    Atlas General Contracting Inc
We recently added a 3rd garage to an existing 2car garage at our home here in East Naples and made the horrible mistake of hiring JACOB H. (Atlas General Contracting Inc). We contracted (and he cashed our 1/3 down payment check) in September (2017) and did not complete the job until late December (2018). Sixteen (16) months to build a ONE car garage addition. 16 months of our property being a total mess! Months and months of having a huge dumpster in our yard ! We (and when I say WE I mean Atlas GC) failed NINE (9) separate Collier County inspections! Delay after delay, poor quality craftsmanship, complete lack of oversight, and a large dose of ignorance was the norm throughout the entire project. We currently have 13 (and counting) large cracks in the garage floor. Despite my protests . . . they poured the concrete during a torrential downpour. It looked like watery soup when they finally covered it that day. By contrast our existing (2 car) garage has one crack. In addition, there were gaping holes in the block walls mortar, and the list goes on & on. . . . I heard nothing but excuses and rhetoric throughout the entire project, and Im sure his response here will be of similar character. My advice take LOTS of pictures, keep detailed records, and stay clear of Jake H. and ATLAS GENERAL CONTRACTING.

    Heinen Contracting Inc
Working with Heinen Garage Construction was a great experience. They tore down our old garage and built us a new 22x24. They were great communicators through the process and we are so pleased with our new garage!

    Paz Construction
Paz Construction is a family construction company led by father, Julio, and son, Mario. I had heard of their services from a friend and neighbor who had his entire house remodeled. I loved his new and improved home so I decided to give them a call. They where very prompt in their timing and extremely nice and helpful! Julio definitely knows what he is talking about! I wanted an open floor plan because my house had too many hallways and not enough kitchen space. They came to my house several times to discuss what needed to be done and to show me the drawings of what it would look like! Finally we reached an agreement and they began to work on the permit process. They were very professional and assured that everything will be done within our time frame. I had to leave because of all the debris but I visited the house as often as possible and always saw either Julio or Mario there making sure everything was getting done. The entire renovation took about six weeks but ended up beautifully! I can honestly say that I have used other contractors for other houses and Paz Construction was the most willing to listen to what I wanted and they almost always made it happen! From beginning to end they seemed to be on top of everything! I would highly recommend this to any one who needs any type of remodeling service.

    Dehullu Homes LLC
    • I would recommend Dehullu Homes to anyone who is looking for
new home construction or renovations. I have used this builder on more than one
occasion and was thrilled with the results. My first renovation was to remodel
my bathroom and kitchen and I was looking for a modern yet elegant look. The
results were more than I could have asked for. I had some ideas of what I
wanted, but Steve, the owner, gave me some recommendations on some
architectural details that added just the right touch to make the results superb,
I couldn?t have been more pleased and proud of my new kitchen and bath.

I also called Dehullu Homes when I needed a garage makeover
and a new Deck on another home I had purchased. My 6 stall garage needed an
exterior face lift, and an office and work shop built inside for my
husband.  His team was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. They added
large vinyl windows and vinyl shingle siding, which made the  garage look
as nice as my home. The windows were just the right touch so he could view the
lake from his office.  My husband was delighted with the results. We added
a large deck off the Kitchen which had  Trex Decking for maintenance free
living. We wanted the deck for a Memorial Weekend party and it was done on
time, ahead of schedule.  We have only great things to say about this
builder and would use him again if and when the opportunity presents itself.

    Ideal Kitchen & Bath LLC
I recently purchased Granite Counter tops from Ideal Kitchen and Bath in Naples. Anyone who has purchased any kind of Granite knows that shopping for "The Perfect" fit can be both time consuming and a headache. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly throughout the entire process. No matter how many phones calls we had back and forth, they always answered with a pleasant tone and detailed information. As a consumer, anytime you are making a large purchase there are always feeling of anxiety & stress due to the price or the amount of time the installation will require. Some businesses often see you as a money tree and constantly tag on all the fees and upgrades you can handle. Ideal Kitchen and Bath was the exact opposite.
They took their time explaining the entire process from start to finish. Danny sent out an Installer to the house and he created a detailed template. When the installers arrived, they were clean and very cautious. While they were outside cutting the Granite, they used a shop vac to catch the extra dust from the saw. I was amazed at how well the installers took the extra time to be courteous. On the inside they wiped down cabinets and drawers to make sure they left the house in better shape that it was in before they arrived. I can't say enough about my pleasant experience dealing with Ideal. The best part of entire process is that we came in under budget. I even bought more items from them because I saved so much...How ironic :-) If you want quality, care and superior work...then Ideal Kitchen and Bath is the place to go for your Granite. Their prices are cheaper than anywhere else in the Naples area and their service is truly top notch.

    Ideal Kitchen & Bath LLC
Very Professional Service with Unbelievable Low Prices! I researched (quite extensively) for several kitchen cabinet and granite companies around Naples searching for the best cabinets and granite countertops at a reasonable price and this company provided the best overall quality and service. Their prices weren't bad either!   I was amazed at the attention to detail the installers gave to my project. They made the whole kitchen remodeling process a lot less stressful. Thank you. I will recommend this company to any friend thinking of remodeling their kitchen with new kitchen cabinets or granite countertops.

    Robert Palmer Contracting
The following are a few examples of the issues we had with this contractor's work:

I told him I was not happy with the paint job he had done because many imperfections were left on the walls. He did not spackle or sand wherever necessary. He told me I had hired him to paint not to make my walls smooth! I don't know any painter who would not prep the walls before painting especially after the kind of damage I had sustained. There were also clumps of spackle left on the walls and large drips of paint down the walls.  In the master bedroom it was obvious he had used two different kinds of paint (pearl and egg shell) on 2 of the walls. When I pointed this out to him he said it was the  walls and not the the fact that he had used two different textures of paint!

There was a hole in the ceiling by the vent in the guest bathroom which was made by the plumbers. When I brought this to his attention he said he didn't bid it and wouldn't fix it. We went back and forth until he finally agreed to fix the 2 small areas. I had to provide the spackle. I am just amazed that he would think it would be okay to leave these holes in my ceiling!  He also refused to  paint this ceiling when it was finished being repaired as he "did not bid to do this".  I had said to him the day the sheetrock guys were there to make sure the ceiling got fixed.  I said it to him twice and he obviously ignored me.

He also didn't paint another area in our utility closet where the plumbers had cut holes and the wallboard people had repaired the ceiling (FYI- he also had the contract from the Association to do the wallboard repair work.). He left a 2 ft. by 3ft  portion of the ceiling undone.  His reason, again, was he hadn't bid to do that! This turned out to be his answer for almost everything.

He painted 2 bedrooms and didn't paint the closets, even though the colors were different, because, you guessed it, he hadn't bid it!  You can see 2 inches of the pink closet wall because the doors are recessed into the closet about 2 inches.  BTW, he didn't redo the ceilings in these bedrooms either.  I guess my stating I wanted all the texture removed in  all the rooms meant, to him,  except the closets and to me it meant including the closets as all meant all!!!

The contractor retiled the master shower.  There was beige/brown colored grout all over the ceiling above the shower.  I pointed this out to him and stated I expected this ceiling to be painted so the grout wouldn't show.  Again, and I know it's getting old, he said, "I didn't bid that."  I told him he got the grout on the ceiling and he was to get it off.  So, he painted about 8 inches from the wall out to cover the grout and never painted another inch beyond that.   Please note, the ceiling is approximately 4ft by 5ft as only the shower and toilet are in the room (sinks are outside.)  So picture this, he painted just 8  inches along the 5ft. wall and nothing more!

The plumbers had cut the walls along the living room wall adjoining the kitchen so they could re-plumb the kitchen. The contractor hired people to sheetrock walls and ceilings. The contractor was then to cut the outlet boxes out.  He did cut them out and did a hack job.  He didn't fix these holes with spackle and then sanding them so he could put back the normal sized outlet plates.  Oh no, he went out and bought oversized outlet covers so he didn't have to do anything but screw them on!

We had a lengthy heated discussion, my husband was also present, the contractor  threatened to walk out if we were going to deduct items from the list because he had not done them. I told him to go right ahead.

He told us the crown moulding in the dining room and living room would be sanded and painted and then he refused to do it because there was too much silicone on it.  The amount of silicone didn't change from when he agreed to do it.  He just didn't want to do what he had promised!

The plumber that he hired came and used the bare minimum pipe to meet code when replumbing our sinks and vanities. The pipe he was replacing was 1.5 inches he put in 1.25 and it leaked to boot! The plungers had to be adjusted, the pipe tightened, the silicone ring wasn't seated properly, hence the leak, per contractor. On the other sink the drain pipe was crooked preventing another plunger from working and had to be fixed.

He put in baseboard, and actually did a nice job with this. However, he came round the room to the doorway and never painted the doorway to match the nicely painted baseboard he had just put in and the doorway had gotten banged in the repair process.
I would NEVER hire him again!!

    Don DeFlavis Construction LLC
See above. We needed some kitchin remodeling plus door repairs. I called Don on advice of a friend. Don came out, spent over two hours talking to me and checking items to be fixed and/or installed. He was back with an estimate in two days, started the project a week later and completed project within the time he estimated. I was completely satisified with his work and honesty and would recommend him to anyone who asks.

I had a good experience with this company that I will not forget. I gave my kitchen contract to Danny. I wanted my kitchen attractive but I did not have much money for it! And, it was excellent when I heard that this kitchen contractor was going to work according to my budget and best design! And they did it! My kitchen could no be better! Incredible!
