Real Estate Agent reviews in North Miami Beach

Melissa did an outstanding job, incredibly professional, and walked me through all aspects of the home selling process from her research, setting up the pictures, open house, excellent recommendations, inspections, and closing. What was nice, she was always there when I had any questions, big or small, so easy to work with, her focus and attention to detail, and she made the process of selling very streamlined, because it was on target and a great experience overall. I would recommend her to anyone, she is just excellent.

Melissa is an indefatigable professional and worth every penny of her hire. I had no expectation of securing such a good price for our sale, or for it to go as smoothly as it did. She was helpful and knowledgeable about staging and preparing our property for sale, and skillful in facilitating providers to prepare the grounds, and a company to handling the closing. I can only assume that she communicated with our buyer with the same competence and kindness. This feels like a chapter of our lives well written and happily concluded.

Chad Gray was my agent as a first time homebuyer and I am so thankful to have had him on my team! He was amazing and even recommended/provided me with my loan officer, who was also amazing. On multiple occasions I have ventured down the home buyer road and working with Chad was a dream come true. He was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, professional and patient. He answered all my questions, and believe me as a first time homebuyer I had a ton. I would absolutely recommend Chad Gray!!! Thanks again for everything, I can't thank you enough.

After explaining to me that she was a "top producer," she took too long to refer me to someone else as she couldn't come up with proper comparables. That someone else took another week to get back to me. I finally found another realtor to list quickly and help me with any final updates on the property.

Melissa was professional from our moment of contact through the closing of our condo.  We contacted her in June 2015 and our condo was sold in early September.
She met with us, heard our thoughts and requests and offered her expertise in the listing and selling process.  She brought in a photographer who did an outstanding job on presenting our home.  She worked with our condo administrators, who were difficult to work with, in a professional manner.  She handled the closing and made it an easy process for us to manage from another state without having to be in Florida.
Do consider Melissa to represent your real estate interests.  We are completely satisfied with her service and highly recommend her.

I originally contacted Melissa Adams at RE/MAX through Angie's List and she responded back immediately to discuss what I needed and to schedule a time to work with me. Melissa's attention to detail in her assessment was excellent and right on cue and she listed the property quickly and competitively, and literally, within a week, we were coordinating with the buyer. I would say one of the most important things is she makes you comfortable to work with her, she listens to you, and if I had a question she was always there to answer it and take the time to explain it if I needed.  Also, just as I reached out to her, as she received news or information she reached out to me in person and/or by e-mail to keep me fully aware. Melissa also provided me with any paperwork right then, everything was kept organized, and what was nice is she was very conscientious to both me and also when responding to the buyer/parties from the start to personally working with me at the closing. From my perspective this what customer service is and Melissa provided it, and I feel this actually expedited the sale not just for me, but for the buyer as well.

Melissa was a true professional and went the extra mile for us. She was always willing to accommodate our schedules and was so pleasant. A welcome and refreshing change from previous realtor experiences.

Elisa resides in the same luxury beach-front building as the condo we were trying to sell - this was my father's home.
She began to contact us in the Spring of 2014 after we moved my father out of his unit to live with us on the other side of the country - he was having health problems.  We told her that we'd get back in touch once we knew where things were going, but that it probably would not be until the end of that year until we had a better idea.
When we decided to wanted to list the place for sale, we considered working with her because of her local knowledge, but it quickly became apparent that she was someone who didn't have our interests at the forefront.  She was intent on impressing us with how quickly she could sell the unit without first trying to understand what we wanted out of the transaction.  Several times she made comments like: "the market's really hot right now, so you need to get this listed right away - I've got a buyer ready right now who'll offer a million dollars."
As I carefully researched the options for realtors on Angie's list, I decided to travel to Miami to meet with a couple of the most-highly rated professionals.  I realized oddly that Elisa didn't have any reviews on Angie's list.  The interviews went well, and I chose a realtor who was really spectacular - down to earth, sincere, and interested in making things go smoothly for me.
After that decision was made, Elisa kept contacting me, even though I let her know I had chosen another realtor.  Once she found out who the listing agent would be, she then tried to convince me he couldn't handle the listing "because his office is so far away."
Within a couple of months, the condo was refurbished and ready for listing, and - even though she knew there was a listing agent - she then contacted me directly (not through our realtor): "I've got a buyer in town, and she's just about to leave, but she'd like to see your place right now so she can make a million dollar offer."
Her unprofessional conduct and high-pressure sales tactics were abhorrent in my opinion, and she impugns the reputation of realtors.  It gave me great pleasure that our place listed for only three weeks, sold for an extremely favorable price ($250,000 more than what she proposed her "million dollar buyer" thought it was worth), and I had the peace of mind working with another realtor instead who was a joy to work with.
I write very few negative reviews, but unprofessionalism needs to be called out: a spade is spade.  For anyone contemplating working with Elisa Wagner: caveat emptor.

From start to finish Lucas was top drawer.  He met with me for an interview when I was in town for a visit, and he impressed me right away with his punctuality, sincerity, accessibility/responsiveness, and problem-solving ability - he clearly indicated from the start that he wanted to make things as easy for me as possible.  He helped consider every aspect of the preparation of the property and the listing, and there were some significant logistical issues as I live all the way across the country - this included such actions on his part as coordinating the refurbishing of the property to make it ready for sale (it definitely needed work), his wife (an interior decorator/designer) went shopping to get new bed sheets and towels to spruce the place up, he got some very attractive professional photos done for the listing (this unit looked so much better on the internet than most of the other properties in the same category, which for peculiar reasons had poorly done, gloomy photos to represent million dollar properties - go figure!  can't bake a cake without cracking eggs), and Lucas himself moved out the last few things during the hustle and bustle of a fairly quick sale - only on the market for 21 days.  His interpersonal savvy in terms of choosing the right people to get the work done in a timely manner was much appreciated.
There are a lot of charlatans out there in this market who are keen on a quick sale - we had one realtor (in the same building as our condo) guarantee she had a "buyer with a million dollar offer", but it was apparent from the get-go that she was interested in a sale, but not interested in us, and what we wanted.  Lucas however did his homework when it came to the listing price.  Even though the unit will need a bit of work (the kitchen and the bathrooms need updating, as still original), the final sale price was very favorable compared to other sold and still-listed properties, and it sold for quite a bit more than what (quick-sale) realtors wanted to list for.  It even closed two weeks earlier than expected.
I was honestly a little unsure at first that I'd chosen the right realtor to work with, but only because his base of operations was relatively far away from the condo.  Lucas however proved that this distance was not even once an issue, and so in the end I was very happy that I trusted my gut instinct that he was the best person to have on our side.  There may be a better realtor out there, but I doubt it.
