Job went extremely well. He showed up to give me a quote within a day of calling him (would have been same day but i was not available). Price was extremely reasonable. He was available to do the work as soon as i wanted. Team came out on time, worked quickly and did a great job. He was very professional and courteous. I immediately asked for a quote for another job - irrigation, which he went ahead and did that same day. i will be using this company again.

    Landscape By Design
We had a general concept of what we wanted to do. Mark and his team did a great job of helping us sharpen our focus, decide on details and execute them beautifully. The project involved a lot of different elements. Obviously, we had to choose plants and how to arrange them (their suggestions were excellent) but we also wanted to make extensive use of stone. Mark and Corey were very helpful in making the right choices. They helped us correct some persistent drainage problems, which were made worse by the loss of 3 large oak trees that had to be removed as a result of Hurricane Irma. They installed a french drain in the front and added drip irrigation in areas where we had sprinklers before. We also wanted to add accent lighting and we were determined not to create the runway effect that you get when you use lights from the big box stores. It required some trial and error but the final result is splendid, especially in front where they were able to add a particular accent light that gives the property a small, unique feature. Getting it done required some imagination and ingenuity on their part. I also want to commend the crew for the job they did on our edging, both in front and in back. Again, we weren't interested in going with the run-of-the-mill stuff from the box store. Instead, we used natural stone that called on the crew to do a lot of cutting and fitting and fastening. It's not easy to find a company willing to do this in the first place, much less do a bang up job. Landscape Design really came through for us. In front they added a series of large, flat stones to form a short pathway that we had envisioned leading at an angle from the front walk to the front yard. These stones were set in a bed of pebbles, all of which lie between natural stone edging on both sides of the pathway. The job is very well done and I think the most sincere compliment we've heard about it came from a contractor who is doing some work on our interior. He wanted to know where we got the large, flat stones because he wanted to execute a similar idea on his property. Finally, I also want to mention a pair of trellises that they built at the corner of our pool cage. We already had a double palm planted there so they sort of framed it by building a 6x4 trellis on either side (they put a light on the opposite side of the palm, too, which backlights it in the evening -beautiful!). Again, using a little imagination, they suggested we go with brown lattice, rather than white. You might not think something like that would make a big difference but it really does. The jasmine they planted is thriving, too, having already climbed halfway to the top of each trellis. It's going to be a wonderful addition to that area as it fills in. My only criticism is that some of the plants they installed were very small. I think they could have gone with larger ones to reduce the amount of time we'll need to wait for the project to fill in. In summary, if you've got a vision that involves some uncommon and unconventional elements, Landscape Design is the right outfit to hire. I'm sure they do very well on more common jobs, too. If you hire them, I would encourage you to let them be creative. You won't regret it.

    Bay Area Landscape LLC
I ordered an Angie's List deal for 3 CY of mulch delivered and installed. They were a previous award winner, and the deal was good, so I figured why not. This was back in May 2017. Order went in, and they said they would call to schedule us. Got a call the next week from a female, said they were busy fulfilling the deal, and then scheduled us for a day the next week. Was raining the day we were scheduled, nothing was delivered, we figured they'd show up in the next day or two. We went on vacation, came back, and still no delivery. I called them to reschedule, and this time a male answered what sounded like a cell phone. He said he did not recognize my order but would check in the office and get back to me. Waiting a few days, no response. Contacted again, said we'd be scheduled. Nothing. Contacted again, said we were on the schedule for the next week (no specific date, just "next week"). After that week came and went without delivery, I contacted them and Angie's List to cancel the order and process my refund. So for two months I never had any work completed, and was issued my refund.

    Plantformation
Seed pods not removed from palm trees, with landscaper telling us they needed to stay to provide nutrients for the tree (cannot verify that fact with any other landscaper, arborist, tree trimmer, online search). rock not completed, colors of plants were incorrect, spacing was off, and when we showed the landscaper, he moved plants but they are still incorrect. 3-4 plants were dead within a week, and now there are 4 more dying. Landscaper estimated number of plants incorrectly (evidently to save money), then argued about what we discussed with him multiple times. He was defensive, did not show up when promised, rescheduled 2-3 times, and now does not respond to phone calls or text messages. He has no idea how much money he has lost on future work we had planned for him (thousands of dollars).

    Detailed Landscaping, LLC
My newly purchased home has been unattended for years with no yard work completed what so ever. I called Detailed Landscaping and within 24 hours they were at my house. They managed to mow the yard that was almost 4 ft. Tall., They also picked up all the leaves, removed all grass clumps, weeded my flower beds, mulched, and installed new plants and flowers along the walkway to my front door. They did a very good job for a reasonable price! Highly recommended, I will be defiantly be using them again. 10 stars.

    Seabreeze Ground Maintenance
I cannot say enough positive things about Nick and his team at Seabreeze. The cost of his work was in line with other estimates, but his professionalism was above and beyond. His team was prompt, polite, hardworking and meticulous about their work. I recommend Nick without hesitation.

    Artistic Ground View Landscaping Design
Marc came and gave us an estimate for the above work . He was very knowledgeable and had some great suggestions. He returned a second time to review scope of work, very helpful ! We agreed to have the work done and a start date. The work started before the date with George & Gary removing the bark mulch and doing the prep work did a great job, very hard workers!! The next day Marc,George,Gary & John showed up to install the curbing and rock. They worked up to dark and did a fabulous job, looks better than we envisioned. On Monday Marc & Gary came to install plants and clean up. We could not be happier with the work done.Special thanks to Marc did what he said they would do when they said they would do it ! !

    EXPERIENCE TREE SERVICE CORPORATION
I contacted Grand View to get a estimate on insatlling curbing around my subbery and flower beds. Marc came and walked the property and emailed a quote that night. My wife and I had some additional questions and Marc came back and was very helpful in making suggestions on what he thought about what we wanted to accomplish. We did 500 feet of curbing and and replaced bark mulch with 10 plus yards of rock. The crew showed up early and worked late and three days later the job was done! We could not be happier with the work done.i

    CJ'S Landscaping
Chris showed up on time for both the estimate and the work. The contract clearly stated the quantity of new plants and the types. They reflected our need for low maintenance, low water usage, and color. He gave us a date for installation and met his promise. Once the landscaping was in place, we needed some changes in the sprinkler system, he provided that as well. Although an add on, the cost was reasonable.

    Allpro Tree & Landscaping

Crew arrived promptly, worked hard all day and cleaned up after themselves. The only reason I give them an overall 'B' rating was some items mentioned on the walk through before the job weren't done due to time constraints and it took them a couple weeks to return and grind down the 2 stumps. We had to call them a couple times to get the stumps finished up.
