Do Tire Patches Work?

Tire Buying And Repair reviews in North Fort Myers

Charlie and CB at Bayshore have been taking care of our cars and motorhome for over seven years.  They have always been honest and fair with us.  My spouse is disabled and I am not mechanically inclined so I have to rely on their word and work to keep our vehicles in good, safe working order.  They have always come through, even if it meant sending me somewhere else when they didn't have the expertise to provide a needed repair.

On a recent oil change and tire rotation, they noticed the brake pads were getting thin on our SUV.  They told me a percentage of how much of the brake pad was left and an estimate of how many more miles I could go on them before there could be a problem allowing me to make the decision of whether to replace them or not.

High quality, trustworthy mechanics are rare so I feel fortunate to have these guys close by.  I highly recommend them.

    Tire Discount
They did not ask which tires I wanted, they just put 4 tires on my car.  Within 30 minutes 2 were completely flat.  I have had those two changed, or so they said.  I now have to put air in my tires every day.

    JR'S Auto Clinic Inc
The service took about 40 minutes.  I liked everything, the people and owner, they are honest upfront and quick.  I'm in and I'm out.  I'd tell my friend that they  would provide fabulous service and good work.

I like them very much. That's where I always go unless I'm stuck. The office environment is nice, clean and they give you coffee, cookies or doughnuts every time you go there. I recommend them to friends and family members all the time.

    Rick Johnson Auto & Tire
I had taken it into a different provider who could not find the nail. Rick Johnson found the nail right away and patched the tire. They also cleaned all of my tires. They are very nice and have reasonable prices. They also have coupons that you can use on your auto services as well as manager specials. My daughter has also gone there to get her oil changed and tires rotated.

i have four expensive Goodyear tires on my vehicle so i went to the Cape store as i had developed a problem and I was worried i had a tire that might blow out when my daughter drove the vehicle to work that night to her overnight job at SWFL Airport.  It also caused a wobble in the steering. They were open for three more hours and i offered to wait as long a necessary so a tech could just check the tires and tell me if it was safe for her to drive.  I explained I was worried about her safety and i could wait as long as necessary until they could at least take a look.  They said because i didnt have an appointment and were busy they would not look at it, period..

I was told to arrive at 8:00AM and would be taken first come first serve. Arrived at 7:50 and was processed and taken right away.  Total time 35 minutes.  They have a waiting area w/coffee.  Snack machine empty, McDonald's very close as are 2 gas stations with food.  I brought coffee and breakfast sandwich with me, news paper available.  People very friendly and willing to answer any and all questions.  All together a very pleasant experience.

    Wilson's Automotive
Our car had a shimmy and the auto repair shop that we had previously taken the car said we had a bad spindle. They said the repair would cost us $325! We asked a friend where to go to for a second opinion and they said Wilson's.
So we went, we told them upfront we thought something was wrong with the frontend. They took the car for a quick test drive, put it up on the hoist and a few minutes later it was determined that our tires didn't have the proper weights on them.  We drove out of there with a car that felt new again.
Yes, I most definitely will use them again. Going from $325 to $66 was a real eye opener on how easy it is to be scammed.

    Midas Greenwood

This website is current and updated as recently as yesterday. This particular franchisee owns more than one franchise in the Central Indiana area, all of which have complaints posted.

If you are already a victim, please notify any/all consumer protection agencies. It should be noted that this particular MIDAS location has settled 5 complaints (through the assistance of the BBB) within the past 12 months. Imagine how many go unreported? Another resource is Attorney General, Greg Zoellers office. The primary purpose of his position is to investigate complaints and protect the citizens of Indiana against fraudulent activities.

Sadly, we will be forced to replace the defective tires sold to us by MIDAS with a reputable company at our own cost and yet more inconvenience. The tires have only a slight amount of wear on them but we will not risk what could result in a tragedy of catastrophic proportion for any passenger riding in this vehicle. To say we have been inconvenienced doesnt begin to describe the scope or the potential risk to our family, any passengers, etc.

My daughter had purchased two new tires in Tampa from Tires Plus. When I drove her car I realized it needed work - probably balancing the new tires. Brought it to local Tires Plus, who wanted $450 to make their warranted work right. I had recently found that John Peterson (the JP in JP's) had moved to the listed location and had his own shop. We have worked with John for at least 15 years and always found him to be honest and thorough. He did the needed work for $100 less, with better tires, than the warranty at Tires Plus.
