Music Instruction reviews in Palm Harbor

  • It went excellent. I have learned so much. His knowledge of the instrument and overall music theory is a great combination. Very convenient being a skype meeting and offers flexibility with my busy schedule.

  • Since we're competitors you should take everything I say with a grain of salt - I'm only repeating what my customers and teachers have told me.  None of them would go back again.  In fact, the mother of the girl who wanted to learn saxophone wrote a scathing review of the store on another web site (we are teaching her daughter how to play saxophone, and she in fact played it at her grandfather's memorial service recently).

  • The teacher was well-qualified and made it easy for an adult student to take lessons.  The store was kind of unusual for a music school though in the sense that it was open by appointment only and didn't take credit cards.  There also seemed to be an undercurrent of friction between some members of the staff but since it didn't impact my lessons it wasn't an issue for me.

  • Taking piano lessons with Lou online is fabulous.  Just sit at your own piano and he's there by Skype.  I took lessons years ago and wanted to study as an older adult.  He creates a learning situation based on my own interests and knows a lot of music and the history and construction of many, many music genres. He's very encouraging and takes into account that adults have multiple life roles....he goes at the speed I want to go.  The lessons aren't cheap but the learning per $ justifies the cost.  I've made a lot of progress in a short time and music has become a central pleasure in my life again.
Anyone who seriously wants to learn and be more fluent in music in general and piano in particular will enjoy this style of learning. It is great to practice and play on your own piano with no commute and in the comfort of your own home.
    - LINDA J.
