    Assured Storm Protection LLC
    4 weeks later and I'm still waiting on my quote! Robert came out to the house 4/24, took measurements for both impact windows/doors and accordion shutters. The quote(s) came 5 days later on 4/29, however the quote for the impact glass was missing over half of the house windows. I contacted Robert shortly thereafter and he said he must have gotten the measurements mixed up and he'd have to come out again to remeasure. He did that the following week on 5/3 and told us he'd have the quote within a day or 2. I waited just over a week and still no quote from him. I finally followed up with both a phone call and a text message on 5/16; he had to recount how many windows I have. Again said he'd get me the quote that evening. Still no quote today 5/24. I guess we'll go with another company. Disappointing because others seemed to have a good experience with this company- I can't event get a quote! C grades are because he was nice and friendly, texted me about our appointment and showed up on time to measure. Just terrible follow-through.

    Everybody provides a service that they want to get paid for I don't argue that but when the person is trying to contact the company that send them to collections so that they can get a better idea of what monies has been paid and that company refuses to give the customer what a customer is asking for, I find that extremely unprofessional and extremely bad business. If the customer owes you the money and they are asking for a full itemized list of all the monies that they have paid you why should that be so difficult when doctors offices are supposedly very attentive with the bills and statements that they send to their patients. Why should the patient get the round around when all they're trying to do is satisfy the bill that your office sent them to collections for if you were quick enough to send the customer to collections and they want to take care of the bill then you should be as quick enough and give them the paperwork but they're requesting so they can go ahead and make sure that the board hand in fact has not been paid for.

    The facility was taken over by Public Storage a few years ago. Before that it was Stor-All. Stor-all was wonderful, clean and secure. Now the place is really dirty. Telling someone about it does no good. I have not seen any live bugs, so that is a plus.
    I must add that this place appeared in the Palm Beach Post "Neighborhood Post", "POLICE BLOTTER", PAGE 2,  dated January 14, 2016. Apparently someone tried to steal a valuable painting while a woman was clearing out her things. THE AMAZING THING IS THAT THE PERP WAS SOMEONE "WHO MAY LIVE IN ONE OF THE UNITS".

    Pilot Pressure Cleaning
    At 5:30pm the night before the scheduled installation I received an email and it said the following:
    "Thank you for your interest.  I am currently out of town and we are out of stock.  It only takes 7 days to get in our new order.  To secure your order and install we will need to contact you tomorrow to collect payment.  As soon as your brackets are in we will schedule your install around your schedule.  Please let me know if you have any questions."   Adam
    SERIOUSLY? Adam who? There was no last name on the email! 
    In addition, when I looked at their website again for Angie's list info for this review, the photos were changed and now the brackets are different and suddenly "proprietary"....Ridiculous. 
    Someone will call me and take my credit card info via phone and then they will get my brackets? I would NEVER do that! South Florida is filled with scammers.  How could we know this isn't another? Can't even find their address!

    On the VERY professional website it's "we" this and that.  Including a photo of a woman on a headset with this caption:
    "Friendly Customer Service:Having a thorough knowledge of our industry, experience with our products, and being able to help our customers make the best choices allows us to efficiently and thoroughly help with our friendly customer service".
    If not a scam this is simply a 1 man show trying to appear as a larger business working through a 3rd party online appointment scheduler.  He takes people's orders, pays for supplies with their money, then schedules when he wants. Not fair to waste people's time!

    Guardian Storm Protection
    We are part time residents so it is always difficult to schedule work.  The Guardian sales representative showed up at the appointed time to meet with me.  He measured the space for the estimate and provided an estimate late that evening.  They were one of three prices I solicited.  The price was reasonable and based on Angie's list, I awarded the job to them.  Since we were leaving in a few days, they were able to rearrange their schedule so that they could measure the balcony for fabrication.  Coordination with Shelly on the paperwork for Condo Association approval and the building permit was seamless.  Installation was coordinated via e-mail for our next trip.  The installation team showed up on time and within a few hours the shutters were installed.  The cleaned up all of their installation debris and let the balcony very clean. The installers showed me how to open and close the shutters and a few tips to make operation easier. Again due to time constraints, they were able to coordinate the building inspector for a day after the installation.
    I highly recommend using them.

    My husband and I trust the CC and all of our doctors are in the clinic.
    The only problem in going there is that with certain doctors you must wait a long time to see one, although alternative doctors are suggested for you. The CC is aware of this problem and is working to fix it.

    They were absolutely excellent. I liked the attentiveness and care. They made sure that everything was okay with me. They really worked with me. I can't even complain. I had flat lined; they kept me alive. That gives them a lot of credit. I really liked them. I would definitely use them again in the future.

    Smart Phone Fixer
    Refreshing Service in the phone industry! With a broken phone and insurance I headed to my local AT&T store on Congress. I was given very little help and even told "they don't have phone" there. I headed to Metro PCS looking for a replacement phone until I could figure out what to do. Thankfully they told me about "Smart Phone Fixer" in the same plaza. And thank goodness. They we're able to tell me what was wrong with my phone and instead of giving me a bunch of bull, they first tried to loan me a phone and then gave me a very inexpensive solution (go to Walmart and buy a GoPhone the AT&T to replace sim card). They didn't ask me for a penny. AT&T could have easily done this for me when I first walked in, but they we're more interested in selling me internet or TV service. Unbelievable! Thank you to everyone at Smart Phone Fixer. I will use you for all my phone "fixing" needs from here on out! I HIGHLY recommend this place. Please tell your friends. We can not let these small good businesses get ignored because of big business around the corner!

    Cantor's Driving School
    Although the instructor was friendly and talkative, he was not up to the task. I didn't feel that he had the skills to teach an adult who had never operated a motor vehicle before. He did not make me feel comfortable or confident in the vehicle, and he talked as well as listened to the radio the entire time. This is a dangerous error when the person behind the wheel has zero experience. Overall, I felt that the lesson was a waste of money, and the 'services' could have been provided by anyone with a driver's license.
    Again, friendly and polite does not an instructor make. Have not gone back, and never will.

    Received quotes from multiple hurricane shutter companies and Assured Storm protection had not only the best price but there product sample and operation seemed superior to other vendors.  Also company has a very good warranty 10yrs parts and 2yrs labor.
    Sales rep was very friendly and fully knowledgeable about his product. He explained all aspects of the product, installation procedures and assured us that all would be fitted properly and to our liking. He also assured us that they could install and have building inspector approval and sign-off before we had to head back up north.
    Received a call with-in 2 days after contract signing from Assured Storm Protection engineer who scheduled appointment to measure the area to be protected. When he arrived he was also very friendly and knowledgable about how the shutters would be installed and went over all aspects of the installation giving us an option for a removable lower track which we went with so when we're in So Florida it could be easily removed.
     Once product was manufactured (approx 2.5 weeks from contract) we received a call to schedule installation. Installer was very friendly and careful when bringing product into our condo and did most of the cutting outside off premises to minimize dirt and metal filings generated by the cuts. When completed the installer broom cleaned the entire area and provided brief lessons on how to use the product, what to watch out for and steps to take for product maintenance and longevity.
    In closing I will call Assured Storm protection for quotes and installation of their storm products on any future homes I purchase in the area.
