In one word- OUTSTANDING. East Lake Eyecare and Dr. Rusoff are a First Class operation. From the moment I walked thru the door and was greeted very pleasantly, to the fresh pastries at the reception counter, then a very nice technician named Maria (very funny lady) who did my pre examination work up, then came in the most thorough eye doctor I have ever encountered- she spent a long time with me and addressed all of my eye health concerns, fitted me with a great new technology contact lenses, which are much more comfortable and see clearer than the ones I was fitted in by my previous optometrist, then I wanted to also get glasses, one look at the eyeglasses area and WOW it has more eyeglass selections than I even new existed, but the best part was I didn't have to shop for myself,  I was styled by an amazing optician named Abby. She picked out frames that I probably would never had looked at and they looked amazing on me. I looked 10 years younger and soooo fashionable. I also got a pair of computer glasses and fabulous sunglasses. Luckily my insurance picked up a lot of the costs and they gave me a big discount on the multiple pairs. Last I went to check out and then leave- everyone was so nice, not like most medical offices. I cannot wait to go back and pick up my new glasses and say hi to my new friends at East Lake Eyecare.

Dr Repke was very thorough. My husband woke up one day with no peripheral vision. We called Dr. Repke and got an appointment in a very timely manner. Dr. Repke thoroughly examined my husband and came to the conclusion he had had a stroke and recommended what our next step should be. He contacted our primary care doctor and guided us on how to proceed. Since that time, my husband has used Dr. Repke for all follow-ups.

Dr. Johnson is a very caring, soft spoken doctor with the best bed side manner of any doctor I have met. He answers all questions with explanations that are easy for the patient to understand
He is always very relaxed and takes plenty of time with each patient which in turn puts the patient at ease.

I had a problem with my eye on the weekend between Christmas and New Years and called on Mon 12/23/2013 and got into see Dr Hammer. He took pictures of my eye and determined I needed a shot to stop the bleeding. I have been to Dr Hammer in the past but normally see Dr Suner, who is also very good. I cannot say enough about how good this office is at retina problems. I would highly recommend this to anyone with eye problems.

While the retina is fine, Dr. Kolodner found I had glaucoma and started treatment with eye drops. I have been seeing Dr. Kolodner for over a year. His exams are thorough and he explains his findings. The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. He is concerned not only about my eye pressure, but the size of my optic nerve opening. Dr, Kolodner schedules my appointments on a regular basis for to follow up and change treatment as necessary.

Very easy to make appointment. Wait time once in the office was acceptable. Tech checked perifrial vision as well as reading eye chart with both eyes. Put in drops to dialate pupils . Went back out to waiting area for 15 minutes. Finally saw doctor and she checked my glasses prescription and thought it needed to be changed. Then checked pressure in both eyes, and did do a very through exam of the back of my eyes, retina and optic nerve. Had some concern with pressure readings and scheduled additional tests and follow up without really explaining her concerns to me. Did receive a call from someone in the office two days later as they realized I was upset. Was sent back out to their eyewear center, they seemed not to pleased that I wanted to reuse my frames. Also wanted to add extras bringing price for lenses only to $300. When I balked some unneeded options were taken off and they came down to a more reasonable $100. I went for that but at no time was given the option to go elsewhere to price out the work. I have regular glasses axnd sunglasses that I purchesed at Sears two years ago for $175 for both, frames and lenses included and they were both ray bans. Not to leased with the eyewear part of this practice. All in all it was a fair to good experience.

Staff was very nice. They originally didn't have an appointment for a few weeks, but put me on a list to call if they had a cancellation. Which they did and I was able to make. They were very friendly. Had to wait a little while since I had a late in the day appointment and by that time they were running a little bit behind, but not an excessive wait. Exam seemed very thorough, and she was able to answer some questions I had about the possibility of contacts with my vision issues.
I ended up going with progressive glasses, and they had a good selection of styles and I found one that meets my needs and are comfortable and I feel that I can see better than I was previously.
Everyone was very nice, and very helpful. They called right away when the glasses came in, as promised. I am very happy with my glasses.

I had a regular eye exam and a near-field vision test. The office was very professional and I was quite impressed with the operation. It was a basic exam but I never felt rushed. I had a follow-up for another exam and was seen promptly at my scheduled appointment time. Highly recommended.

I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment, checked in and took a seat. I was called in on schedule, and a technician checked my details, then did a series of vision tests, including a visual field test. I was given eye drop for dilation, then sent back to the waiting area briefly for the drops to have effect. After that I was taken to the exam room and the doctor did more checking of my vision and reviewed the results of the earlier tests with me. I was given a new prescription and went to the checkout desk to schedule my next appointment. Over all, the entire experience took about 40 minutes and went very smoothly.

I stepped on my glasses and mangled my glasses pretty well. I had just moved into the area and did not yet have a eye care provider. I googled providers in the area and came upon East Lake Eyecare. I happened to come in 1/2 hour before closing and they were quite busy. They took my glasses and started working on them when it was my turn and then called me to the desk. He asked if it was OK to keep them overnight as it was near closing and they would need more time. I was surprised that they could be fixed at all; I thought they might be beyond repair. I said of course and they took my information. They called me back the following morning and said my glasses were ready. I came to pick them up and was amazed--my glasses were like new. I tried them on and said they were great and started stepping toward the cashier to pay. They said have a nice day. I said what do I owe. No charge. I can only imagine it took a couple hours to bend my frame back into shape so my lens would fit again, and yet they accepted no compensation. They have definitely earned my business in the future and I would definitely recommend them.
