  • This experience went better than I could have hoped for. Communications with Ron Cook at Wind Mitigation Retrofits were pleasant, timely, and informative. Technician Rob also communicated in advance, arrived precisely as scheduled, and worked non-stop in the attic. He took photos of the finished job and discussed details with me. He did whatever was required to make sure the spacing, number of nails, and other details all met or exceeded current building codes.
    His photos -- which will not only circulate to the wind mitigation inspector, my insurance agent, and homeowner insurance company -- will be helpful to me in the future should I sell the house. I also gain a huge benefit of peace of mind with the security of my roof, particularly during any severe storms.
    I would like to note that I had roofing companies offer to do the work by taking up old shingles, cutting through the plywood, and doing the retrofits prior to installing new roof shingles. I did not like the idea of weakening the roof structure by cutting then renailing the plywood, and so glad a home inspector recommended Wind Mitigation Retrofits of FL to me.
    My experience was terrific all the way through ? I received superior customer service, cooperation, information, and professional service from Ron Cook and his team at Wind Mitigation Retrofits of Florida. I highly recommend them for any wind mitigation retrofit work.

  • I contacted several  insurance providers for coverage for a recently-purchased home, and based on the information quoted, selected the Coleman Insurance Agency in Dunedin, Florida to provide homeowner's insurance.Their agent, Todd Christofferson, was professional and replied to my inquiries in a timely manner. I paid in full for year and was pleased with the entire process until about a month later when I received a bill for an additional $240. When questioned, Todd admitted that he'd made an error when preparing my quote. He sincerely apologized for his error, but would not honor the quoted amount. I understand that people make mistakes, and I was impressed that Todd admitted that he was at fault, but that didn't "make it all better". Todd explained that he couldn't adjust the price to the quoted amount because of a Florida law prohibiting insurance rebates. It seems ( to me, anyway)  that there's a very fine line between  making an honest mistake that cost an extra $240 OR providing a quote at an attractive price to secure my business, and then raising the price once the business is locked in. Most other businesses honor their quotes, it's unfortunate that insurance providers don't have to.

  • We have been using Tampa Bay Insurance for about 3 years, and always receive prompt, excellent service.  Whenever updates need to be sent to mortgage companies or our children have needed auto insurance, we've been able to count on the team at Tampa Bay Insurance to efficiently take care of our requests.  We have handled all of our business with Tampa Bay Insurance over the phone and email.  I couldn't find a way to select that when asked "Where Work Was Performed".

  • We have been with them for 50 years and currently are using them. The number one reason we stay with this insurance agency is price, cost. People can't beat them because they are for military families so prices are typically significantly lower. They are easy to get hold of and when I call them I get a person right away.

  • I just had a good experience with them. They just gave me a deal on insurance they saved me almost $2000 once I bundled my home and car insurance. They are very good, excellent never had a hassle with them. I really like that we were able to save this much money every month. They wrote a 1 year policy which is never heard of anymore. I am really happy with the customer service they provide and I would continue to use them again in the future.

  • They replaced a bumper section, and gave me a rental. They did a really good job. We also used them in Vegas when our car was stolen. They gave us a check for it. They work quickly too. There are no hassles. I think the office was perfect. We had insurance agents before, but no one did as well as they did. As far as the way they treated me, they couldn't have done better.

  • When I first called RAM I talked with David, the owner I believe, who spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with me discussing my situation and about the insurance industry here in Florida. After our discussion, David explained that he handled mostly business clients. So we set up an appointment with an account manager, Beth Clingo, who handled the insurance types, (Home Owner's and Flood) that I was interested in. Beth found a replacement company for me to obtain my Flood insurance and we also decided to stay with my current HO insurance company at this time. My meeting with Beth was very informative and Beth wanted to make sure I had the coverages I needed. Beth and I have been in email contact several times since our meeting. It makes me feel very good that these folks are looking out for my best interests. If I ever need insurance coverage in the future, I would not hesitate to choose RAM.

  • I carry high coverage insurance for all of my vehicles. I think it is important because I have some classic cars which I have worked hard to maintain. I don't think I have used them to their full potential because I have not had to file a claim yet, but I have been pleased so far.
