    We ordered a TV console, 2 piers and bridge from Rooms to Go. The first delivery was 07/14/2015 the console had a lot of damage. They left it here at the house and said they would redeliver a new console here today, 07/21/2015. When they arrived with this console  and it was also damaged and we refused to have it brought in to the house. 
    I am extremely frustrated this company, They have no idea how disruptive it is for people to have to rearrange their schedules, take their electronic equipment apart and then have a defective piece of furniture redelivered. We did arrange to have it re-delivered on Saturday, 07/25/2015 but I work night shift so it will be delivered in the middle of my sleep time. 
    • When speaking to customer service I find that they all blame each other and when all else fails the delivery person, who they also hire under separate contract, so in actually, they work for them.  I told them that if this 3rd console is damaged that I would not except it and would ask for my money back. They informed me that they only give store credit......they did say they would waive the delivery fee but that really did not make this customer happy.

    This is the second time I have used Rooms to GO and both experiences have been unpleasant. The first time we had many broken promises on delivery of all of our items and a broken chair within a few months.  Why would I want a store credit?  So I am an unhappy consumer and would really caution anyone from shopping here.

    Our experience was so different from the prior 2 reviews that we felt we needed to leave a review.   We visited the Kane's Furniture in Ocala in May, 2013.  We dealt with Diana.  We found what we thought was the perfect dining room set and accessories for a new sunroom we were adding onto our home.  We put down a deposit and were told to call when the room was nearing completion.  At that time we thought it would be about 5 weeks.  As the project progressed we re-designed the room and changed the goals for the room, all of which took additional time.  I received 2 calls from Diana asking how everything was going and reminding me to contact her when we were close to completion.  In the end, we so totally changed what we were doing that the furniture which was perfect in May, was no longer perfect come early August.  We made 1 call to Diana to explain the situation.  She agreed that the furniture would not work with the revisions we made and within 2-3 days, a refund of our deposit posted to our account.  We consider that fantastic service.  We would use Kane's again and definitely would use Diana.

    Last year I purchased a mattress from Blockers. I spent more than $1000 on it on sale. I was not happy with the service that I received because they waited till I had purchased the mattress to tell me that they could not deliver it till the following week. Then they said they would let me know when the mattress would be delivered and they did not contact me for 2 weeks. I finally contacted them and got my mattress delivered. I was pleased with the mattress until about 6 months later my husband and I noticed that the mattress was collapsing. The head of the bed was collapsing and when you laid on the mattress you were laying with your feet elevated. While laying on the mattress your upper body would sink down at least 6 inches. I contacted Blockers and they said they would send someone out to check it out. They did send someone who measured the mattress with no one in the bed. why would you measure the mattress with no one laying on it. Isn't the purpose of the mattress for comfortable sleeping? But he did say that said the box springs were defective and they would give Blockers the info and it was up to Blockers as to whether they would replace the mattress. Blockers was real quick to tell me that nothing was wrong with the mattress according to industry standards and they would not do anything. I would not buy from this store again. They do not stand behind what they sell. Why buy from a local family owned company who has no integrity.

    I had to stand my ground in order to get them to deliver a replacement that was undamaged. They acted like I was unreasonable when I demanded a replacement. For crying out loud, one of the shelves wouldn't fit because the hole for the bracket was in the wrong place.

    Our overall experience has been HORRIBLE to say the least. We work hard and we spent a large chunk of money on a furniture set that we thought was a good purchase. Turned out to be the worst purchase we'd ever made.  Waiting 10 months for service or staff that cares is absolutely unacceptable.  I finally had to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau. The day after I filed the complaint, a woman called me from Kanes (of course).  She was unbelievably rude! She actually attempted to tell me that they were working with us as a COURTESY and really weren't supposed to have ordered the arm repair materials to begin with.  Um....What??????  She was one of the store's MANAGERS, talking to me like I was scum.  She continued to be rude and argue with me. I insisted that she let me explain what has been happening in the past 10 months since she was new and obviously didn't know the history. She didn't listen to a word I said and I believe she held the phone away from her head until I was done talking. She then got back on the phone and said..."ok, can I talk now??"  as sarcastically as she possibly could.  I simply said "don't bother" and I had to hang up.  I am enraged by this company's complete lack of care or interest in quality and customer satisfaction.  I am posting my story every where that I can to let everyone know what could happen to them if they shop at Kanes.  I have found 100's of reviews that are stating similar stories of bad products with even worse customer service.

    I have purchased furniture from Blocker's several times. Last time was at the beginning of this month. Salesman was exceptinally professional and personable. He gave me time to think and make my own decisions about this purchase. Delivery is in two parts. The bedroom furniture was delivered on time. The delivery men were very acommodating, moving several pieces of existing furniture to other locations in my home and carefully placing the remainder of the old furniture in the garage very neatly. The new items were placed and moved without complaint until I was satisfied with their location.
    The second part was ordered and should be in next week.  Blocker's should provide training to other companies on how to treat their customers.  As previously stated, I have used Blocker's before and I wil certainly use them again.  It was an extremely good experience.
