    Karoly Windows & Doors
I obtained about 8 bids to install hurricane standard windows and doors. Karolyn was the last bid and ended up about 10% below the next lowest bidder. It was a pretty big job with 17 windows and three large sliding doors. The ordering process and subsequent installation went exactly as promised. We were very pleased with the workmanship and overall buying experience. I highly recommend this company!

    Karoly Windows & Doors
Karolys team was efficient and professional. They installed 12 windows and two sets of sliding glass doors. The windows and doors look awesome. The team made sure they cleaned up before leaving each day and finished on schedule. Im now going to get a entry door and outer side door installed by Karoly.

    Crystal Clear Windows & Doors
Excellent. Great communication throughout the process. Professional and friendly. Very respectful of me, my property and time. Their experience shows from when I ordered throughout the manufacturing process to the actual removal of old and installation of my new door and clean up. I am very happy and highly recommend.

    Bozarth Contractors
No word from Bozarth regarding our refund. Since Rich showed up but did could not finish the job, we don't see why should Bozarth be holding all $300 of our money. Chuck's excuse was that they ordered the product right away. Why? Because we paid them a hefty 50% down payment - that was why they ordered it right away so we would not cancel the order. He said that they stored our doors for over 6 months. Fact is- The doors were ordered in Dec and ready for pick up in June. The first call was scheduled for March. So where is the 6 months' storage as argued? If we had known that there was a problem with the storage we would not have gone with Bozarth. We had told Austin from the start that this is a custom manufactured home and since we were told that it would take about two months to have the custom doors ready we went ahead and ordered it. No mention of additional fees were charged when we signed the contract. Austin wanted our business and wanted us to sign the contract and pay the down payment. No mention of storage fees etc. All of a sudden Chuck is using that as an excuse to hold our $300 payment when it was labor for trimming the doors. The storage of the doors had nothing to do with the $300. Chuck, Please have your facts clear. Rich had been to our house a few times simply because Rich was not able to complete the door the first time. The second time when he was, he found the opening was bigger than expected. The third time he showed up late so he could not do anything. So was it our fault for him not being able to finish the door the first time? If he had finished the doors in one day he would have found out that the opening was larger and we would be able to address it immediately. When he called us the second time we were out of town so we had to call the builder to check with the manufacturer. Yes, Bozarth did not need to trim the doors but it was not for free. We were charged $300 but work that had not been performed. Upon checking we found that the front door was rubbing against each other. So the installation is not up to perfection as argued.

    Home Performance Alliance Inc
The order went well, I was going out of town and needed a set schedule, I had numerous questions and they got back to me without issues. After the install, I needed some adjustments, they sent someone over and he had to get some extra supplies to complete it. But I liked the fact that I didn't have to be rescheduled he got it done that day, I was satisfied with that.

Steve was punctual and efficient. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I had a few questions a week or so after he left and he kindly took the time to help me. The doors are all working perfectly now. I would DEFINITELY recommend him.

Abraham and his associate did a quality job. What a difference they made! Now, the door is easy to open and sliding smoothly. Their customer service was top-notch and I will definitely call on them in the future.

    Dwayne Faulkner - TNT Carpentry
Dwayne was professional, prompt, and courteous.  Dwayne responded via email promptly and was on time to meet at the house and begin work.  Dwayne finished the job in less time than projected and throughout the work was quiet, neat, and professional.  The wall was seamless with the rest of the house, one would not be able to tell that it was not original.  I would highly recommend Dwayne and his services.  As a side note, we did contact other contractors and carpenters; Dwayne was hands down the best price and the most responsive with follow through.

Jim did a great job.  The sliding mechanisms in four windows were broken. I received an estimate for $4000 to replace them.  I found Mr. Pro who quoted me $75 each to repair them.  I had two doors that didn't close properly and the front door needed weather stripping replaced.  Jim did all the work in less than 2 hours.  I am very satisfied. It is awesome to open the windows in March before the heat sets in.  Will definitely call Jim again and refer him to friends and neighbors.

    Practical Windows & Doors
A project that began with the sales person in March, finally concluded on Wednesday, October 28th - approximately 7 months!  What happened?  Interesting things:
    1. Delay #1: Eastern moved their factory, so the product was initially promised for the end of May but finally showed up in June.
    • Delay #2: Scheduling the installation was a challenge.  Between my schedule, the installers, and the rain it is a miracle that the windows did get installed.
    • Delay #3: After windows were delivered, there was no process for reviewing the product before the windows were installed.  Unfortunately there was a mix-up where a double-hung window was ordered, when it should have been a picture window, and a double-hung window was installed instead of a picture window.  The mistake was discovered after the double-hung window was installed. ALL assumed that the order was correct!
    • Delay #4: It took two months for the picture window to be made and delivered.  The installers finally arrived on Wednesday, October 28th to install the correct window.
What was missing in the overall process, was "Good Communication Skills."  That is, I had to call Practical Doors & Windows to find out what was happening.  Even though they knew that Eastern products would be delayed I was not informed until I asked the question.  No process to review/approve each window before they would be installed. Even with the installation of the final window, I needed to call in order to find out when it would be scheduled.
The installers were good.  However, as they worked if they discovered an issue or created an issue, it was not reported.  For example:  One window had a water stain on the inside.  It was when I cleaned the new window that I discovered the water stain.  House siding was damaged and patched, but not reported.  There was a promise that the house siding would be replaced.  That still has NOT happened!
Am I happy with the Eastern windows?  Yes!  The installers did do a good job.  But I've learned that when a project of this nature is taken on, the company that is coordinating the project needs to be a TOP NOTCH communicator.  Practical Doors and Windows needs to improve in this area, especially when an incident happens that they have no control over.  The customer needs to be informed as soon as possible that the schedule has changed because of an event they they could not change.
