I needed some painting and wood work on my home in Ormond Beach. I contact Richard from RS home solutions. Big mistake. His quote was 3-4 times more than other approved contractors though my HOA. I could not afford his obviously overly inflated prices. I guess it hurt his feelings because he is now harassing me by text (on the 4th of July) and phone months later. Others in my neighborhood are reporting similar questionable experiences with Richard. Our HOA is taking actions against his tactics. But this bully will only get his. I am contacting the state and Better Business Bureau about his probable price gouging. I'll be trespassing you from my property this week.

Miss managed the job from day one. The job was supposed to start the first week of June. Knowing thats the start date Richard came and got his check for the windows and cashed it. Low and behold end of June we wont have the windows for 8 weeks. If windows take 4-8 weeks then it should of been ordered much sooner. Now the windows will not come until Aug. 13 apparently. The only reason we chose him was because he was able to start sooner than some other companies.

Very well. The crew who did our work was wonderful. They were professional, worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. The gutter and downspouts they installed were done so well that they stood up to Hurricane Matthew which made a hard hit on the same side of our house as this repair.

The General Contractor john Boden worked within my budget, and performed the work within the time constraints my husband and I had.
I was very pleased. And look forward to working with Knj homes again.

    ASAP Gutters
When my roof was replaced in February the soffits and fascia were destroyed. I found ASAP on Angie's list and called for an appt as they had a very high rating. They responded and came by to give me a quote the same day.  The work began within a few weeks and it took two days to do the job. The job would have normally taken a day but I had rotten wood that had to be replaced. The soffis and fascia are nice a tight and much sturdier than the original I had done years prior. It looks beautiful.  The men who did the job were very friendly and professional. I'd recommend them to anyone.

    Creative Remodeling of Orlando
We are extremely pleased with the job done by Creative Remodeling of Orlando!
We had a few estimates for vinyl siding done and really wanted to see how the pricing of the Hardie Board compared since it's a better quality product and looks SO much better. On the Hardie website we found the referral for CRO and called for an estimate. Mark came out and was very patient in spending all the time we needed to get our many questions answered. He came a second time to go over even more details and we did not feel rushed. We were pleased to learn that they also did windows and decided to do that at the same time. What a pleasure to have just ONE company do all the scheduling and planning.
The windows are great and went in easier and quicker than I thought they would. They are a 100% improvement from the original single hung, builder grade we had.
The guys who did the windows and siding were always prompt and professional. If we had a question, they quickly got an answer. (A great upside to working with a small company!)  The owner, Mark, either came by the job or called daily to make sure all was going well.
We found the small difference in price of the Hardieboard to be WELL worth the improvement in the look of the house!!! If you think you can only afford vinyl PLEASE call Creative Remodeling and check out the Hardie board first!!

With one exception, it all went well.  But before the final touches were done it rained and there was a leak between gutter on the new roof and the wooden facia board on the house.  They tried to fix it several times by putting more sealant or "peel & stick" in the gutters, but it still leaked badly.  When the construction was complete they required final payment.  When I brought up that there was a leak they said "don't worry, will take care of it", so I pad them.  They did come out a few more times but they claimed the problem was that I had too many trees and the gutters filled up with leaves.  I believed them and I would go up on the roof just about every day with a blower to blow out the leaves. I have been doing that for seven years now.   It leaked even when the gutters were clean.  It leaked so bad I started calling my porch "Lake Severino". Then they said it must be the roof so they sent a roofer out who replaced several yards of my roof shingles.  The first time it rained after that, for some reason it did not leak (maybe the wind was blowing the other direction) so I agreed to pay for half the roof repair cost.  But the next time it rained it leaked again.  And it has been leaking for the past seven years.  I finally gave up calling them because they would not respond any more.  So I  I hired another company to cut two inches off of my rafters so they could replace the 5 inch gutter with 7 inch gutters.  In total, there are about 70 ft of gutters with only two downspouts. That replacement cost me several thousand dollars but it didn't help.
Finally, a  couple of  months ago I found the problem.  The leak is coming from up higher and quite a ways from where it was leaking into the porch.  The water was running down the slant of roof to a low point where it entered he inside.  I found it because some of the caulking came loose on the inside and exposed about a1/4 inch gap where the panels didn't fit correctly and were jsut caulked over.  I bought a tube of DAP sealant and slathered it around the cracks in the caulking I could see.  The improvement has been great, but not perfect.  It still leaks a little bit rather than like a waterfall.  During a steady rain I might get a half cup of water now where before I would get gallons and gallons.  It still needs a couple more tubes of caulking and I am not sure if one of the places I caulked over was an intentional drain.  I explained this to Bud and asked him to come out and look.  He gave a couple of short answers and said he would talk with his installer, but I have had no further response.
I love my porch, but I have felt like I was saddled with an incurable defect that could prevent me from selling my house.
One other thing, several months ago I contacted him to ask why the roof was shedding lots of tiny white stuff that looked like snow.  He didn't know and didn't seem to care.  Later another company told me it is bugs in the roof, possibly attracted by the saturated material.
All I ask of him is to come see the problem and to help squirt a couple of tubes of the right kind of caulk in the appropriate places.  I even offered to pay for that.  He continues to ignore me.

Budd Severino Advanced Home Exteriors Inc
After contacting this business I was told that if you were an investor and did not live in the property but used it as a rental, they would not accept credit card payments because they were afraid of charge backs.
On top of discriminating against owners and managers of rental properties, instead of their already high 25% deposit requirement, Budd Severino's company demands payment in full with cash or cashiers check!  No checks allowed by renatal property owners or managers.
After investing in the investment property arena for over 25 years I have never come across a company that demanded payment in full and refused to allow a customer to make payment by credit card or check because you did not live in the property.
I find this outrageous. I would like to warn anybody who owns rental property to realize that this company will refuse payment by credit card and demand payment in full in cash or cashiers check only. This takes away your rights to complain to your credit card company for work not performed or faulty workmanship. This is a very important protection that should not be taken away.
I will NEVER use this company.
