Well & Water Pump Repair reviews in Palm Harbor

Couldnt have been better! Realized irrigation system was not working on Tuesday night. Got on Angies list, found several sources for repair. Contacts were made on Wednesday morning. Terry, the owner of B &B, was at my home by 10.00 AM, working on the system. By 6.00 PM I had a new pump and electrical installed. A very comfortable solution to a troubling situation. Just couldnt have worked out any better, Super Service.

I heard a rumor that Earl the father had passed away and the son, Dave, is now running the company. I have been trying to contact the company and all I get is a msg asking to leave my name and # and he will contact me later BUT his phone mail box is FULL A-L-L T-H-E T-I-M-E. So I cannot leave a msg. How does one run a business when there is no one to answer the phone and the voice mail box is full???

We paid for son's services but Earl's service today was "Pro Bono." Both Earl and his son gave us "Hats Off Service". They both took the time to fully explain our questions regarding their services. Their service was top notch and there is not any doubt that we will use them again!!! Trust and Honesty are priceless!!! Earl Pruitt Pump & Well Service - We recommend to all that need this service!!!

I met with Brian in April of 2014.  He was very nice and gave a good rate.   Read Angies list reviews and ended up going with Pools inc.   One thing that caught my attention when I first met Brian was he complained about customers and that there should be a website like Angies list, but for business to not deal with certain customers.   I didn't think much of it at the time.   I also noticed any negative review he got defensive, instead of owning up to it.   Again, another thing I didnt think much of.   Well now it all makes sense.
April 4, 2014 I signed the contract with Pools inc and he asked me to get something notarized.   I did on April 8.   April 10, still no word and asked him If I should drop it off.     April 11 and still no word from Brian and my check was still not cashed..   I finally called him and he said "he had nothing to tell me yet and would pick up the form next week".   I asked him to keep me updated.
April 15  Duke finally came out to verify no lines were there
April 17 Brian stopped by to say now we need a tree inspection and they needed approval from the city to drive over the side walk to get to my back yard and on April 21 someone from the city would be by
April 18, I asked about a pool fence in the pool around the sun shelf for when smaller kids are over.   He thought it would be a good idea and it would work.   Come to find out months later that it was not possible and the pool fence company refused to touch that.
May 1, Brian finally got approval just to drive over the sidewalk and said he would pick up the permit on May2 and start May 5.
May 5, Omar showed up for a hour to do a outline and left.
May 6, Omar  came by knocked down my old wall and was gone by 12:30 with a huge mess in my back yard and still no permit out front
May 8, They finally were able to get the new retaining wall up and it was only one person who did it.   But guess what.   They put it in the wrong spot.   It was about 3 feet south of where it should have been.  they claimed my survey was wrong that I got the year prior when I bought the house.   I personally think they messed up, but we will never really know.   Because of this we ended up having to re do our pool deck.
May 14, Now the wall is built and they start to dig for the pool.  We had to find our own website to do the layout of the pool and send it to brian.     Lucky I work from home, other wise the pool would have been put in the wrong spot.   They had it all wrong.    Omar called Brain and it was fixed the next day.
May 22 +/-, Pool was then dug and now for the shoot.
May 31,  They came out and did that.   After the concrete dried it was not level.   The deep had the deck sloping into the pool and the shallow end had a slight step into the pool.   They claimed that it could be fixed with the pavers being added to my existing concrete slab for an extra $1600.   We agreed to it, if no water will come into the house, since the pavers would be higher then my inside floor.
June 2, telling me that things can be adjusted, but he knew that once the pool was shot that no adjustments can be made.
June 7 pool is done and being filled.
June 9, I had a spa on the part that they were putting more deck that we had to drain and when the guys came to move the spa, they did  not even try and disconnect it.
June 10, the pavers are done and because the pool is not level like they said it would be on May 31.     There is now a step going into the pool by the sun shelf.     He said he would be by and never showed up
June 11, supposed to come again and nothing
June 13, had a first good rain fall.   Water filled up behind the wall.   We asked him a month prior about a drain behind it and he said it is not needed.   Well, now we got him to agree on the drain behind the wall.    Also, at this point, there is still a pile of dirt in my back yard and it looked like a garbage dump, the spa that they had to move is still moved and not put back where it was, pool is filled with dirt from the wall leaking and water in my house.     I am also asking about all his subs that were here to get waivers and he claimed he only had one.  there were so many different workers here.
June 16, pool pump not working correct and most likely from all the dirt left from his cleaners.    Had to ask him to tell his guys to start shutting my hose off and wasting water
June 17, claimed the guy doing the stucco on the wall would be by and never showed.   I also notified him that the existing wall and new wall do not match.
June 18, asked when the paver guys would be here to fix the pavers again since we had more rain and it flooded the house again.
June 20, Had to ask Brain again to tell the guys to shut the hose off.  three times in one week
June 22, pool had not been cleaned by Pools inc in over a week and it was gross
June 23, still no cleaning person and have algae growing and asked again about the pavers and wall.   Asked again about the spa being put back in the correct spot from weeks prior.
June 24, now the pool looks like a swamp and I sent Brian a pic asking if it should look like this.     This is where he starts to get nasty.  He says "Yes, that is how it should look, don't be an idiot.  "  I mentioned that it was a nice way to talk to a customer.
June 25, and the pool was finally cleaned.
July 5 and still having problems with the pump
July 9 Brian claimed that final inspection would be done the following day and the wall would be fixed
July 10, did not pass inspection because of the fence gates
July 11, asked Brian to get my back yard back in order, with the spa put back from months prior and hooked back up, wall fixed, and pavers fixed.    Omar used 10 g wire when he was supposed to use 6 g and now Brian claimed it was not needed
July 14, Brian again claimed everything would be done
July 17, I explained that I am getting  frustated with the pavers and water still coming into my house overtime it rained.  I even offered to call another paver company to fix it.
July 22, again said that someone would be by to fix the wall.
July 24, Brian had the county come out to do the final, but I did not get to do the gate yet and it was a waste of time.   I was able to fix the fence at the end of today
July 28 issues with the pump again
July 30  Permit was finally done.     Brians solution to fix the water coming into my house was putting a roof over the stop the rain in the house.     Brian getting rude again saying the water  in my house is not from the pavers.  He said "Katie doesn't understand the physics of what needs to happen".  (just wanted you to know that my wife Katie is a civil engineer.  I am sure she understands).   I explained that when they charged us an extra $1600 for the pavers that they guaranteed that there would not be a step into the pool or water in my house.     I also asked him again to not talk to me the way he does.    I brought up the huge garbage pile again.      After all this, he is claiming that it is my down spout that is on the other side of the wall causing the water to get in.   Of course I fixed that like he requested.      I start asking him again when this will be done
July 31 pool is dirty again and said someone would be by and nobody showed.
Aug 5, asked about pavers again and explained that I hooked the spa back up and moved it.  After all I had been asking since may
Aug 11, pool not cleaned again
    Aug 13 still not cleaned
Aug 14, I found a note from cleaner that he was there on Aug 13, but he never vacuumed.
Aug 16, sent pics of dirty pool after Brian claimed it was cleaned
Aug 18, asked Brian to tell the guys again to shut my hose off.    Also, they knocked my door off track when cutting pavers
Aug 19, asked again to fix my door
Aug 22, another guy is coming to look at the wall to fix it
Aug 25, complained again about rain water all in my house and had to get rid of a rug.   He finally agreed to putting in a second drain after months of myself and wife asking for it.  I also ended up finding a huge clump of concrete from the wall that was not there the day prior.   More mess
Aug 27, pipe by the pump is leaking now
Sept 11, I asked about just adding an extra block to the wall and then  stucco it all again to match and Brian agreed
Sept 22, we liked how the wall finally came out and the drain seemed to be working for the rain
Sept 26 more issues with the pump
Oct 9 of the cheap knobs he put on the pipes broke off
Dec 19., the wall was finally fully complete.
April 4 2016, My pool pump stopped working.   brian told me he had  three year warranty  and pentair agreed since he used all Pentair equipment.    I couldn't get Brian to help me so I asked another company.   They tried to help, but said it could not be replaced under warranty.  I spoke with the Pentair rep and he thinks it was installed wrong and they it why it went bad.   Brain offered no help with that other then a lie that he was trying to reach the Pentair rep and the rep told me that Brian never called him.   I ended up having to buy a brand new pump and have someone else install it for over $700
I still have a hole next to my pool light, tons of marks at the bottom of the pool from when they did the pool finish, tile in the pool is scrapped up from the pool finishers, piping never finished, plus more.  I would love to leave a picture of all this. , but do not see an option.

Mr. Kelley and an assistant arrived the same afternoon as we scheduled the appointment. I described the problem, the checked the system and while I thought I had bad controllers, Mr. Kelley was quick to discover the real problem. He took off the cap to the pump switch controller and learned this was fired. He installed a new one, checked out the pump, my pump and well were find, he set the switch, gave me advise on zone management. Was very courteous, and provided the services in a very competent and friendly manner. He didn't finish until he made sure all was working properly. took about 1 and half hours of time.

Earl Sr. came out within a couple hours of my call.  He inspected the pump and told me what the problem was, what was needed and quoted a fair price.  The work was scheduled for the next day.  David arrived with his crew ahead of schedule and began work. Removing the old pump was an unexpected problem but David called Earl Sr. who called me immediately to explain the problem, what would be required and what to expect.  Within a couple of hours, a crane arrived, the pump was pulled and work continued.  Everything was explained and I was very comfortable with everything that was done.  Before they left, everything was checked to be sure it was working correctly.
I would definitely recommend Earl Pruitt for any well and pump service. I would use them again but don't anticipate any problems based on all the work they did.  Great family owned business!

Glen from Waterworld came out because I was having extremely high water bills. As he investigated the situation, Glen found that there was a zone valve leaking internally which I would have never known. To fix the problem, Glen cut out and replaced the leaky valve. Sure enough, when the work was finished the water meter stopped moving! Glen was also kind enough to go through my entire system and check for other leaks or problems. The overall experience was very positive and I know I will use Waterworld again in the future.

David and the guys did an awesome job. Quick, clean, and friendly! Just the way I like it! We also got a little price break for agreeing to do the job when they came to look at the job (performed the inspection) which seemed fair. Time is just as important to me as to them. Handling out of state rental property is sometimes difficult when the contractor has a busy schedule. These guys are our go to guys in PA.

John did a wonderful job, was prompt and clean at the work he did.  Planning on using them to replace to other four zones to complete my overhaul on the system.  Highly recommend!!!!

My experience with this company started out with excellent communication with Mr. Pruitt. I explained to him that the previous owners of the home we just bought had attempted to dig a shallow well right next to the house. We wanted to have it safely removed and filled in. He was very honest and up front about what he believed we had at our property and how much it would cost to take care of it. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently and charged me exactly what they said they were going to. They left the site of the shallow well in great shape and you can hardly tell it was there anymore. Very happy with the people and the service we received.
