  • I'd had really good service from this repair firm once before. See my previous review about my LG refrigerator. So I didn't hesitate to call Royal for an estimate to fix my LG dryer. It still works manually but won't dry things using any of its preprogrammed settings, most likely a bad sensor. It is still under an extended warranty and I'm required to get an estimate. The person at Royal who handled my call just wasn't nice at all. I realize now that all appliance service companies work the same and that I'll have to pay out of pocket for an estimate and probably it won't be fixed the first time a service person comes out. That will all be covered by my warranty but it was the brusk and impolite manner of the woman at Royal that sent me to Rick's Appliance Repair instead.

  • Royal is an approved service provider for LG appliances and they went out of their way to solve a major issue we had with an LG refrigerator. It died twice in a two month period during the second year and Royal tech, Michael, diagnosed it as a leak of refrigerant within the sealed system. That kind of leak is not repairable but LG dragged the process of refunding the cost of this expensive appliance out for a full month. It took three service calls, even one from another service provider for a "second opinion". Then they brought Royal back to perform additional tests and photograph the results. The process was ridiculous and stressful and in the end, LG finally gave us our money back and reimbursed us for lost food items. Royal tech Michael, office manager Michelle, and dispatcher Shelia were professional and yet caring. I would not hesitate to call them for any large appliance repair. They were wonderful!

  • I was a bit pressed for time in getting the logo and business card to my door, so I was hoping the transaction would not hit any snags. From my initial contact to the card delivery, Category3 studios performed with the utmost professionalism. The unique logo and card design will make my business stand out. All communication was answered promptly and the cards were delivered in a matter of days. I couldn't have had a better experience.

  • Sammy Dijan is a very talented and creative Graphic Designer and I wholeheartedly recommend him. Sammy has vast experience working on all aspects of creative process from start to finish. He is also proficient on the latest versions of the most cutting edge design software and is excellent in making sure that I was totally satisfied with my new business cards. Sammy payed close attention to what I had in mind during our communication with each other and tried to capture the essence of my company in his original design. In other words, he doesn’t just create something that looks visually pleasing, but he also makes sure that it reflects my gifted craft, original custom woodworking artwork. Sammy would be a great hire!

  • Working with Doug was amazing! He is a very talented singer with a knack for breaking things down to teach all age levels regardless of past experience. He is patient with a great sense of humor. He is also very knowledgeable with use of the computer, creating files, setting up the video and audio, etc. He was even able to have a Christmas recital with all of his students together in a chat room while they each performed from their own home. It was fantastic! Doug is punctual, reliable, and runs a very reputable business. The convenience of having a quality lesson without having to drive to yet another place was priceless. I would highly recommend him.

  • The work that he did was fine and his prices were reasonable and fair. 
    The problem with him is he doesn't always show up when he is supposed to.  There were multiple times we had agreed he was going to show up and he didn't.  I had to call him to get him to come out. 
    The last couple of weeks I e-mailed him to try and get him to come over to replace some breakers for my hot water heater.  He initially replied but then never contacted me again.  I sent him two more follow up e-mails, no response. 
    I would stay away from him as he doesn't seem to have any interest in working with home owners.  I even referred him to a contractor that did some work for us and he never showed up for him either. 
    He apparently has all the business he needs and doesn't need yours.

  • I suddenly had to go to the hospital, leaving my two bunnies alone. I called Mary, who is a friend and had just begun her business, PawsXpress. I gave her the keys to my house and she took very good care of my bunnies, feeing them twice a day, cleaning their litter boxes and giving them their much needed love, treats and attention.

    They were very happy when I got home and I was very pleased with how well they had been cared for.
    I don't know what Mary's going rate is for that kind of service, but I think I got off very cheaply and really appreciated her good care of my bunnies!

  • Piano and credenza delivered yesterday. Our son says both were in excellent condition and was happy with the move. I thought the price was very good for a split load move and the timing couldn't have been better. Very pleased!!

  • Was referred to Willy Jay Deliveries by a delivery employee.  I called and explained that I needed a truck to move furniture from Miami to Daytona Beach.  James Nunnally, the owner, quoted a price for the truck.  He then asked how many pieces of furniture I had and when I gave him the answer he said that a truck would be too large and my furniture would fit in a trailer which would be $150 cheaper.  Pickup, one night storage and delivery of furniture was included in the quoted price.  We set a pickup date of 12/3/2013 between 12-2 pm.  I called the day before to confirm the details and price.  I was to pay $150 on pick-up and balance on delivery.  On 12/3 about 1:30 pm I received a call from the driver who was lost in Miami. His GPS had taken him to the right street but wrong area.  I gave them directions from where they were and it took them about another 30 minutes to find my house.  Two very pleasant, courteous young men arrived in a pick-up  truck pulling a trailer.  After viewing the furniture to be transported they began loading the trailer.   After all the furniture to be moved was loaded there was still room in the trailer.  One of the other services provided by this company is free removal/recycling of used or unwanted furniture.  Since I had several pieces of furniture that I wanted to get rid of they continued to load the trailer until it was full.  Delivery of the furniture was scheduled for the next day  in Daytona Beach.  I called Mr. Nunnally when I arrived in Daytona Beach and was told they would deliver my furniture within an hour which they did.  Again two very friendly, cvourteous young men unloaded the furniture and placed it in the house where I instructed.  They even moved a couple of things from one room to another for me.  All my furniture was accounted for and undamaged.  I paid the balance at that time.   After hearing moving horror stories of damaged and stolen possessions as well as items being held hostage for more money, I am so lucky to have found an honest and trustworthy moving company.

  • For the past 7 years I have enjoyed my Mitsubishi 65and quot; DLP TV. However disaster stuck when a lighting strike entered through the Cable TV line and damaged the mother board. By the way, they don't make DLP sets any more and parts are hard to find.
    I did a search on my PC and selected and quot;904-GET-TVDRand quot; in Jacksonville just up the road from my home. I made an appointment for a tech to check out the set. At first the color wheel was thought to be causing the picture color mix up seen on the screen but after more testing the mother board became the culprit. Now where to find one? Fortunately 904-GET-TVDR cornered one in California and suggested I purchase it and call them to install it.
    After the installation the tech discovered the old mother board was not the correct on for my 65and quot; but was a board for a 57and quot; model. In addition they had suggested I get a HDMI cable to connect to the Cable box instead of using the RCA cables I was using. When all was connected: POW - A FANTASTIC HD PICTUR JUMPED ONTO THE SCREEN!
    I can't thank 904 - GET-TVDR enough for the professional way they went about solving the problem and finding the correct board I needed. They were honest and fair about the cost and went out to find what I needed. They didn't drop me because parts are so hard to find. If they had dropped me I was looking at a $2,300 replacement.
