  • Fred came out to give a quote and he was the only painter who showed us proof of a license. He gave us specific details of what would be done in each room and a guarantee that we would be happy with the job. Fred answered all our questions and concerns, without hesitation, and quickly helped us realize that he was the right person to go with. He ordered all the paint and had it delivered to the house (although he also offered for us to get our own if desired). The day of the job, his crew was supposed to show up at 8am, Actually, they were already waiting for us at 8am. This never happens when we hire someone for a project. Usually 8am means 830 or 9am. His whole crew was friendly and professional. I kept waiting for a catch since big projects like this never go off without a catch. Well, there were TWO catches - neither one was his fault. We just purchased the house and the water was supposed to switch into our name the following day. But, the water company came by and shut off the water while they were painting. No problem. His crew worked something out with our neighbors to use their water., Also, a big mirror and wallpaper that we tore down in our bathroom the night before left holes and gashes in the wall (and there was no texture underneath). He apologized multiple times for having to charge us extra to repair all the damage, but, we knew this was not in the quote and he was very fair with the price. He again offered a choice in case we didn't want him to do the repairs. Even with these unforeseen problems, his guys worked from early morning until after dinner to complete the whole house in a day. Looks amazing and couldn't be happier. Very, very uncommon nowadays to find companies that provide great quality, friendly service, and fair pricing all wrapped in one - especially when problems arise that aren't even their fault!   • Do not use this contractor unless you get a quote. Everything appears to be ala carte. I would never recommend them to anybody. They completely took advantage of me and my home. I would have never gone with this company if I would have known that they would make me pay for services.

  • Had appointment scheduled for Friday since we are moving into new home tomorrow (Thursday). Just got a call from Stephan (Wednesday) that they double booked and want to move our appointment to next week. I explained that we took off work Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun to get house fixed up enough to move in and having the electrical work done is a HUGE part of this. We will be back at work all next week and will already have our stuff moved in now. He called manager to see if he could move things back and then called back to say NO. He said they don't work weekends, but, you would think they would have made an exception for a first time customer who is moving into a home and already scheduled an appointment. Terrible service.

I got quotes from the top painters in my area and will never regret hiring this company. I knew the quality of their work already as they have done several neighbors' homes.   • We went on Angie's List for fence installers and he came up the 4th one, with no ratings. He called us from the moment we left your website. He came out on a Saturday for a quote and a sample of the vinyl product fence he makes. The job was only a day, we already had HOA approval, so he was able to squeeze us in on Monday. He asked for 10% down, which we did over the internet at 8:00 pm.Saturday evening. He told us the men wouldn't show till later in the day on Monday. They arrived, were polite, worked the whole time and left before 5. The gate was the wrong size so they returned today, Tuesday, installed and we were able to pay by credit card the remaining amount. It was great to have a job quoted, installed and paid all in a couple of days, with work that was outstanding along with the installers. We had tried to get other quotes but the other companies were out a week or more just for quotes!! We will call them again if the need arises.

  • Amazing experience with this company. Zack Anderson was my foreman and he met and exceeded every time line. This was a big project starting with removing an antiquated screen room and cement slab. Now I have a wonderful heated pool with a new screen room, pavers and fascia. All of the project specialists on this job were friendly and professional.

  • From my first meeting with Paul he was very Professional. He listened to my needs and concerns and explained the process in detail. On the scheduled day, both Paul & Cheyeene arrived on time and did another walk through to confirm my needs. The end result was amazing. My floors were 20 years old and had never been professionally cleaned. My floors looked like they day there were installed. I am thrilled with my experience with Surface Experts. I highly recommend them and know I will call Paul and Cheyenne again should the need arise.

  • We had a full price contract offer on our home. After taking a week for the appraisal, Michael Gann came in $29,000 less than the offer and the asking price. He killed the deal. The sad part is, I used to do appraisals and after thinking that it was a very bad appraisal, I asked several professional opinions of the job he had done. He gave us no credit for my home that had been completely remodeled from top to bottom with the best quality. Had he given us credit, the appraisal would have been right inline. Not only that, he gave us to credit for our patio/porch/dock that he gave to comparables. I could list several more things but please beware.

  • If you want a clean, undamaged house, do not hire this company! They are unprofessional, unprepared and inexperienced. They lack the understanding of the correct way to clean things. They do use green cleaning products which means that they put vinegar in a bucket of water, that’s their green cleaning solution for everything! This was supposed to be a deep cleaning, as they put it “from ceiling to floor.” The biggest issue with my house was dust. I asked them to vacuum things before they cleaned because the house had not been thoroughly cleaned in five+ years. The house is dusty not dirty. The one in charge, and the only one that spoke and understood English assured me that they would be able to get up all the dust with rags and a microfiber cloth. I have so much dust floating in the air now and settling all over everything I had to buy 2 air cleaners ($350.00) to try to get rid of all the excess dust in the air. I will also have to hire a different company to come in and vacuum down everything in my house to contain and get rid of all the airborne and settled dust. In addition to the very poor cleaning they did, and the many areas they missed, they damaged three spots on the wall, caused a leak in my tub faucet and smashed in the toe kick under my kitchen cabinet. They left oven cleaner all over the inside of my self-cleaning oven which I had to spend an hour wiping down. They spent six hours cleaning, we spent 13 hours breaking down, moving and reassembling things so it would be easier for them to thoroughly clean. There are so many other things they did wrong I can’t even list them all here. Protect yourself by only paying with a credit card. Do not do a bank transfer! What a waste of our time and money!
