Electrician reviews in Palm Beach

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • In a perfect world things should go right the first time but when Hunter Douglas mangled my solar panels on 4 separate occasions so that they were "ruffled" around the edges, the owner Jeff hung in there till they were done correctly. They finally look like they were meant to and I could be happier with the panels and Well Dressed Windows for their service.

  • Superbly! The jobs were estimated properly, priced fairly and the work was done to our specifications. Jess Pitts, the owner of the company and Chip Weaver, his designer/salesman, were a pleasure to deal with, throughout the process. Their integrity and follow through was greatly appreciated, as was their attention to details.

  • The project included demolition of the old kitchen including removal of the old cabinets, appliances, ceiling and floor and the installation of new kitchen based on architect's plans detailing the new layout. The project was led by an architect who was on the company payroll and was mainly executed by a team of two contractors who demolished old kitchen, put new floor, walls and ceiling, did required plumbing and painting and installed the new appliances and the cabinets. A licensed electrician did all electric work including rewiring and installing the new light fixtures. An A/C guy helped rerouting an A/C duct. A granite company installed the countertop. All County offered a poor selection of cabinets and the architect's rendering of the new layout was poor quality. We used our own architect's rendering of the new layout and provided the cabinets. In addition, we provided the tiles, light and plumbing fixtures and appliances making partial use of a list of providers that All County provided. During the demolition phase all went without a glitch. Workers showed up on time and worked full days until they finished. Then there were some instances of poor coordination when either nobody showed up for work or they showed up late or everybody (electrician, A/C guy and the general contractor team) showed up at the same time stepping on each other's toes. Our presence all through the project to catch issues in infancy did make a difference to the better although we were discouraged from being in residence during the project. The one area where we were very unhappy was the granite work provided by the European Granite and Stone company. In spite of the few almost inevitable hick-ups my overall rating of All County is still very favorable and I would have no hesitation to recommend them to other people. .

  • Our experience with Family Electrical Services was a good one! We had a breaker for our master bathroom that was tripping a few times per week. They diagnosed the issue, identified the problem areas, and went right to work addressing them. He was also able to spot some other potential problem areas and fix them as well. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. He went above and beyond his duties (including helping me move a faulty stove). We will use Family Electrical Services again for any electrical repairs or projects and would recommend them to anyone.

  • They were fine. They came out and did the thing I asked them to do. They will be installing a ceiling unit that has a vent, light and heater all in one. They will be coming back to complete the work and have been responsive saying they would get back to me. They were also polite, friendly and just fine.

  • I was told on at leaast 2 occasions I didn't need a permit even though I explained the building department in Town told me I did. It's unfortunate they had a break-in & their tools were stolen. From my perspective the work required a screwdriver & wire cutters, which I could easily could have provided them. I felt like I got the brush off. I'm disapointed!!!

  • Well, I called my Plumber and he said it was a lost cause.  I called my Electrician and he said call a Plumber.  I called the people who made it and they said to call Watlington Property Police Inc. so I did.  John came out and took four screws out and pressed a button and fixed it.  I felt very simple, John called Jerry, He told John to disassemble the right heating element and clean it.  What the Heck, the thing was clogged with calcium and iron and this is what made my unit fail.  I am amazed at the knowledge of this crew.  While at my house Jerry and his crew fixed several other Electrical issues I had in minutes and further amazed me! I felt so silly and happy at the same time. LOL

  • Tim Daughtry is a terrific professional.  I'm picky, and I believe this is the first time I've given all A's for every single category of service.
    Rates:  reasonable
    User friendly
    Highly knowledgeable and professional
Honest -- I live in a upscale neighborhood.  Tim didn't try to jack up the price; he quoted his normal charges, which were quite reasonable.
Bottom line:  A great experience as a consumer.  It doesn't happen that often any more in the service business.  Tim stands out.
He'll definitely continue to have referrals and repeat business from his customers.

  •    Since I was here a couple of weeks I realised that the rain that was leaking off the roof was coming from the solar panels.  Advance Solar & Spa came out and spent three hours on my roof and they replaced a whole bunch of pipes and a whole bunch of elbows and then informed us that they have finished with the work. They did not even mention the bill or anything.  I gave the guy some lunch money because he was also very nice and spent the whole morning there. Even though it was part of the sale they worked for the man before me and as soon as I called up they said they would have somebody out here in three to five business days and they did that. When the guy came he said that there was a whole bunch of leaks and that he would fix them.  The previous guy spends $1500 and I spend nothing.  Price was covered by warranty. Quality wise it has stopped leaking.  I will use them in the future.
