    Rossi Construction
As many people know remodeling your home can be very stressful. Thankfully Jason Rossi and his professional crew at Rossi Construction made the entire process a smooth one. They are very true to their word and always communicated very well during the entire process. The workmanship, the attention to detail and turning our room into the room we envisioned was a remarkable experience. My wife and I highly recommend Rossi Construction, they do amazing work and get the job done right!

Excellent!. For future carpentry work we will not use any other contractor. Mr. Kovacs very is meticulous and only does his work the right way. It is rare to find a contractor that still has an old school work ethic as is the case with Mr. Kovacs.

    Abston Installations Inc.
During the last conversation Nov 2017) we had with Mark Abston, he gave us three available dates for installation. We called him back (twice) and left a messages advising him of which date was best for us. We never heard from him again. A few days later we got a call from Installation Made Easy asking how the job went. We described to them what transpired and they apologized. They then reached out to Mark and asked for his version of what happened and he told Installation Made Easy that he could not accommodate our time frame. So, on one hand he gave us date options then dropped all contact, then on the other hand he told Installation Made Easy that he could not accommodate us. Why wouldn't he just simply tell us he could not accommodate us? Instead, he told two different stories. I will state for the record that someone is lying, and it is not me. We did have the work done with another contractor from Angie's List within our time frame and price was $458.22 less. We also did a review on the other flooring contractor (Sweet Home Improvements, LLC-Janos Kovacs) and now have an OUTSTANDING contractor for our future carpentry needs. If you want a contractor that does not lie to you, you might want to look elsewhere.

Janos of SWI did an absolutely superb job. He was communicative, his price was fair and he was meticulous and thorough in the installation. The new vinyl plank flooring required a little more finesse than typical laminate, and Janos was an absolute craftsman in laying the floor flawlessly. In addition to his skillful workmanship, Janos was a pleasure to be around. He was punctual, worked tirelessly, and left the house in immaculate condition. And the floor looked great! I would not hesitate to recommend Sweet Home Improvements for anyone's flooring job and look forward to contracting with Janos for our next job. Janos is usually booked well in advance, so plan accordingly.

BKJ Home Remodeling and Repair LLC
Hiring BKJ Remodeling aka Angelo Matteo Murray was a huge and costly mistake for us. We hired him to do a list of things to remodel our new house, all of which had to be completed in 1 week. The most urgent item was painting the walls within 5 days so that new flooring could be installed by Home Depot. He assured us it would be no problem to get everything finished within the timeline we required and even indicated this on the contract. He promised 4 6 men every day, working from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm every day, and each working on different items in different parts of the house. The total contract was for $3720, for labor only. He demanded half up front so he could pay his professional crew to get our job done quickly. In the end there was never a professional crew and he put us weeks behind schedule. He did not show up several days, came only for an hour or two on others. Constant excuses his wifes car broke down, his truck broke down, his crew was busy on another job. It was always going to be the next day that this 4 8 man crew would arrive, then it would be the next day, and the next. Never happened. In 8 days the only job he actually completed was ripping up the carpet and 10 x 10 of extra subfloor in our kitchen. Everything else he touched had to later be fixed and re-done by licensed contractors. He did such a sloppy and negligent texturing job on our walls that it took drywall specialists a full week to sand it all off and put our walls back to the starting point. He sloppily sprayed the texture material all over every surface in our home appliances, fixtures, cabinets, wall trim, ceiling trim, counters, sinks, bathtubs, etc. It was all over everything and we had to hire professional cleaners to help us clean it all up. He even sprayed it directly into the air returns. And he sprayed the texture over blobs of un-sanded drywall compound at the wall joints, some of them an inch high. Pictures are below. Thankfully his equipment broke down when he finally arrived to paint after doing the texturing and he left to get a replacement and never came back. We fired him that day, and only realized the extent of the damage when we hired another painter who came to start painting and completely refused to do the job. The painter told us the walls were the worst wall prepping and texturing job he had ever seen and that painting over that would be a disaster. He told us we needed to get some specialists in, so we had 3 licensed contractors in to assess the job Angelo had done and they were all flabbergasted at what had been done to our home. It cost us over $3500 just to have the walls fixed so they could be painted. We then had to hire other contractors to do all the work we had hired Angelo Murray for. Since we were now weeks behind schedule and had sold our current home and had to be out, we had to pay premium fees to get everything done in an urgent timeline. When the house was finally ready for flooring 24 days late, Home Depot could not accommodate flooring installation over a weekend. So we had to pay an additional $2200 to have another company come in on a weekend so we could move in. In the end, Angelo Murray cost us almost $8000 in otherwise unnecessary expenses due to his unfulfilled promises and negligent work. And adding insult to our injury, Angelo Matteo Murray has continued to keep all the money we paid him despite the fact he only completed a fraction the work and cost us thousands of dollars to repair his shoddy and negligent work in our home. He made repeated promises to return our money, and even made that promise in writing. But just like his constant promises when we were begging him to finish the work, he is now giving us the runaround for the last 5 weeks with constant promises of tomorrow, next week, his wife mailed the check already, etc. etc. We finally contacted the sheriff, and he admitted he lied and never sent the check, and that we should take him to court. There is much more to story of what happened while he was on our property, but since we now have a lawsuit pending against him I wont go into it. But if anyone is considering hiring this company, or any other company owned or operated by Angelo Matteo Murray I would suggest the following. This is what the sheriff advised me: - Do NOT pay him any money up front. If he insists he needs money to start the job, offer to pay him every day after he has put in a full days work. I wish we would have done this. Since we were supplying all the materials he actually had no financial outlay so there was no need to give him money to start working. Unfortunately we believed him that he needed the money to pay a crew of skilled workers, and we were anxious to get the job finished ASAP and knew it would require several workers . Unfortunately, those skilled workers did not exist, and we didnt realize that until we were already behind schedule and over a barrel. As the sheriff said, a legitimate contractors workers would never be paid in advance. So if a contractor is asking for money upfront for labor only, that is a huge warning sign. - Do some research on-line regarding whether your contractor might have some past criminal charges. Wish I would have done that in advance as well. Apparently there are websites I could have checked. In short, hiring this company was a terrible mistake. He turned what should have been a happy and exciting time in our lives into a stressful, costly nightmare of an experience. 8 weeks later we are still devastated by what he did to us, and we will continue to be affected until after our court date. I would not wish this experience on anyone.

    Flooring America of Bradenton
Todd the sales representative was great. He did not hesitate to make suggestions when he felt we were headed in the wrong direction. The installers were the best. From moving the furniture to the actual installation it was 100% professional. We were on very tight timeline with only 4 days available prior to visitors coming. Todd assured me that the installers would start and finish on time and they did. I even had an extra day to get my house back in shape. This was no small task with all 4 bedrooms and office having carpet removed and tile installed.

I can recommend FA whole heartedly. We did have an issue with the sales person we dealt with going MIA for a few days while we were trying to figure out if we could make this happen. It was a tight schedule and short notice, but they managed to pull it off and for that we are grateful. Love the floors and will use them again when we replace more floors in our home.

    Lowes Home Improvement
They did a good job but left scuff marks.  They didn't warn us when they sanded the concrete slab and didn't allow us time to try to keep things clean.  We had to clean for a week after they left.  The price was competitive.

    Spectrum Installations
The installer were on time:) they covered the areas (Carpet) that were not being installed . Installer are polite . Mark let us know us know exactly  how the install was going to be done and how long it would take .  also that  the tile install mortar takes  24 hrs dry before they will finish the install with the grout. My friends and family that have come to see us love the way the tile looks and will be getting work done from Spectrum:) I"m sure Spectrum will be installing my carpet on my next house project .

    SWEET HOME IMPROVEMENTS LLC
Janos and Sweet Home Improvements are the best of numerous good service providers we have found on Angie's List. Janos gave us a very competitive estimate for tiling the front and back Lanais, and preparing for  and installing a wood floor. We couldn't be happier. Janos actually gave us a great recommendation for the wood we eventually bought (it wasn't available for us to see in our area), did a great job tearing out and removing the old carpet, and put the tile down tremendously well. Janos went well above and beyond what he could have provided, and his workmanship is tremendous. I will use him again whenever we can!
