    Rossi Construction
As many people know remodeling your home can be very stressful. Thankfully Jason Rossi and his professional crew at Rossi Construction made the entire process a smooth one. They are very true to their word and always communicated very well during the entire process. The workmanship, the attention to detail and turning our room into the room we envisioned was a remarkable experience. My wife and I highly recommend Rossi Construction, they do amazing work and get the job done right!

    Tom Kelly
Tom responded to the message I left regarding my need for a handyman by returning my call. After discussing the nature of the work we decided on a day and time for him to come by. He never showed up for our appointment. It has been over a week since that appointment was set - and still no explanation from Tom. Apparently wasting peoples time is his way of doing business.

Lisa Connors Husbands For Hire LLC
They showed up as scheduled and took details, promising an estimate. I did not hear back for at least several days. When I called back, Lisa said they had not sent an estimate because she did not think I would be willing to pay their estimate, based on a bid they lost with me a year ago. She would not even say what her estimate was. The previous bid was for completely differnent work on a different house. Will never call again.

He made a mistake when attaching the pulls-I had to get a replacement door and a replacement pull handle. I did not charge him for the extra cost to fix his mistakes.  Since he had already cashed my check, it was pulling teeth to get an appointment to come back and fix his mistakes.  Now 2 weeks later, he just left and his parting comment was, "Thanks for being a b**** !"
Frank does not provide written estimates, so when something happens, he can pretends he never said it.  With so many other handymen out there, I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

We scheduled for a morning appointment. I called to reschedule for later on that day. They were fine about that.
I waited and they never showed up nor did did they call.

If they at least called I would have understood. It was really disappointing.

Tom left a message on my phone with a price and what he was going to do. I tried to call him back twice to ask a question and to schedule the work. I finally realized he was not going to call back and we called someone else to do it. If he did not want to do the work he could have told us before he ever came out and it would not have wasted our time or his.

    The Handyman Company
I had a miserable time trying to get in touch with Lowes. At the time of purchase, I was so shocked at the installation costs that I had to think about it. When I got home, I decided that I had no choice since I didn't know anyone that could do the work. Since the products were in two different departments, the installation arrangements were also separate. When I finally go through on the phone, I was told I'd have to come in (again!) to sign a contract. The cost was ridiculous! At that point I signed up for Angie's List.
The Handyman Company sent out Bob Duffany. He was on time, professional and pleasant. I asked him for an extra business card for a referral. I will absolutely use this company again. Easy to do business with and very reasonable prices.

    Custom Bath Concepts
The estimates that were given were very reasonable. Start and completion time was reasonable. He had a delay in a previous job, so he called and asked if he could start 3 days earlier.  I agreed. They were early and on time.  Always kept in constant touch if there was any decisions or issues. The job was done just under the original quote (supplies).  If during the project, there were left overs, he would take back and get store credit.  There was always purchase tickets on the dinning table when I got home so I would know money spent on supplies.  Labor was a fixed quote.  I was lucky there weren't any surprises once they started ripping out the old showers. The supplies quote was a ball park figure of course. The labor was the same, but the supplies like I said were just under the original quote. When giving the estimate, he would offer suggestions and ideas about the work to ensure I had thought of everything.
They were careful about keeping the dust down that always occurs once you start ripping out sheet rock and tiles. Very little clean up I had to do as they did clean up after themselves  in the areas they worked.
From August 16th the day they started to the day final payment was made on September 16th was one month.  There was an unplanned delay of about 7 days in that time frame which was explained and I could understand ,and then work resumed on time.
In one of the showers, the bench was a little off in size and construction as they were working on it.  They had no problem in ripping it out and starting over at their expense.  I am pleased with the work and in the future, would use them again.

    Tom Kelly
We paid Mr. Kelly 750.00 to replace damaged walls that included drying up any water he found, spray for any mold present
and he was to tape and texture and repaint the new Drywall, we also made an agreement that he would fix the
Bottom cabinets damaged by the water, he told my husband he would find a frame to replace the damaged one and if
He couldn't find a used one he would find cabinets and repair them, we paid him an additional $250.00 to repair or
Replace the Cabinets, we told him if he had to buy them we would reimburse him for the cost of the cabinets but when we checked
on the progress we were told he didn't paint the walls and he did nothing to repair the damaged cabinets. We made
several attempts to talk to him about the problems but he wouldn't return our calls. I finally got in touch with him to see if he could come by and give a price for installing countertops, I did this for two reasons, I wanted to know why he took our money and didn't honor our agreement and why he told our house sitter that he couldn't believe we didn't replace the wood inside the walls.
He was to determine what needed to be done once he removed the damaged wall, he agreed to remove anything that had
Mold on it and he stated he had a chemical that he would use that would destroy and mold found. When I asked why he did nothing to the cabinets but put them back without repairing them he didn't give me an answer, I said you took our money but didn't repair the cabinets and you didn't paint the walls as agreed and you wouldn't return our calls and that's not an honest way to do business, so I asked him to price out installing Countertops and fix the cabinets he had already been paid for and give us credit for the Money he kept but didn't earn, I would normally never use someone who I felt was dishonest but I felt it may be the only way to recover the 250.00 we paid him for work never done, he said he would work up a price and get back to me, but that never happened, my husband also called wanting an answer and again, he never returned his calls either.

With times as hard as they are it's hard to imagine why anyone in the trades would damage his reputation
By cheating a customer who trusted them to do a job and even after being confronted about the dishonesty
he still made no attempt to do the right thing. This was an expensive lesson on how this rating system works,
We based our decision on the other customers reviews and we did not have the same good experience as we feel
    Ripped off by this person.

This is the second time in 3 months a car took out my mailbox. Tom came by and replaced it and then it got taken out again. He responded immediately...bought the mailbox, post and cement and then put it in...again...very nice guy...no job too big or too small for him.
