Remodeling Kitchen And Bath reviews in Palmetto Bay

very well. They took the condo down to studs removing walls, windows, remodel 2 bathrooms and kitchen, paint and flooring. Direct Builders has done extensive work for me at my home also. They installed an outside kitchen, living area and dining area. They also did my kitchen, 2 bathroom and closet remodels from cabinets, painting, flooring and lights to suggestions on all jobs concerning design and style. They also helped me with redoing the driveway and outside painting. They are a Renaissance company able to handle construction and design with many different subcontractors to recommend.

Shower base had to be prepared for tile install as well as about ten inches of surrounding walls inside shower. After wall board was installed and cement base hardened the tiles were put in with mortar. Work was completed in one day with excellent results.

Jose Luis is very professional, he is patient and very responsive. He did an amazing job renovating our kitchen in our condo in Aventura and we hired again him a couple of years later to redo all our closets after we mived to a house in Palmetto Bay. We highly recommend him.

It was a true pleasure working with Eduardo and his team. The remodel took nine months and included 2 bathrooms and all the rest of the house. House is 3875sq ft. so it was a major project. Their entire team truly showed interest in getting the job right without drama, mostly do to Eduardo's position that they will get the job done to our satisfaction. I would diffidently hire them for future projects.

Initially spoke to Joel, explained what I needed. He was pleasant and sent someone (I don't care to remember his name) to give me a quote. I knew that what I wanted was a relatively small job so I spent some time going through Angies list finding people that looked like they undertook small jobs as well as the bigger ones. I was also very clear with Joel about what I wanted. This person who turned up to quote told me that he was surprised that he had been sent to me as this was too small a job for them to be interested. Why send someone to waste my time if you are not interested? (The guy at one point said my request was 'too low end' for them, and he asked about building a step into the shower; I was confused about why I needed a step for a walk-in shower (no-one else has mentioned this) and then he said it didn't matter as my bathroom was too small anyway!) I write this review for those who don't have mansions and high budgets - this company is not for you.

I called several contractors before selecting Fine Design Builders for my project. Eric responded immediately and met with me shortly thereafter to start designing my kitchen and provide me a quote. He clearly had lots of experience and was able to make my vision a reality. We spent a day selecting cabinets, backsplash, countertop, tiles. I was given lots of options and colors to choose from. His team showed up ON TIME every day. Eric was always easily accessible by phone throughout the project and made sure that his team stayed on track. He removed the soffits and replaced cabinets, backsplash, countertop. New lighting and appliances. Flooring and crown molding extended into my family room. I love my new kitchen and would definitely call Eric and his team again for future projects.

I purchased a special of a drawing/model of what the remodeled kitchen would look like. After Mr. Jackson arrived and we spoke for a bit of what I would like, he measured the kitchen and then showed me what the drawing would look like. I said OK but it was not what I was expecting but thought it might serve purpose. He told me he would have them to me by end of that week. I waited 2 weeks and sent him a reminder email. I received shortly thereafter with apology for the delay. I did not get back to him right away because I really had not had a chance to discuss with my husband but emailed Mr. Jackson on March 3 (about a week after I received drawings) with questions on the drawing as they were not entirely what we discussed. I sent a reminder email on March 11, and still have not heard back from him. Also drawings were not what I expected at all - it was a computer rendering of cabinets. Felt it was a waste of money.

Awesome experience. We have been impressed by this company and the people working in. From the initial quote to completation it has been a great and easy experience. We remodeled our entire guest bathroom in just 5 days, as promised. Quality is impeccable, everything went smooth, very good communication and workers are not only good but extremely polite and clean. They protected the premises every day leaving a few or no dust at all. The supervisors, Jose and Jose were esquisite, taking care of our fully satisfaction. The workers Kevin, Oscar and Randy were a blast to see at work, punctual, professional, very nice to talk to. All nice and genuine people. Price was overall very honest. We recommend this company eyes closed and no doubt we will use for our future master bathroom remodeling. Thank you !

Michael has always done very good work. He's on time and extremely honest. His estimates are always reasonable. During the house remodel, the master bathroom did have a floor. Michael told me he had bad news, that it was going to cost $1000 more than the estimate because of a problem with the angle of the pipe. I didn't have much choice but to approve the increase. The next day, Michael informed me that he was incorrect and instead of the $1000 that I had approved, it was only going to cost $300. I was amazed that a general contractor would charge less that what I had approved. Michael has my approval to use me as a reference anytime.

I recently installed a dual fuel (gas stove top, electric convection oven) range in my kitchen , which required the conversion from the old all electric range, and the installation of a new gas line, and other components to connect the gas portion of the new range. I had used Bob's in the past for several projects, and have always been pleased with their work, their prompt arrival and their kept promises. As a licensed plumbing contractor, they are properly licensed and qualified for gas line installations. John told me about how much it would cost, and I agreed to have them install it on a time and material basis, including the permit cost. They did a top notch job, were prompt when they committed to the project, and assisted me in the installation of the range. I will certainly use them again for other projects in their trade.
