I had a brain stem stroke. I went to Dr. Risoldi for left side back pain. My balance is worse since being seen by him. His protocol was for me to put my neck in a strangulation position. After the adjustment I would put weights on my head with another contraption to pull on my neck and stand on a vibe machine that would shake me. I was getting worse, but he wanted me to keep coming back three times a week. He also was supposed to do a full nutrition consultation which he never address saying, "He doesn't want to confuse me because I am working with someone else." He would over charge me by itemizing every process and was not forthright with his sales technique. After this protocol I have not been able to get my balance back. I am not sure where to turn for healing. I asked another chiropractor about the protocol Dr. Risoldi had me doing and I was told it could be very dangerous because of my history of having a brain stem stroke. I am also writing the medical licensing board because I feel Dr. Risoldi needs to be stopped. I feel like he is one of those doctors that just wants your money and not to heal you.

Dr. Mirabello repaired my right rotator cuff in April, 2016. Since surgery I have experienced more pain than before as well as weakness in my arm. I have revisited Dr. Mirabello and he has tried a few therapies that haven't worked. During one visit he became quite angry because I couldn't recall exactly where his assistant had given me an injection three months earlier. During my last visit he said that my symptoms were not surgical, whatever that means. The bottom line is, even though my pain is not surgical I now have more pain than before surgery. Given his credentials and experience, I believe Dr. Mirabello knows exactly what the problem is but doesn't want to deal with it because it is not high profit or he might need to admit that he made a mistake. His bedside manner is appalling.

My first encounter & visit went well. I scheduled a massage at their introductory rate with Jeff & received a truly wonderful massage. After driving both ways from Clearwater, I decided that the distance was too great to drive there routinely, so I didn't get a membership. A month later, I figured out how my husband could chauffeur me & called to schedule with Jeff. I was told that he didn't work there any longer. I asked if they had someone with whom I could schedule twice a week & was given the names of 2 people. Because the technique varies so from therapist to another, I requested that I be allowed to receive another massage at their introductory rate before making the decision about whether or not to join. I am not enthusiastic about authorizing automatic debiting from my credit card without being certain that I want the service on an ongoing basis. I have not found such contracts easy to break. My purpose in getting a massage is to decrease stress, not add another annoyance. The person with whom I spoke did not understand my concerns and coldly told me that I had to join or pay their nonmember rate of $90. She told me that this is their policy. I understand about policy. I have owned a service business for 35 years, speaking on the phone to hundreds of people. However, my first thought is always, "How can I help? How can I make this person's day brighter?" My tone & communication reflect this, even when I am telling someone that, for some reason, I can't service them. I give them advice; I ask one of my tech's to call if I don't know how to handle their issues; I refer them elsewhere- I help them in some way because they are important to me. I did not feel that I had any importance to this woman beyond getting my authorization to bang my credit card every month. I tried another call, another day, thinking perhaps I could speak to someone more understanding. Nope. This person told me that Jeff did still work there, but only every other Sunday. She had the same lack of warmth & care. My issue is not with the policy, but with the inflexibility of its application & the rudeness with which it was conveyed. This is not what I want. I want a complete, nice, relaxing encounter with all those involved. I don't want the hassle of untangling myself from a contract for a service I wasn't certain I even wanted to begin with.

Dr. B always spends the time to find out what pain I have & what contributes to it getting better or worse. She makes dietary & holistic suggestions before starting my acupuncture treatment. During the treatment. She always make sure I am comfortable –doesn’t let me leave until we have my chronic pain under control. She is a wonderful doctor who timely cares about her patients. Well being and her love & passion for her career is evident during every visit.

I will continue to use her. Most of the time it doesn't hurt. Sometimes what they do is they push on the area where they are going to put the needle in, and they push on it and massage it. It really kind of sends the blood away from the area so when they stick the needle on, I don't feel it. It really is neat. I have headaches. In the first treatment I went in for, she put 30 needles in. I really don't feel them. There are some treatments that she can give that I will feel it, but that one, no. I thought it was going to be painful but I took my uncle for back pain and my uncle now goes once a month. He has 4 compression fractures in his back. They are still there but he doesn't have a pain. My uncle was on some heavy duty medications. He was on health rehab for quite a while and we started taking him there while he was at the health rehab. He is 94. He is up there and of course he walks with a walker, but she really did help him out.

The waiting room was a surprise to my wife. Having never been here myself, I bought gift certificates online solely based on a couple Angie's List reviews about the massages and their overall business rating. The name of the place, "Massage and Wellness Spa," made me assume that it did in fact offer a spa-like environment. My wife assumed the same as I, but instead you enter into a stark receptionless waiting room with a few magazines to read; she initially thought she was in the wrong place. After waiting a while, she eventually just followed someone back as they went to their appointment and was finally greeted by someone that offered a small apology that nobody came to get her. The facial she received was average, but made less than relaxing because of the bright fluorescent lights shining down in her face from the ceiling. This felt to her like a more clinical experience. The massage she received was the "best she's ever had." It was her first sports massage with reflexology and some trigger point from a fellow marathon runner. This is the combination of massage to which I am accustomed from my own therapist, so it was nice for her to get and enjoy the same type of therapy. My wife's happiness with the quality of the massage completely saved the rating.

I've used the services of a popular physical therapy facility and while they were very nice, Nicole was able to achieve better results after 1 hour of massage versus 6 weeks of "therapy". Her services are not compensated by insurance which is unfortunate because her skills are very effective. I recommend her to anyone who is suffering from lymphatic blockage.

Scheduling an appointment was super easy. I was able to get in very quickly. I was extremely nervous but they had come very highly recommended by several of my friends. I was immediately put at ease by Brad and the people in the waiting room. Everyone was very friendly and it was very conversational which was great to put my nerves at ease. Once I got in the room Dr Teri came in a few minutes later and did a consultation, explained how the table works, the different noises the table makes so on and so forth. Again, really helping put me at ease. She then did my adjustment slowly and with lots of explanation. She gave me her recommendations on when I should return to reach my short term goals & long run goals.
They were completely different then anything I had heard about a chiropractor and I would recommend them to anyone I talk to!

Dr. He reviewed my paperwork and asked me about my health history.  She did an initial assessment and we discussed what I wanted to get out of my acupuncture sessions.

The goal is to decrease my headaches and wean me off of meds.  I have tried many different treatments, including Botox (the 32 injection regimen by my neurologist).

I started my acupuncture treatments twice a week for 5 weeks, and have decreased to once a week.  She has done traditional acupuncture, cupping, and acupuncture with electrical stimulation (which is working best for me).  My headaches have decreased in intensity and frequency and after the first week, I went 6 days without any fioricet at all (from taking fioricet every day for 15 years)!

Dr. He is a lifesaver and I wish that I had found her years ago!

They are absolutely wonderful. They help you if you have chronic pain issues. They have a lot of pieces of equipment to help you with that. It is a holistic approach to care. It is a good place. They treat chronic problems holistically. The office is set up really nicely. They have nice earthy music playing during your different therapies in the office. You can’t say it from the outside but once you go inside, it is really cool. I wouldn’t recommend them if they didn’t have good bedside manners.
