    Choice Home Warranty
The part arrived about 3 days after ordered and the installer returned to install the part and the machine is working perfectlly. Another technician came to do that part spent well ovr a couple of hours and removed all the lint from my dryer, excellent job.

    Fields Appliance Service Inc
Called whirlpool repair due to leaking 3 year old dishwasher. They setup the repair order with Fields Appliance Service. Fields technicians (2) arrived on schedule as promised. After I explained that the dishwasher was working fine, except for a leak that I could not locate, they proceeded to look under the dishwasher with a flashlight for exactly 42 seconds. Then they conferred with each other, and after some whispering they proceeded to type up the estimate. I Asked what was going on with the dishwasher, and they did not answer instead continued to enter data in their computer. After several minutes of silence, the showed me the estimate on their screen. $508. to replace the sump which has a crack, hence the leaking. I asked why so much and they said its a catastrophic repair and the most expensive to replace. I said I understand, but I can replace the entire dishwasher for less. I declined the repair and paid their service call fee $98 and sent them on the way. Afterward I called Whirlpool to find out what the replacement part costs, and they told me it was $60 plus tax! I understand markup and labor, but this was a significant price difference, so I called Fields Appliance to inquire why it was $508 to replace a $60 part? I was told that the technician said I need to replace the entire motor assembly and everything attached to the Sump pan. I indicated that that was unnecessary as the dishwasher was working fine except for a leak. They stated that they would have the service manager call me. After several days no call. I called back and left several messages but no one called back. My conclusion is that they wanted to replace several parts that did not need replacing, and therefore are not a reliable repair company. Reminded me of a shady used car dealer. BEWARE of this company, they will try and swindle you for repairs that are not needed, and bill you $98 for a service call! Despicable!

Excellent. Since I am not a technician he could have taken advantage, He didn't and the most impressive thing was his honesty. I would highly recommend him to everyone. Job well done at a reasonable price,

    Sears Appliance Repair
The guy who came out, kept pushing their household warranties. He was arrogant, insulted when we wouldn't take it and even used our bathroom! The contracted company ( A &E Factory Service), who does Sears service now, NEVER even asked the make or model of my washer. The part did fix the washer though so, he does get an A+ for that. Oh, and we paid ALOT of money for a refurbished part!! This is NOT the once reliable Sears repairmen and service department. Beware.

They called and gave us a time frame (same day) and then came when they said they would. A switch had to be changed out on the top door, which took maybe 20 minutes. The price seemed a bit high at $150. But then again I dont really know just what the going rate is and what the part really cost. I guess good prompt help has to be paid for. I cant say anything negative about the service performed and I would use them again.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Tech came I told him I thought the door interlock switch might be the problem. He checked it and had one and replaced it and everything worked fine with that part of the service call. The prices wasnt any bargain but I was ok with things at that point. Then the tech proceeded to try and upsell us on appliance warranties and the dryer vent cleaning and anything else he could come up with. Also tried to tell us our house would burn down if we didnt get the dry vent cleaned. I asked if he knows someone who could performs that service. As I assumed, just so happens they do that work. I was like imagine that. Its obvious Sears is pushing the repairs personal to upsell other services. I find that very sleazy of Sears. I just wont use their service any more. The service was perfume a while ago, and the house hasnt burned down yet. No wonder Sears is going down the tubes.

    Sears Appliance Repair
A few days before we were moving out of our home, we had Sears "service and clean" our range, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer & dryer. Price was good at $199 for all 5 appliances. The person sent to service was not friendly or informative. He never explained anything about what he was doing and barely said a word, unless we asked a question. We have an issue with our refrigerator where ice forms under the freezer drawer and then starts leaking on the floor. My husband thought he knew the issue and the service technician agreed, there is a line that needed to be defrosted. He told us he defrosted it with his hand (I was doubtful that this would work) and 2 days later, the night before moving long distance, same issue as always. He should have been able to fix this simply, instead, we had to hire someone long distance to resolve the issue before we listed the home for sale.

    Mr. Appliance of Pasco County
Excellent. The tech explained what was the problem with the ice make and gave me at cost analysis of replacing the unit or just paying for a service all and replacing the refrigerator. I chose to replace the ice maker unit as the best option presented to me. The tech instructed me on how to operate and maintain the ice maker and cleaned up this work area before departing, taking with him all packing materials and old parts that were replaced. Would highly recommend this company.

A Arnie's Dependable Appliance Repair Service Inc
due to deterioration was advised to get a new one. tech, Kevin, showed me the underneath of the dishwasher and there was leakage, rust, etc. He answered questions as to what to look for in the purchase of a new dishwasher, i.e. options, amps, arms, food drain cleaning, etc. Kevin was delayed for the appointment, but I was called early and he showed at the approximate time I was given. I would definitely call again due to the professionalism I was shown.

    Sears Appliance Repair
It was crappy. Our home warranty company arranged it. They actually sent a manufacturers representative out to do it. They were sent out to fix the problem but did not. They were supposed to change out the shock absorbers in our washer. It still has the same problem as it did before they came out. They came out twice. I like Sears. They are a quality outfit. They sent this gentleman out there and he tried to fix the problem. He did not get it fixed. He certainly tried to. He said it might be the product. It is a front loading washing machine. It is supposed to be quality. My wife has looked it up and there is a lot of problems with that product. It might be that. The price was paid through our home warranty company. They were very responsive. They were punctual. They attempted to do the job. They failed. They had to come twice. They came out once and looked at what was wrong and order the parts. They had to come back out. They told us the parts would be delivered here within the next 2-3 days. They would be out on day 4. They did exactly what they said. That was very well done. They did not mess anything up. They cleaned it up.
