Rene came out to check what we wanted and provided us with a quote. We scheduled him to do the work. He showed up when he said he would and went right to work. He had to alternate between the bathroom and kitchen to allow for the drywall compound to dry. While waiting for the bathroom he patched and skimmed the holes in the kitchen ceiling. He then applied two coats of paint to both ceilings. He was very efficient and professional. He cleaned up when he was done. I could not see where the ceiling had been patched. He did a fantastic job. I would hire Rene again without hesitation.

It was November 2015, and I had walked into some serious water damage in my Florida home after a brief absence.  I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Josiah Kapp.  He was quick to make an assessment.  He took samples to send to the lab and test for mold.  Indeed, the next day, he confirmed I had a mold issue and advised me to sleep elsewhere.  But I was leaving town again in a few days and was at a huge disadvantage to leave and relocate.  He then proceeded to bring in 2 big fans that would keep the air quality clean and greatly reduce any chances of developing headaches and such.  I left 2 days later for business, and they quickly started the work soon after.  A few walls would have to be taken down, remove all mold, and rebuild.  He assured me that all furniture would be covered. Not a speck of dusk would be found once done.  The paint  job would also be done better than when they started the work.  He is a man of his word!! I walked into my home a month later, and everything was in excellent condition.  The work was impeccable.  The costumer service from Mr. Kapp was above and beyond excellent.  He was pleasant and explained all the work thoroughly.  He provided before, during and after pictures of the work while I was absent.  The work provided by Mr Kapp and his workers was Grade A+. I highly recommend his services for all home renovations needed due to damages.

    Southern Sky Painting
I really enjoyed Sherry's attention to detail when setting up my appointment with Bob. Bob came out to do our estimate and he was very kind and helpful in pointing out several small things they can do to enhance the paint job and help our house look fantastic. What a professional team and I highly recommend Southern Sky Painting.

    Eddie's Home Repair

Eddie came out, explained how he would do the work, quoted a price and a date to begin work.  He showed up on time each day, performed the work efficiently, and cleaned up before leaving for the day.  Eddie demonstrated pride in his work and accommodated our needs when we needed access to the area in which he was working. I hired him a second time when I needed a large outdoor area to be power washed.  Again, he came when promised and worked steady.

Meltini Kitchen & Bath Boynton Beach
We worked with Andy at Meltini and from the first meeting at our house my wife and I felt very comfortable as he is extremely knowledgeable and has a very keen eye to detail and great ideas in terms of design.  The pricing was slightly higher than other companies we had met with but with that said you get what you pay for; this isn?t a fly by night company and having a showroom made us feel all the more comfortable.  The day we signed the contract there was a woman there with Chris the owner who mentioned to us that they were working on the 3rd bathroom that Meltini had done for her, to us that just confirmed we picked the right company for this major renovation. They give you an actual schedule that they actually stick to, it?s pretty amazing, since we moved into our house 3 years ago we have done several projects and never ever did we receive a schedule that was actually accurate.  Mario and his team did the whole gut job of removing everything, the drywall and laying of the new floor and were great, Bob the cabinet installer was great as well; the whole team who worked on our house were clean, respectful and did tremendous work.  During the process Andy would come in and check up on progress, on a few different occasions he had them redo or fix certain details and what he deemed ?unacceptable? as like I said in the beginning he has a keen eye and is not afraid to take a step back when needed.   The one negative that I will mention and I have said something to Andy about is painting, in our contract everything was broken out line by line but the one thing I didn?t think about or I just expected was that Meltini would paint the ceiling and walls after the demo; that is not the case.  We were able to resolve the issue and work through it but make sure if you want them to paint it is in the contract.  I read another review about them being there late, yes this did happen to us during the first couple of days during demo usually til 6-7pm but what I dont undertsand is dont you want them to stay on schedule and finish?  We did not mind and this did happen but to us they were busting their tails and keeping us on track as you will soon find out it is not easy living without a kitchen so be prepared and again not sure why someone would complain about it.  Lastly the contract and price you agree to is what you will pay, this isn?t HGTV with $10,000 surprises.  I think Andy underestimated the amount of work in our renovation, actually just ask him and I am sure he will give a brief explanation!  But he didn?t come chasing after us mid way through, like I have heard so many times from friends, the price is the price and they stood by our agreement as we definitely found some surprises given the age of our home.  We love our kitchen and it looks amazing, complete transformation of our home and our friends and family who come over cannot believe it?s the same home.  I would highly recommend Andy and the Meltini team and I know he does have some photos of our kitchen so don?t hesitate to ask, if I could upload to Angie's I would. They will definitely be doing our 2 bathrooms in the months to come and we will be using them again.

    Preventive Maintenance Support Services Inc
We had some work done in our backyard, and the prior company hit the side of our house while digging and took a big chunk of stucco out of it.
On another note, we also had a big crack in our chimney. So, we needed to find a company that could do some stucco repair on our home.
I found Preventative Maintenance on Angie's List and they had a lot of excellent reviews. I can see why.  Sherry was very professional and courteous.  She scheduled me right away to have someone come out and give me an estimate.  Kris came out and took a look. He said the wall was no problem, but the chimney could be a huge problem because if too much water had gotten behind the crack, then the chimney could be rotten. They wouldn't know until they opened it up.  Early the next day I received a very detailed written estimate via e-mail on what procedures would be done. I was happy they were going to take on the project considering how small it was.
Sherry was able to get me on the schedule for early the following week.  The crew came out and ripped the outer layer of the chimney off and, thankfully, the wood on the interior was not rotten. The water had not penetrated through.  They pretty much rebuilt my chimney. They were also able to take one of the chips of my chimney to the paint store to get a paint match!
They sent a gentleman back the next day who repaired my wall, and painted everything.
They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and hauled away all the old debris!  (Thank you, thank you, thank you!)
All I can say is they did an outstanding job.  I will definitely use them in the future if I need to have work done.  I didn't know how I was going to get these things repaired and I was expecting a painful experience.  They made this a very pleasant experience. I appreciate them taking on such a small project!

    Mark Ryan Restoration
We hired Mark Ryan Restoration to take out a couple walls, remove a bathroom that included removing shower, toilet, sink which was next to our kitchen to enlarge the kitchen area. Then, refinish the area to make it part of the kitchen, which included dry walling, building out a wall to cover exposed plumbing, and extending the sofft over the existing kitchen sink area, as well as patch the ceiling where the wall was, and finish window area.
Mark Collins, the owner, did some of the work but most of it was done by his worker. Mark oversaw the job and was conscientious about keeping things moving and correct. They had to work around our floor restoration schedule which they did very well. They were careful to clean up well and even though we were not living in the house at the time, they were very good about keeping the site under control. When his worker forgot some instructions and made some mistakes Mark was quick to make it right with us.
They did a good job. Mark is honest, dependable and flexible. I recommend them and will use them for further work on our house.

Larry Seebach Painting & Custom Textures
He was very busy (I guess the Angie's List  special got a lot of business) and called to say he couldn't get to me for a few weeks.  Then he called and set up an appointment and forgot about it.  I didn't appreciate clearing my day and being disappointed, and if I hadn't called him to see what happened, I'm not sure what would have happened.  When he finally called me that he could do the work, the only day that I had available due to my husband's chemo schedule, was one where he wasn't available.  But he sent someone who does work for him.  Rick was very prompt, very pleasant and as I said obviously was a professional.  If I were to hire this company again, I would probably ask him to send Rick.
