    Eric was able to arrive early. He knew exactly what the problem was and was able to quickly fix it. He also addressed a problem with the electrical wiring when the dishwasher was originally installed that was a potential hazard. He is very professional and capable. I highly recommend their services for appliance repairs and I will definitely use them again for any repairs I may need in the future.

    Over the years we have had varying experiences with service companies and their technicians. Most have been acceptable. Others have been unpleasant. Our recent experience with James of Quality Appliance Service was exceptional. James first came out to diagnose our problem with our three year old Samsung refrigerator���s ice maker. Within minutes he identified the issue and let us know that a number of parts would have to be replaced. He ordered the parts on site and let us know it would be a couple of weeks before the parts would be available. When James returned with the needed parts, he set to work immediately and explained what he was doing as he went along. Of importance to us, James had ���sliders��� to protect our flooring. We have always had to provide our own protective coverings when the refrigerator needed to be pulled out. James was knowledgable, courteous, thoughtful and professional in his workmanship. We highly recommend Quality Appliance Service and especially James for your appliance repair needs.

    On the first visit he looked at the ice maker to see what the problem was and if he had the parts. Ordered the needed parts that day and said he would be back with the new parts once he received them and it would probably only be a couple days. First visit was on Tuesday and he returned on Friday with the new part and repaired our ice maker.$

    My Whirlpool washing machine broke over the New Year's Day holiday, when they were closed. I received a call the morning of January 2nd and was able to schedule a service call that same day. Service technician Jim was prompt, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. The repair was done very quickly. and my machine is now working better than it has in years. The price was very reasonable and far cheaper than replacing it with an inferior machine - it's old but a very good large capacity model. They do not make machines like this anymore and I'm extremely relieved to be able to keep using it. I also appreciate the 1 year warranty on the repair.

    We have an extended warranty on our Frigidaire dishwasher an the warranty company booked the repair with Appliance Specialty. The tech visited the first time in April and although not conversational said there were two controller boards that need to be replaced. He returned the following week, but only replaced one of the prescribed two circuit cards. No hiding anything...he was up front about it. We didn't care so long as it worked. Fast forward to May. More problems with the machine. Call the warranty company. They confirm Appliance Specialty charged them for two controllers. They notify Appliance Specialty who calls us. The woman on the phone was apologetic, and very nice saying they were a man down and would no be able to make it until the following Monday. Understandable. The tech gets the phone numbers mixed up and calls me by mistake, and I expressed my frustration firmly. I was not "mean" as my wife was told by the tech. As a matter of fact I asked people in the cubes next to me at work if I was harsh or was out of line because we all hear everything. I got feedback telling me no. I was firm but not mean. The Tech asks me if the machine is working and I told him I had to turn the breaker off because it would not stop draining no matter what. BUT, it was full of gremlins and who knows today if it will work. He tells me if it is working he has to charge me for the visit. Well...that did not sit well as it was warranty work and they did not fix it initially. I tell him this is the case, and he tells me I should have told him. HE CALLED ME! I would think the information would be there. When he showed up to the house it was exactly at the end of the 2 hour window. He asked my wife how she was doing. She jokingly said "fine" and "even better with a working dishwasher". Well...he said something smart and may wife took umbrage stating that if the other tech had not done a "half-assed" repair he would not have to be there. That was it. He got huffy and said she cursed at him and he was leaving. We called the warranty company because it is still not working, and thankfully they are sending another repair service today. By the way Banker's Warranty has been good to deal with. Honestly this experience may be an outlier, and who knows maybe the guy was just having a bad day. But, it was our experience.

    Very well!!! There was absolutely nothing wrong with my dishwasher. We were having our kitchen, bathrooms & hallways tiled. The company we used was horrendous but that's a different story for another day. The tiling under the legs of the dishwasher was uneven. They tiled one side with the leg sitting on the tile & left the other leg sitting on the concrete. The appliance tech pointed out all kinds of problems with the work that was done around & under the unit. He also pointed out issues with the work that was done in the rest of the kitchen, eating area as well as the hallways & bathrooms. He pointed out all the areas where poor work was done. Of course, we don't have the experience so we didn't pick up on many of the problemed areas. We identified the shoddy areas that were visible to the eye but he pointed out all the subtle areas that had poorly installed tile. He explained why having them repair all those areas, even though they were sublet imperfections, was important. He did not have to spend the extra time with us. He could have left after he added a small piece of tile under the opposing leg to balance the dishwasher. The promotion offered cost $49. Thank goodness the cost was so low. The dishwasher wasn't broken, just in unbalanced because of sloppy tile work by the installer. Because of the numerous issues I had with this company I am not @ liberty to name them. But NY has wonderful nicknames besides The Big Apple. I insisted the company reimburse me for all the damages & repair all the areas with shoddy work. In all fairness to the company, they honored my requests. One more thing, the appliance tech asked me if I had already paid for the offer. I said yes. He made a low pitched grunt along with a slightly annoyed face ( the only way I can describe it) & said ok. He didn't say it but I believe had I not paid in advance he wouldn't have charged me. He didn't repair anything. He just put a small piece of tile under the dishwashers leg. I have absolutely NO quarrels with having paid in advance. It was well worth it.
