I was exceptionally pleased with Zee's professionalism. He is very friendly. I enjoyed having him in my home as my contractor. He explained everything to me. Before coming, Zee phoned me to advise me his is on his way. I needed a second visit due to the need to replace the tracks. On both days, Zee was super punctual. I wish I could have given him an A+.

    Shaya, Mark MD
My mom lives in Fort Myers and we traveled 2 hours over to Miami to be treated by Dr. Mark Shaya because this was the doctor we wanted to cure my mom of her pain from spinal stenosis! Let me just tell you he gave her, her life back. She woke up the very next day after a 2nd laminectomy performed 8 months later by Dr. Shaya and he fixed the problem immediately!!! So much for the first one performed by a different Dr. in N.Y. EPIC failure!!! Dr. Shaya and his amazing magical fingers worked his magic and he cured her of a bulging disc and nerve pain shooting down both legs. The very next day my mom was pain free in the legs and just normal soreness as a result of surgery. Before surgery I researched 4 doctors for her to see and Dr. Shaya was the second doctor and after visiting with him there was no reason to see anyone else!!!! He is so down to earth, calm and just knows his stuff. Amazing bedside manner just makes the patient feel safe and comfortable!! He explained exactly what needed to be done, recommended an amazing hospital-(North Shore Hospital of Miami) The Passionate Quality Care given by this hospital was amazing!!! From the time you walked through the door the staff was there to take care of all of your needs!! It was just a wonderful experience!!!!!! Not too many doctors can do that in Florida!! As a result of researching doctors in Fl. we learned you have to go with the doctor with the best patient reviews!!! I am happy to report that if you are a candidate with spinal stenosis or spine problems you can’t go wrong with this dual certified surgeon his office staff is amazing gets you in right away to take care of the problem. Dr. Shaya and his staff are very prompt in their responses to their patients. I called the office at 6:20 am expecting to get the doctors service and to leave a message and the actual Dr. picked up to say “hello, how can I help you” at 6:20 a.m. it was amazing!!!!! I expressed my concern and he said he would see me later that morning because he had another surgery to perform!!! Two hours later he was in my mom’s hospital room to answer any questions/concerns that we had. This doctor was accessible by email and phone anytime during the day. This doctor is a master craftsmanship in his expertise what a GEM!!!! He is all about the care for the patient from the start to the finish!!! He’s not about the $$$$ his main concern is always the PATIENT and their well-being!!!!! My mom could not find a Dr. with these fine qualities in Fort Myers!!!! Clearly he is the “DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH”. You need to look no more-he is the answer to your problems!!!!! He gave my mom her life back at the age of 74.

    Shaya, Mark MD
Very well. It has been a little over 30 days since the operation. My recovery has been exactly as Dr Shaya said it would. I am most impressed by Dr Shaya's skill however his excellent communication with me was most impressive. Not your typical leave a message that either doesn't get returned or takes so long you forgot the question. He is very accessible and prompt about returning calls. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shaya without hesitation. Also, the office staff is the same way. Prompt and considerate. If you need help with neuroscience this is your guy. I believe he holds special merit certificates and has held different educational positions in neuroscience. I could not be more pleased with him and his office.

    Dr SHI Acupuncture Center
Very well. The pain I was having was making everything complicated... walk the dogs, work, everything. I know it may come back but for now, I am pain free. When I asked my doctor why she never recommended acupuncture (as after I told her my story she said that of course it could help), her answer was that 1. was not a service covered by my insurance but also 2. You have to find a real/ good acupuncturist and there is too many 'not really good professionals' in the field. She told me that I clearly got myself a good one, and I agree wholeheartedly. I was desperate due to my pain so being able to not have it anymore has been a great relief.

Dr. Cantor first operated on my father's neck and after he recovered, operated on his lower back. He skillfully performed a very delicate operation on a very old and fragile patient. My father just celebrated his 91st birthday. He is active, able to walk and no longer in danger of becoming paralyzed. I would recommend Dr. Cantor to anyone who needs back surgery.

    Christopher Brown MD,FAAOS
During my first appointment in March 2011, Dr. Brown reviewed my MRI showing me my problem areas but said there were other treatments we needed to try before even discussing surgery.  He referred me to a pain management doctor.  We went through the exercising and epidural shots but they only lasted for a few days.  Both doctors were conferring with each other during the process.  Dr. Brown recommended a nerve block to try to pinpoint the problem.  After the nerve block and 5 months later, Dr. Brown recommended a 2 level laminectomy in July, L4/L5 and S1/L5 regions.  Once again, he showed us on the MRI and props exactly what he believed the problems to be.  He also said I should get other opinions before making a decision.  I did and the diagnosis from the other doctor was exactly what Dr. Brown told us.  I finally made the decision for surgery and it was August 10th.  During the pre-op appointment with him, I had 2 full pages of questions that he answered.  While I was being prepped for surgery, Dr. Brown came in, asked if I was ready or had any other questions and that he would see me after surgery, I spoke with every major player before surgery.  A very positive, upbeat morning, starting with the staff at the hospital to me going into surgery.  I couldn't have asked for a better experience.  When I woke up, he was the first person I remember seeing, all smiles and he was so reassuring, everything went as planned.  It was the best decision I'd made.  I had no pain in my leg (which was the objective) and very little from the incision.  I didn't even need pain medicine.  I was up and walking the next morning.  I saw Dr. Brown 5 days later in his office to remove the staples.  Everything was healing good.  My post-op visits were scheduled about every 3 weeks.  Within 4 weeks I was walking 2 miles.  After 6-7 weeks I started physical therapy to build my muscles and stabilization of the spine.  I've been released by Dr. Brown but if there are any problems he said to call him.  In my opinion, Dr. Brown is the best!

They did hands on manipulation and gave me several exercises that helped to relieve the pain. I have had this problem for awhile and this has been the most helpful. Also, the price was great. I would recommend the physical therapy building as well.

He is quiet man, but he is very professional. He tries to help his patients and he takes time with them to diagnose the problem. If he isn't the doctor for that problem he will refer you to one. All of his staff is efficient. He refers you to the best of the best.
