    Mathis & Sons Septic, LLC.
Telephone call was nice.  Showed up on-time. Initial cost of 260 was fair.  Wanted 85 to clean out the filter which is unbelievably expensive and should be part of the service.  It literally was a small plastic filter that took all of 2-3 min to unscrew and spray with a hose.  Since I sprayed the "filter", I didn't get charged.  Also wanted to up charge an additional 140 because of additional "sludge"...lol  Unfortunately, they had me at a disadvantage by already being in the middle of the project so the 140 was not an option.  Watching them put the lids back on my tanks was painful to watch and made it seem extremely hard to put back on blaming all the chips on the lid on the last company that was out.  Wrong... I watched them as I watched these guys and no they didn't chip the lids.  Then said I had a problem with the leech field since the second tank was full and it would be 4000 more.  They were even more than willing to take half now and half later.  I should of just waited for my normal septic company who was backlogged at the time.

    S & W Kitchens Inc
Excellent! Greg, the design consultant I worked with, walked (with) me through the entire project and he was thorough and knowledgeable. The workmen were competent, courteous, and prompt. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and outcome. I am planning on using them again for another project.

Never submitted a review like this before. After five and half years as automatic payment and happy customer for monthly service, along with paying without question for pump, parts, repairs during that time - I called to inquire why my monthly service had not been done. I was told that tech had called and left messages for me. I received no messages and advised owner. He said he knew his tech better than he knew me - so asked who I would believe? Really? After all this time, why would I not respond to a message for something I want and need and already paid for? Rather than take care of this honest customer, Bill advised he would prefer to end our business relationship. I was incredulous. I did receive a refund for the service I never got and have moved on to another provider, but I will never understand his thinking nor his attitude.

    My Handy Craftsman Inc
From start to finish they were professional and friendly. Jeff was up-front about how they operate and the way their pricing works. He listened to what we wanted and was back with me within 24 hours. Paul, the craftsman performing the work, was on-time and worked very quickly, efficiently and was surprisingly clean. We originally called only for pressure cleaning and staining but saw that they do so much more on their website and decided to ask if they could do a few other projects as well. I will admit, I was a little concerned because my laundry list of projects was all over the place, but Paul seemed completely confident he would be able to do everything. He walked through it all with me and I could tell he knew what he was doing. And not only was he able, it looked awesome! It took a few days to complete everything but Paul always let us know what the status was and when he would return. My Handy Craftsman did an awesome job! We are so pleased with everything. The price was fair, the work was done quickly, the quality was great and the versatility was amazing. We would definitely use them again for future projects.

    Rowe Services & Maintenance
Mr. Rowe was fantastic to work with. He stopped over to provide the quote and I was satisfied with the quote. I asked if he could begin work that day-- he was and got to work right then and there. I had provided 5 fans and had decided to purchase another for the living room that day and went to the local home store for the additional items. I decided to add in a few additional items to the list and he was willing and able to stay and do the other projects as well. He had to return later to finish patching the drywall as it needed time to dry and returned in a timely manner to finish. I would highly recommend Mr. Rowe as I felt his quote was very fair for the items on the list and the time that he spent doing the projects. It is good to find someone you can trust that will do a great job at a reasonable price!

    Glenn Tatum Plumbing Services
We were fortunate to get an "Angie's Deal".  We had a couple of e-mails between us, then a couple of phone calls.  Since we live out of state and could not meet with the contractor directly we needed to coordinate between him and our renter.  Fortunately, all went very smoothly.  We had great phone contact, the service was very friendly and responsive.  And......best of all our renter was very pleased.
Glen called when the work was complete, explained everything he did and gave us some suggestions.  We were very happy with this experience and would definitely recommend.

    Prime Plumbing Inc
No big deal and was expected about 150-180 bucks. Surprise was when they arrived. I expected to pay for service call and the service. Found out it was more like carte blanche. Eg we show up and here is the price. If I have to take the snake out, it is automactically another $325 bucks and then it only goes up. Also said they could look at the drain with a camera, another $325 bucks (declined). To me, a snake is part of the service, should not be a surcharge because they used it. Would be like a applicance repair, but if we take out our tools (how would you not?), its another few hundred bucks more just for taking out my tools. All in all, the tech was competent, the people calling kept their time, but it only took about 10 to 15 minutes to snake out the drain and the price seemed very high.

    Leesburg Septic Inc
I called Leesburg Septic because I had trouble with my drains.  Someone came out the next day (although they offered to come the same day I called) and drained my septic tank, which was full (the charge was $235.00).  The technician said that I needed a new drain field very soon because the tank should not be filled to capacity.  I called the office to request an estimate, and I received it the same day by e-mail.  I agreed to the price and a date was set for the following week.  (Time was need to request and acquire a permit from the county).  A crew arrived in the morning on the date set, and they finished replacing the drain field in the afternoon (the septic tank was full again after only one week).  Everyone there was polite and professional.

Jason arrived on time and was very professional.  Fortunately, my plumbing problem turned out to be something simple.  Jason also gave me a few tips that would save me money in the future.  I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Shamrock Plumbing and Drain Cleaning Inc.
Our flooring installer called to say Mr. Norman and his helper left several large piles of old hardware and rubbish on the floor, stalling the flooring install. Also, he complained they had been using his tools and shopvac without his permission. They also used our ladders and hand tools without our permission. They did not work everyday nor keep normal work hours. On most days Mr. Norman did not appear. Each day we would find problems. Mr. Norman said we were overly critical. We hired an independent inspector to review the work. The inspector said the work, construction and plumbing, was shoddy, the materials poor, and many shortcuts were being taken. He didn?t think any of the work would pass even a cursory home inspection. The tiling guy who showed up had never worked with Mr. Norman before. Mr. Norman had promised him that the areas would be ?tile-ready? upon his arrival, but he said it was the worst drywall work he had ever seen and that he would not tile over it. We told Mr. Norman that we wanted to end our contract with him. Mr. Norman asked if we would be leaving a negative review on Angie?s List. When I said that I had not thought about that yet, Mr. Norman offered us a refund of $2500 to ensure we were happy and would not leave him a negative review. Mr. Norman asked for 60 days to produce the refund. We agreed and hired another plumbing firm and tiling firm to take over. The new plumbing contractor wrote: ?I felt it very important that I tell you what poor workmanship we found when we took over from your first plumber. The first problem we encountered was that he had closed up walls with open crimp fittings on the pipes he had installed. That told me he never tested his work. If we hadn?t torn out the durock he had installed and tested the pipes, you would have had major flooding in your walls the first time you ran your shower, destroying your new walls, paint, base boards, and flooring. After finding that, I started to check on everything he did and I found a number of other problems with his workmanship, including: 1. loose shower head fittings in the master shower (high potential for future leaks behind the walls) 2. building materials issues (they used damaged durock and had used a combination of drywall screws, rusty nails, and other inappropriate hardware to secure the durock). The durock itself was installed so poorly that you most certainly would have had moisture getting through and causing rot, mildew, and eventual disintegration of walls 3. several instances of unsecured piping 4. piping had been run without installation of stud guards, leaving your piping vulnerable to puncture or cutting We had to remove all the durock your first plumber installed and redo a lot of piping. I estimate that the portion of your invoice which covers the cost of repairing what your first plumber did is $2300.? We never received the promised refund from Mr. Norman.
