    Moreno Spine & Scoliosis
His availability was a C, he is so busy but that's good. The office environment is extremely busy and the chairs are hard. His bedside manner is amazing. He's very upfront and honest. My husband is a cop and he's back on street, just like how he did before, only better. For him one thing we learned is that, when you go in for a surgeon, you want a surgeon that does this as little as possible, you don't want an aggressive surgeon, you want a surgeon that he said to us, and I guess this is right, because of my experience, he said, you want a doctor to do as little or you would rather him go in twice, than go in once and go in too intense, and that's exactly what happened to me. So you'd rather him go in twice, like not get it all and then go back versus overkill. So he went in, and get as little as possible he does minimally invasive as he can be, and he did a phenomenal.

    Tampa Bay Orthopaedic Specialists
My husband was having back pain and was seen by Dr. Sharf, who was very professional and good in the care that hegave.  What was nice is that he wasn't trying to rush to do any surgery, but rather went the route of an MRI, then medicationfor pain and physical therapy.  The care was very good and they have a nice comfortable office, but we still had to pay about$800.00 out of pocket costs after the insurance paid for the MRI and other costs.  This is more of a reflection of the stateof health care insurance these days rather than the health care itself.

He's a very nice man and he makes you feel comfortable which is important. He talks to you and treats you more like a friend and a normal person rather than as a patient.

I've used them many times before. The doctor is proficient and very detailed. He has an excellent reputation and he has performed surgery on me very successfully. I will absolutely continue to see them.

    Corrective Therapy
At Corrective Therapy, Frank Pugni does exactly this. He not only gets you out of pain, but he addresses the cause of the condition. Furthermore, Frank educated me on body mechanics and ergonomics, some key factors in keeping me pain free. Frank also taught me how to do some simple exercises at home that were specific to my condition. Frank not only treated my pain and the cause of my condition, but also educated me how to stay pain free. I would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing any kind of pain. By the way, his website www.correctivetherapy.net is full of information along with a patient testimonial video. If you play the video, you can hear what some of his other patients have to say. If you want to rid yourself of pain, go see Frank at Corrective Therapy. He will correct your problem.

    Davidson, Dr. J Byron
Office visit was for a new patient, I recently moved to the Tampa area and needed a follow up for a prior neck injury. Dr. Davidson had great bedside manner. However the wait time was almost two hours. I was told they were running late although it was not until I inquired was I advised of the wait time and then I was told the wait time would be longer then usual. He referred me for an updated MRI and I returned to see in in one week. The wait time was much shorter this time but I still waited 45 min and then was seen by the PA who reviewed my MRI results. To Dr. Davidson's credit he did review my consult with the PA prior to me leaving the office. The PA was knowledgable and also had a great bedside manner. I agreed with both of their treatment plan and was discharged to a PRN status. I would and will go back should my neck symptoms arise again in the future. All in all I would recommend Dr. Davidson.

    Moreno Spine & Scoliosis
I have suffered from sciatica for almost ten years, but it has been under control for most of that time. In late June, it hit me so severely that I could not stand up for more than one to two minutes without collapsing from the pain. I saw a chiropractor for about a week and got no results whatsoever. He suggested a very expensive (almost $5000.00) series of treatments on a decompression table. Although this was not covered by insurance, he assured me that was the way to go. Although this treatment may or may not have been effective, I felt like I was being pressured into it and I didn't like that approach. I chose to see Dr. Anthony Moreno at the Moreno Spine and Scoliosis Center, in Safety Harbor. I was first interviewed and examined by a physician's assistant and then I met with Dr. Moreno. Even though my MRI showed multiple herniated and bulging discs, Dr. Moreno suggested a conservative approach. He suggested physical therapy as a first option, with surgery as the very last option. It was obvious that Dr. Moreno's primary concern is doing what is best for his patient. I started therapy with his physical therapist, Yvonne Spinelli, the following Monday, and I could start to feel improvement after the first visit. After three weeks of Yvonne's expert therapy, I feel like a new person. Of course, I have to do a series of stretches and exercises every day, but it is so worth it to feelgood again. It is such a great feeling to know that there are dedicated professionals like Yvonne and Dr. Moreno there to help us when we need it. I am very grateful to have found you both. Thank you so much.

    Neustadt, Dr. Jeffrey B
It is a pediatric group and they are excellent. He is one of the best in the field for what he does. He is very competent. Everything is good about him. I don't have anything negative to say about him. I can't even think of anything bad about him; everything is good. We would see him again.

    Shim, Dr. John H
The surgery was fine, but something went wrong somewhere either in the procedure or the anesthesia and my eyes were crossed for 3-4 months. My back has been alright and I give Dr. Shim high ratings on all counts.
