Nail Salon reviews in Palm Harbor

The pedicure went fine and looked great. Then I went over for my finger nails.  The tech removed the old acrylics and began to cut back my natural nails. The second nail he cut, he cut my finger! The bleeding would not stop.  Finally with 3 band-aids it stopped bleeding. As soon as I left there, I went across the street to an Urgent Care. As soon as they took of the bandages, the bleeding started all over. They had to use silver nitrate sticks to cauterize.  They said it was like having the end of my finger shaved off.  There was no way to stitch or glue it.  I had to make several follow-up trips to the doctor. They want me to see a hand specialist, which I have not yet done. Now, many weeks later, I finally have a thin layer of new skin over the injury, but it is extremely sensitive.  This has been a ridiculous experience!

I went to the salon to have acrylic nails removed, nails they had put on 6 weeks prior.. I was assigned to one tech who managed to to pull off part of my pinky nail and then nick my other pinky nail with a grinder, causing both hands to bleed. I was then dumped off another tech who managed to grind down every nail to the point where they are paper thin and extremely sensitive to the touch. I communicated that I was not going to pay for the service. One of the techs came out of the salon after I had left, and began yelling at me down the hall for money. I kept walking and continued to hear her scream. I called the manager the next day to file a complaint. He yelled at me, told me never to go to his salon again, and then hung up on me. I surely did not need to be told to never go back. And, I would think twice before anyone did

Lisa, the owner knows the names of her client. She is friendly, but is not good at small talk. She is very professional and is a perfectionist. She will help you select your colors and is brutally honest if you select a color is not made for your complexion. I have used other nail techs at this business and was not happy. I strongly recommend Lisa. She will do right by you.

Q T Nails is as excellent as my salon is. It is small run by a husband and wife team. They do have a couple of stations in there.  The price is extremely reasonable and the service is great. They are very professional. They get 'A's across the board. The charge was 45 dollars for a Pedicure and an Acrylic fill. I will be using them this week.
