Joe's Plumbing & Custom Home Repair, Inc.
Joe's work was great !! Very professional. Any problem he ran into, he let me know right away to decide what I wanted. Overall a gentleman who knows his work. His workmanship is great quality. He was very knowledgable in his proffession. His estimate for the work I thought was very fair and better than some other estimates I received. He was prompt and on schedule. We needed to make arrangements for him to come another day to replace a part he did not have in stock. He came on the day he told me and called before to let me know when. When his work was completed each time the room he worked in was cleaned up nicely. He took my old fixtures for an extremely good price to get rid of them for me. His total cost for the project came in under his estimate. I am very pleased with the work he performed for me and I would definatly hire him again in the future for any jobs I need done that he does, even if not plumbing. I am very happy with his work and I will be using him in the future.

    Alternate Design Plumbing Inc
Frank arrived on time, friendly and professional, Very good at explaining what he had to do, as the fixture that held the toilet in place was broken and needed to be replaced, before replacing new toilet. Removed garbage disposal in sink and replaced with trap. Job completed in 5 hours, Would use again...

    Tri County Septic Services
Called on Monday get a quote and a time frame for when they can come out. The man on the phone was a little too short with his responses but we scheduled the pump out anyways. Was told between 10-12 on Tuesday. No one showed up. At around 3 I called them to see what was going on and he said there was a issue with scheduling and didn't know where they were but he would see and call me back. Never received a call back. Very disappointed with this company. I had hope with all the good reviews I had read before calling them. Would not recommend.

They are clean, thorough and fantastic to work with. I can't recomend them highly enough. In fact, I found something called a toilevator because I was moving my mother in with me and she needed the toilet to be higher and we couldn't find the right height. She wanted it to be 19 inches high and we couldn't find any that are made 19 inches high anymore. So, I called this plumber that came recommended to me from a friend and told him about that. He said he didn't know anything about it but he would take a look and let me know. So, he did some research online and he got right back to me 3 days later or less and said he can do that. He can put that in. I would give him the highest rating all the way down. I have used him several times. He completely replumbed my kitchen and both of my bathrooms. He was here two years ago. That is when he did all of this major work, but I have used him several times. I would use him again in a heart beat. He has repaired clogs, he has replaced garbage disposals, he has reconfigured the plumbing in my kitchen and both of my bathrooms. He installed a toilevator on one of my toilets so the toilet was sitting on a platform. He has installed 2 toilets, 3 sinks, replaced 2 tubs with a shower. He is an expert in his field. He is thorough. I wouldn't give him anything but an A for everything.

An A straight down for everything. That is when he elevated the toilet. He put in the platform or the toilevator. It elevates the toilet 4 inches above the floor so that people with bad knees are able to get up and get down with a little bit of more ease. It was for my mom. She was still alive and she was almost 90.

    James Evans Well Drilling
Evans is a small, family owned business. They take care of their customers. They called me back after normal 9-5 hours to try and schedule a time to come out the next day. They came out just as promised and after checking out the issue, it was determined that it wasn't a switch or valve issue, ect., but needed the pump removed and replaced. They left and were back a few hours later with the new pump and had it installed that afternoon. These are the guys you want to call!

    Four Towns Plumbing Inc
I called 4 Towns because my regular plumbing company was booked up for a week, and 4 Towns sent someone the next day. Plumber was on time and seemed professional. I left him alone to do his work. I shouldn't have. I had to call back within a week because I had two leaks. The plumber came back promptly and fixed the leaks, except that was only part of the problem. During installation of the replacement system (pre and post filters in sump housings and a large main filter), the plumber did not flush the main unit per the manufacturer instructions and did not install the pre and post filters correctly. I discovered this when during periodic replacement of some filters (3 months), I investigated the cause of some downstream filters (undercounter drinking water, etc.) becoming inundated with carbon fines. I went to the main whole-house unit. Opening the post filter housing required way too much effort for a new installation (the housings are supposed to be hand tightened, and this required two wrenches and bracing blocks before it finally broke loose). I discovered that the O-ring had not been lubricated when the post filter was installed, and the O-ring was so stretched out of shape that it was almost amazing that the housing didn't leak. He must have put a lot of torque on that thing. These housings are smooth as butter when the O-ring has been lubricated. But that's not all. The plastic top of the filter itself was deformed (squashed) from not being aligned properly, This meant that the water from the main filter (remember that the main filter had not been flushed properly) was bypassing the post filter and going untreated into the house. The pre filter was mis-installed the same way, stretched O-ring and damage to the top of the filter itself. The manufacturer sent some replacement O-rings (turns out they're standard Pentek), and I replaced both the pre and post filters, as well as the downstream filters that had been contaminated by carbon fines as a precaution. All is good now, except that there's another leak in the installation of the piping, but no way am I calling these guys again. I'm aware that the plumber who did my work is one of several or many working under this company's umbrella, and maybe those others are responsible for all the great reviews, but do you want to take the chance that you'll get the guy who did my work?

    Tri County Septic Services

I listed my home for sale 2.5 years ago. Even though the septic field had been working fine without problems Tri County failed the septic inspection meaning I would have to replace the field to sell the home. I lost the sale. Then I got a second opinion and the field passed just fine. I took the house off the market and rented it. The septic system has been working correctly, no problems before or since. Beware if your field works properly and a company fails it, get a second opinion.

    Latow Brothers Plumbing Inc
Dennis from Latow came out and discovered the electrical cable to the system was cut.  He replaced the cable at no charge and made sure system regenerated.  I have used Latow in the past for replacing sinks, faucets and shut off valves.  I have always found all of their employees to be respectful, courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat
