Exam wasn't as thorough as I had hoped. I had one growth that I told him had been there for over a year that continues to scab over but never goes away. When I pointed it out to him, he said it was ok but didn't tell me what it was. He tried to freeze it but that didn't work at all so I still have it. I asked about the rash under one breast so he froze a little there, too, but it hasn't made any difference so I still have a rash and he didn't offer any suggestions for prevention.

Excellent doctor & staff. Dr. Albergo has a great bedside manner & takes time to answer all your questions. I was very happy with the care both myself & my husband received. I'm so happy I found a dermatologist I can trust.

He is very personable, very concerned about the patients, very helpful. If you have questions, he will answer the questions directly and clearly. He is such a very good doctor.

He actually was able to take me earlier when I had more of a concern about my problem that I thought I did. He kind of got me in the very next day, so his availability is very good.

He was recommended to me 10 years ago and since then he has moved on to a bigger and better place. He started at a little place and now he is in a big beautiful place. He's had several P.A.s work for him. I would recommend that office to anybody. I have had several cases of melanoma and so I go every 6 months. This was a follow up. They do an excellent job. They tell you everything about it.

She took a tiny skin sample from my face and put it under the microscope. She showed me the slide and said I had an outbreak of demodex mites!!  She prescribed cream and oral medication for my problem as well as tea tree oil. I am very impressed with Dr. Roper. She is one of the very few dermatologists who know about demodex. Some dermotologists are not at all aware of them and have no idea what the treatment should be. Believe me because I have been to several in the last couple of months. Dr. Roper  is also a caring person, and so is Yvette her assistant. They are the best.

I had to stop going. When I qualified for and switched over to Medicare (with BCBS/FL secondary) over two years ago there were some problems that surfaced this year regarding claims processing. A computer glitch and several months of error-laden bills were to "become the patient's responsibility". I visited the Social Security office and called Medicare and was told that I was covered. The privileged communication between provider and insurer (First Coast) was not available to me and DC apparently did little or nothing to help me resolve the issue with the provider's special access phone number. The outstanding claims have not yet been settled and I won't continue as an "uninsured" patient. Also, the stress and efforts to resolve have exhausted me. I have since received medical follow up from the VA Medical Center at Bay Pines. I will amend this information with any future outcome .

They're very thorough with their screenings, they were informative of what's taking place, they let me know what they find and what has to be done. They sit down and tell you before they do any procedure, they describe what they found, what type of skin cancer it is and tell you what they're going to do, the procedure, and then they go ahead and do it after you okay it. It's just a surface cancer that has to be burned. It was very easy for me to be a patient of his. I'm with Tricare and he accepts Tricare, and I also have Medicare. I've been going to him for at least 3 years now. I never had an issue with him. I go to him every 6 months.

I've been seeing Dr. Albergo for a few years primarily because we live in Florida and I spent a fair amount of time in the sun. My most recent visit was the first time he's seen anything that was and quot;irregularand quot; and required removal. He identified the mole and removed it on the same visit as oppose to requiring me to schedule another appointment. Very quick, painless and convenient.
On all of my visits I spend little time in the waiting area and am taken back to see the doctor in 5 to 10 minutes. The office staff is very cordial. Dr. Albergo is friendly and not at all pretentious...very grounded. While I typically don't have many questions he does spend time addressing any concerns.
I've been happy with Dr. Albergo, his bedside manner and the offices ability to keep to the appointment time. I plan to continuing seeing Dr. Albergo for my annual check ups.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Ross. Dr. Amy Ross did the operations on the two areas. The operations went very well.
She is a very nice human being. She has fresh baked cookies right out of the oven in her waiting room.
Dr. Ross has sterling medical credentials. She is a Gator.

I made the appointment with no problem. I was seen within a week of first contact. It was for a general overview and to establish a baseline as I was not pleased with my previous dermatologist. I was seen within 5 minutes of arrival and taken back to the room. The Nurses/MAs were very nice and professional. Dr. Ross came in and looked me over. She was thorough and answered any questions. She proposed a biopsy of two sites on my back and described the process. I agreed and they did the work right then. She also advised that I see another doctor to be photographed due to my many abnormal moles.
Overall, she really seemed confident and went the extra mile. Now my wife and parents also go to her. I would highly recommend.
