Carpet Installation reviews in Naples

Vince, Kathi and Jeff were amazing to work with from the first time we walked into their showroom. Vince came out to our home to see what we were interested in. Within 2 days he had emailed us a bid. He followed up with us while we were waiting for other bids. When we went back in with a list of questions and he answered everything in detail, enough for us to feel comfortable to hire them right then. They explained about the permit process, time frame of the job and were great at helping us pick out selections. All of the contractors were great and efficient. They did warn us about all the dust removing of the tile would create. They were right! I would highly recommend using Salvia Tile. Our home is beautiful because of them.

It was a great experience dealing with Abbey Carpet. The sale Representative was extremely helpful in assisting with picking out the tile and carpet. The installers were professional and knowledgeable of their work.

IF YOU LIKE TO SURF ON THE WAVES IN YOUR BRAND NEW CARPETING, HIRE THIS COMPANY because Mr. Trader (owner) says that is normal in Florida. Within two years of installation, waves started to appear. Since we are only using the place couple times per year and air conditioner is always on, this was not a Florida or consumer issue but a BAD INSTALLATION issue. When I confronted Mr. Toader and he finally answered my calls, he had the nerve to give me the phone number of someone who would gladly re-stretch the carpeting for $200.(I called the guy and he came out and said it would be $300, which I declined). Why should I have to pay for someone to fix a bad installation? Mr Toader, maybe you should consider selling surf-boards with your carpeting. UNPROFESSIONAL as they come!!!! So far I have no complaints about the kitchen, which was done nicely.

Work began promptly and continued six days a week until completed at the end of seven weeks. The main objective of the contractor was speed. Get it done quickly using their standard materials and installation techniques. Other than flooring choices, I found the showroom lacking. The job could have been supervised more. For this amount of money, I would have expected more attention to detail. I am now fixing these problems myself since there seems to be a lack of experience by some personnel, not all. Very little cleanup done at the end of the day. I did most of it.

I'm sure that grandma and grandpa will be very happy to have them take care of their winter home. Accept what's done and like it.

I have no idea if the price was reasonable. Some items seemed high to me but I believe there is a premium for work in Collier county. It's assumed that everyone has money.

Estimate for the project was for 2 people, 3 to 31/2 hours of labor,$ 250.00 to $350.00.
2 people arrived on time, did a good job (gave each a generous tip) They were done in
less than 1 hour!! To my surprise, I received, after a long wait, an invoice of $350.00.
If anything, I would have expected an invoice much closer to the $250.00 range. I expressed
my feelings to John, but wound up paying the full amount anyway, leaving me a very unhappy costumer.

Nice showroom with professional staff to assist in selection of wood flooring. We were able to take multiple samples to our home in order to make our selection. ProFloors offered a competitive price and very prompt delivery once ordered. Although we used our own installer, ProFloors offered advice to him.

They were very fast and thorough and did the job very well. I had three bedrooms, one hallway, and all ajoining closets replaced with a high end laminate (previously carpeting) including new base trim and they had the work completed in less that two working days. They were very professional, timely, polite, and clean.

Engineered hardwood was installed in entire house nearly 2000 sq. ft. The communication was excellent. Two days of demolition went smoothly. They accommodated us by leaving bedroom for living. All furniture was moved into garage. Installers were very considerate working around our needs. Kept us up to date on scheduling and when they would arrive. Installer did an artful job. I have had floors installed before, but the level of detail here surpassed anything in my previous experience. In removing old rugs, a leak was discovered. They worked with us to solve the problem. Moved all furniture back to its place. For a large, disruptive job, they were exceptionally considerate. Now we have beautiful floors. An excellent experience from start to finish. I would recommend them highly for hardwood floor installation.

The carpets were ordered in Mid October, at that time we made a 50% deposit assuming that Hadinger would honor their commitment to have them installed ?within ten days? in order that our house could be put on the market. The installers came to our home, I let them in and asked them to call me when the installation was finished?. guess what? Yup, they never installed the carpet because they found a defect? and no-one called to inform us. In fact the first we heard about it was when our Real Estate agent went round to photograph the property a week later and found all the carpets ripped out and black under-felt on the floor. Obviously in no condition to to photograph or ?show?.
I was only officially made aware of the situation when I called Hadinger for an explanation, followed by six weeks of what can only be described as complete BS! NO ONE from Hadinger made any attempt to contact me with any form of status, I was the one who had to follow-up with Hadinger, I was the one who had to pick-up the phone for status reports, I was the one who had to physically come to their store to demand what the status was. One false promise after another ?It has been produced and will be here in two days??It is in our warehouse now??Oh, I thought they had already laid it??They haven?t manufactured it yet?The last time I came to Hadinger I spoke with both our salesperson and one of their managers neither of whom had any clue when the carpets would be available or installed and to calmly inform me that as ?Season was starting? there would be a ten day delay ?after receipt of carpet? before they could come and lay the carpet.?.Finally late November the carpets were finally down and we were able to list the property.
The house just sat there for two months?.
Did I ever receive and formal acknowledgment of incompetence or a formal apology from Hadinger? Absolutely not!Did Hadinger ever offer any form of recompense or alternative carpet? NO to recompense, and YES to an alternative (provided we would pay the additional costs of course).
In the past we have been good regular customers of Hadinger, that has obviously stopped.
So why have I just sat on my hands ignoring the phone calls for final account settlement? Because quite honestly you deserve TO BE TREATED IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AS YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS?. just ignore them. Irritating isn?t it?

On December 9 I first consulted with Rick at Pro Floors office.  We discussed removal of old, chipping tile and replacement of the tile with laminate I'd already purchased and he set up the date of January 4 for the beginning of the tile removal.  The technicians arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m., removed furniture and carefully sealed entrances to adjacent rooms.  The process of tile removal began on Jan. 4, and was totally finished on January 5.  Much care was taken to ensure pictures were returned exactly to their proper places on walls (they took digital photos to ensure proper placement), furniture was carefully moved.  They also cleaned thoroughly as the work progressed.  Installation began on January 5th and the final finishing pieces were installed on January 6.  The technicians were pleasant, polite gentlemen who took great care with all aspects of this job.
This was the third flooring installation company I had contacted, and both the pricing and the customer service were exemplary in all areas.  I would highly recommend this firm.
