    Abel was great to work with. He gave us an estimate over the phone based on some photos, which was convenient, but we ended up paying a bit more than estimated, due to complications with the job. The work was great though and we're happy with the service. Abel and his partner were professional and were able to install a dryer vent for us very quickly- they were able to adjust their schedule to fit us in asap, which was appreciated. Able was responsive and professional.

    I called and spoke with Harry yesterday; I wanted to get a quote for new/replacement of insulation in the attic of our newly purchased (but old) home. I told him I worked during the week, but lived close enough to meet him over my lunch break. He scheduled an appointment to meet me at my house today at noon. He made sure to get my cell phone number. I arrived home at 12:01 PM, but he hadn't arrived yet. I waited 15 minutes. Still no show. I called both office numbers, no answer and "voice mail box full" so I couldn't even leave a message. I waited another 15 minutes, now over 30 minutes late for our appointment, called again, still no answer. I left work to meet this person at my home which is difficult to do, and not only did he not show, but didn't have the decency to call and let me know. Really disappointed in the lack of professionalism, especially because he was very nice on the phone and for the most part, this company seemed reputable and had good customer reviews. I understand things come up, but not calling...it's rude and unprofessional.

    They came on December 12th and I paid a deposit for them to buy the material and come on December 14th. Sometime after I went to bed on December 13th the tech who was supposed to come the next day told me they wouldn't be able to make it until December 15th, I already took December 14th off work (loss of income for me) and I could not take any other days off. I wrote them asking to refund me my money since no service or goods were provided. On December 16th I received confirmation of refund pending (up to 10 days to process). Still hasn't been done. It's now March 10, 2018. I am about to file a complaint with Florida Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. I told the owner back in December I didn't want to give him a smear campaign but it is going to turn into one if they don't finish processing my refund. No services. No goods were provided. They were quick to charge my money and refuse to refund me now. BAD practices. BAD business.

    My appointment was originally scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m., I called at 11:45 a.m. to confirm so I took the afternoon off without pay. At 3:50 in the afternoon I got a call from the office wanting to reschedule my appointment till Friday. I could not take anymore time off of work and had to work Friday and Saturday. After being put on hold I was told that someone will be out between 5 and 8 p.m. At 6:03 I got a phone call and a text if I send me the technician was on his way so I raced home from my volunteering gig. And the tech did not show up till 8:30 p.m. He quickly identified the reason why the air conditioner wasn't working and repaired some wiring. He promised me somebody would be out the next day which was Thanksgiving Day. The tech was clearly tired from having worked a long day but did not lose his demeanor while working on my unit in the dark. Much to my surprise Dennis showed up promptly at 8:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning he worked for approximately one hour replacing the motor that needed to be replaced. I was extremely appreciative of him coming out on a holiday morning, and thanks to Dennis he saved Thanksgiving for us. We never really like the price we have to pay for a service and it was unavoidable for me this week

    Abel got back the same day as I made the inquiry (It took two days for the other provider to get back with me so I went with Abel even though the price quoted was about the same). Abel was professional, got the job done quick and cleaned up afterward like he was never there. Good job. The only reason I gave a B rating is due to the fact he went to our home rather than the rental property that needed the work. Consequently the project was delayed an 1-1/2 hours because he had to drive to the correct location. Prior to the job I had indicate in my email dialog to make sure to go to the correct property.

    The day after we got electricity back on after Hurricane Irma we were welcomed with an air conditioner that would not cool. Prestige arrived a few hours after calling them on a busy Sunday and quickly assessed the problem. By Monday morning comfort had returned. Although I expect every A/C company to show up and say the same thing "It'll cost $9,000 and 4 weeks to fix or we can sell you a new unit." In this case the unit was installed 14 years ago and it was truly time to move on. Prestige gave me a great price on a unit and got it installed right away. The workers were professional and it was obvious they took pride in their work and respected the company and owner. As a nice bonus, the new unit also came with a free preventive maintenance visit within the first year. I definitely recommend them and would use them again.

    Having used other local A/C contractors in the past that I was unsatisfied with I started looking for a new AC contractor. I was extremely happy once I met Kyle who owns My A/C Guy. Kyle is a straight shooter who knows his HVAC. He diagnosed my problem and was able to fix it promptly without having to come back a 2nd or 3rd time. He also checked with me a few days later to ensure all was working as expected. I now use Kyle and the My A/C Guy team for HVAC maintenance and repairs on all my properties in SE Florida. If you want an A/C contractor who's honest, fair, knows how to fix all HVAC problems and shows up when scheduled then you want My A/C Guy in your list of home contractors.

    It went very well.  My unit is on the roof and the air handler is in the attac with very limited access.  K.C. made a trip to Home Depot to have plywood cut to size so that he had somewhere to crawl in the attic space.  He placed the plywood up in the attic and made it much safer for access.  I have three unit total and he did this for all three attics and only charged me for the actual wood itself. 

    He is very efficient and kind in dealing with a customer and I really appreciate him.  Does great work, fast and efficient.
