    They fixed the lawn mower and after 35 days the lawn mower had the same issue, I took it back and because 30 days has passed I had to pay again, I took it for 2nd time and after 40 days the same issue appeared. The person who is at the front desk has no customer service training, she is very rude and always on the phone.

    I had taken apart the motor and wanted to make sure I was ordering the right parts. Knowing I would be doing the work my self Craig still spent the time with me to make sure I was getting the right parts and everything I needed. This is the type of place I like to do business, they are not trying to get everything they can out of you. They just helped make sure I had what I needed. He looked to see if he had a used one too. Parts prices were the same as online, no big make up.

    John contacted us with the work performed. He informed us that, while the unit was quite usable, it did not idle. To fix that would require $40 to rebuild the carburetor. An option he really wasn't recommending. When the unit was taken home and put to use, it was just as he said. It operated fine as long as the engine speed was kept above what would be idle. Somehting which was easy to do as it is a weed whacker/edger which is normally at operating speed. I found John to be very honest, reasonabley priced and quick to perform the work/return the unit. I would use John's services again and would definitely recommend him to others.

    I needed help getting a pressure washer running. I left it with John for a couple of days and he got it going. I had trouble with it again a few days later and John had me bring it back to him and he fixed while I waited.

    I delivered two Craftsman yard tools to this company on a Monday.  A Trimmer/Edger and a Trimmer.They had both been unused for a year or more and in storage for most of that.  Checking the items in was a nightmare.  I was asked by a lady at the desk to describe them for her sheet!!??  In the end she gave me one claim ticket for the two items.  Would have been much simpler to issue two tickets, one for each.  I was also told four to five days.  Very good I thought.
    Both had been used regularly before storage and had always had Sears ready mix 40:1 two cycle gas mixture as fuel.  Both had performed very well for years.
    On Friday I called and after being put on hold I was told they had not been done.  This morning, Saturday, a man called and told me the Trimmer was working but the other item wasn't worth repairing!  I didn't think that was his call but none the less.  I got the real impression he just couldn't be bothered.
    When I arrived to collect them both I discovered we had to pay cash.  The man behind the desk pointed to a sign on the wall.  Didn't I see it when last here he asked?  Clear for people to see.  Yes!  If you found it among the dozen other notices.
    When I went to load the things into the back of my truck, they were both oily and greasy.  When a last had them serviced they were given back wiped clean by the shop.
    I would not recommend this company for the repair of any yard equipment.  The small repair shop is a mess and even today it took time to find my  two items.
    It really isn't the owner's job to decide whether I want spend my money.  He couldn't even be bothered to estimate the cost of service.
    If you do--take gloves and CASH!

    John's Mobile Mower Repair is also doing business as BT Repair in Palm Harbor, FL at 727 787 3767.
    I was charged $121.00 for pick-up of my lawn mower(I am a senior and do not have the strength to put mower into my small car), a new blade. air filter and shop supplies.
    Because the lawn didn't need mowing until Sunday (1/20/13) I did not try to start the mower until then (this was the first attempt since the supposed repair). I charged this electrical mower for 24 hours as is recommended and when it didn't start, I called the company. (The electrical outlet I was using to charge the mower was functional)
    This is the reply I got from the man who answered the phone:
    1) I would be charged another $47.00 for someone to pick up the mower in addition to any other costs.
    2) He said the repairs were only covered for 30 days.
    3) I responded this request was within the thirty days and then I noticed that NOWHERE ON THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT was there a date written. (Very convenient for an owner who doesn't want to honor a warranty.)
    ALSO, NOWHERE ON THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT was there any wording which indicated a 30 day warranty on repairs.
    I have paid $121.00 for a lawn mower which doesn't work.

    John promptly returned my message and found out what was needed to be done. He picked up the lawnmower, diagnosed it, repaired it, and promptly returned the lawnmower. It works like it is brand new! I would definitely recommend.

    I called John and he said just to bring it by the next day. He repaired the mower that day even though I was unable to pick up the mower until Saturday morning. He was extremely reasonable with the estimate and had no additional mark-ups. His shop was a little difficult to locate but WELL worth the trip. Thanks John

    DWAYNE WAS VERY PERSONABLE. VERY FRIENDLY. HE AGREED TO PICK UP OUR MOWER FOR A VERY FAIR RATE AS WE WERE OUTSIDE OF HIS USUAL AREA. HE PERFORMED THE WORK ONLY AFTER CALLING AND LETTING ME KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. HE WAS PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.
