    Anyone that doesn't like this doesn't like Chicago style pizza. I'm from Chicago, and I wanted to know if any place down here can hold a candle to what I eat back home. This taste's exactly like the mighty Uno's and Geno's in downtown  Chicago. Me and the fam had a stuffed sausage pizza with ricotta (not listed among the toppings but they accommodated). It was delicious. The dough is fresh made every day and the sausage tastes homemade as well. More than that, it was probably six dollars or so cheaper than I would have paid in Illinois.  It's nice to know that great stuffed pizza is one thing I won't have to leave behind.

    This was our first experience using Harr's market, we decided to try them based on one Angie's list review and several favorable Yahoo reviews. We liked the convenience of getting prime beef and seafood in one place.
    The day we ordered the Christmas items from Harr's, everything seemed fine. Place was crowded and ordering system seemed organized. Ordered items were entered into ledger books set up by pickup day requested. Prices were on the high side but prime beef and Maine lobster tails are not usually found on sale....
    Fast forward to 12/24/12 food pickup day. We arrived at Harr's at 9:30 am and followed the signs for and quot;order pickupand quot; which was located all the way in a corner of the market. They didn't need signs, I just needed to follow the long line of people (starting to show signs of impatience). After a half hour of zero line movement, Harr's shifted more store personnel to the special order line.
    Since I'm picturing our special orders packed neatly in numbered boxes awaiting our pickup, I cannot understand the delay. As we got closer to the front of the line, it became clear. It was total chaos. Harr's personnel were actually asking people and quot;what was in your order?and quot; as they shuffled through the order book. Orders were retrieved one item at a time from what seemed like different areas of the store. Several people were told that Harr's was and quot;all outand quot; of one or more items in their order, one woman left completely empty handed with no order items. We were fairly lucky: our beef was wrapped and ready, lobster tails were there but still needed the shells cracked (as ordered), Harr's was and quot;out ofand quot; the colossal shrimp and could only substitute jumbo shrimp which were neither cleaned or cooked. The Harr's special order system, based on my experience, is a total joke.
    Regarding food quality- the jumbo shrimp (even though we had to clean and cook) were excellent. The beef was ok but certainly not worth the $14 per pound charged (we've had better beef at Publix for a lot less). The lobster tails (at $14 per tail) were very disappointing.
    Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Harr's. We paid a premium for what we thought was premium food and service. We've gotten better service and quality from our local supermarket chain.

    My daughter Jodi met with Mary Ann Casale in January of 2008 at Avila County Club. Jodi is very hard to please (to say the least). When she met Mary Ann, she immediately knew she had to have the wedding of her dreams at Avila. Now understand, Avila was under a major renovation. There was scaffold and construction everywhere. But Mary Ann put her at ease and assured her everything would be perfect. As everything progressed at Avila from start to finish, we had a food tasting, which was absolutely fabulous. I got to meet Mary Ann at that time. She was wonderful. So warm and genuine. Everything she promised, she delivered on. We are so pleased with Avila, we wanted to share our good experience. Jodi's wedding was 5/10/08, it was perfect. The food was wonderful, the staff superb.

    It was very good. They use organic products, food was fresh, they were able to cater to special dietary, several people with allergies. They provided gluten free food. Very hard to find a gluten free provider. They catered for eighty people.

    The caterer did not prepare the chicken dish with out the beef broth as requested by the bride and therefore did not eat. The catering team came on time, but proceeded to smoke in my garage and needed to be managed. I told them to, but the garage door down when the guests start to arrive around 5 O'clock and they did not. I told the bartender no tip jar and he put it out anyway. They did not serve the champagne as specified and left it out for an hour before the bride handed it out herself. They did not refill water coffee or clear dishes promptly. My over all experience with them was sub standard. I will never use them again.
