AS & W Kitchens IncWe selected to use S&W Kitchens in Longwood after reading all their reviews and completing a consultation meeting with our designer to complete the total remodel of our kitchen & 3 bathrooms in our home. Considering that we had started this big project in late February/early March 2020 prior to Covid-19, we are very happy with the final results and end product and design. The whole remodel did take longer than expected and there were a few delays & hiccups...but over all we love our new kitchen and bathrooms. Sarah, our personal Designer was an instrumental part in the entire process and a joy to work with. She was professional, open-minded in our vision, creative and understanding to what we wanted in our home regarding design & specific efficient functional needs for our family...also all while keeping our budget in mind without compromising quality and design. Robert our General Contractor was experienced & knowledgeable and also was pleasant to work with and was in communication with us and the entire team. Our entire S&W project team Sarah, Robert, David, Kevin & Craig were professional and great to work with. We are very satisfied with the work performed and look forward to enjoying our home with family & friends. Thank you to our S&W Kitchens Longwood Team for bringing our longtime vision for our kitchen/baths remodel into a beautiful reality. It was all well worth it! ~Dan & Tiffany Marcos- Tiffany M.

ASouth Shore Construction Services IncUSA DISTRIBUTORS: Below are pictures of my condo’s galley kitchen. All of the cabinets were purchased on line using, and at a savings, the website USA DISTRIBUTORS. If you are reading this then you are like me in that you check out people, companies and products before you buy anything of importance. Also, let me assure you I have not received or expect anything from this company for this review. About a year ago my wife and I visited good friends in Melbourne Florida. They have a beach front condo and had recently done a rehab of their unit. We fell in love with their kitchen and cabinets. The first four pictures below are of their unit. We loved the perfect white and the door styles. They said they worked on line with USA-DISTRIBUTORS and the cabinet brand is FABUWOOD. The style is NEXUS FROST and that is also the color white; deep and rich white and thick luxurious paint. You can judge the depth and quality of the paint by slowly feeling the surface. Cheap cabinets and paint feel like the cheap wood or compressed sawdust below the surface. With FABUWOOD the paint is thick and luxurious feeling and the wood is quality and sturdy. The USA DISTRIBUTOR person who worked with us is DAN STRAUSS. Phone: 888-316-0805. I can’t say too much about how good he is. We talked on the phone, emailed and he is prompt in his replies and very pleasant. He knows his products and has lots of experience with others doing the same thing via the internet so he helps guide you. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I say that since it took me about seven months to confirm the plan and put in the order. Some of that time my wife and I were on vacation in Highlands N.C.. We just finished our condo rehab and the pictures after the first four are our condo kitchen. The bathroom cabinets match the color and style of the kitchen. The two things we did in the kitchen I would recommend are: 1. Frame the refrigerator and if you have the room put a cabinet about the refrigerator and install pull out drawers there and everywhere in the kitchen; 2. They have a tall pantry option that we chose and put pull out drawers top and bottom. We had a blank wall there and there was adequate space in the back of it for the pantry. I could go on but I value your patience so let me just say that we highly recommend this company, Dan and FABUWOOD cabinets. O’yes, we live in Orlando, Florida and the contractor we used was Kevin Morrison, 407-574-2424, and his company is South Shore Construction. He is very nice, patient, he will do as much or as little as you want. We interviewed and checked out three contractors. One of them put down getting a building permit and that is a sign of someone who cuts corners. Kevin is a honest contractor which means follows the code and law. He is ethical which means he treats you fairly and as he would want to be treated. He is a good guy. You should definitely interview him and let him evaluate your project. One last thing about Kevin. My wife is the type of person who carefully chooses a person to work with and then establishes a detailed plan, and leave it with the person to carry it out. On the other hand, I enjoy getting into the details, coming to the site and inspecting, occasionally changing my mind and asking questions. Kevin is a saint for putting up with us, I mean ME, and our very different personalities. Roger of Orlando- Roger M.

AFast up Solutions CorpI basically had the inside of the house gutted to studs in kitchen and bathroom. He did lots of extras and put high end added details that exceeded my requests. Everything looks great. The wiring is old here and popcorn ceiling removed, walls removed and kitchen opened up. His crew even cleaned construction area I was working on....Highly recommend and if you wanna buy home and flip it he works really fast and no surprises with costs. Honest fast and great work. Tells you costs and they don’t change. Tell him what you want and he gives advise and costs. The stone top on the kitchen and bathroom is Awesome. He ran wires for some special request and spends time to discuss why an idea is or isn’t good and offers solutions and design ideas.....great experience and I know of 4 houses that have used him and all were very happy.- Samuel b.

APersonal Touch ContractingJeff’s men did a fantastic job. His men were reliable, conscientious and punctual. They were meticulous in their work. The floor looks wonderful. This is the second time I used Personal Touch. Last year they remodeled my kitchen, which entailed removing a wall, moving electric wiring, and plumbing, replacing cabinets, and laying porcelain tiles. The floor they did this year adjoins the remodeled kitchen area from last year. I would recommend Jeff’s company to anyone. He, himself, is on the job site at least every other day, and days when he is not, he checks in a couple of times a day to assure that all is going well.- Jacqueline N.

AThe process was exceptional from the first design discussion through installation. The owner Tom visited us multiple times, even making a special trip to show us how the slide in baskets looked for the pantry. When the crew showed up they were extremely polite and took great care to ensure our hardwood floors and carpet were not damaged. We are extremely pleased and have already recommended them to multiple friends.

ABeyond expectations. William and Albert, and all the other workers, were the best I have encountered. William is very picky about things being done right so I never had to worry or look for mistakes, as there was none. From the beginning when Jason came to estimate the job, he guaranteed I would like the crew, coming to do the work. William and his crew’s work ethics are unapproachable. They cleaned up everyday, never leaving a mess. I even changed a few things and was always told that is no problem. I would recommend them.

AIt was such a pleasure working with Cabinet Shade Tree. They designed the kitchen with such practical detail and helped us select the quartz, cabinets and backsplash. Such an easy remodel and they were on time according to the detailed schedule. There showroom is very welcoming and the ladies there are very friendly and experienced. They are designers, but also act as a contractor as they schedule all the subs for each stage of the process. Loved the result!

DOur experience with S&W has been a prolonged nightmare. They show little remorse for huge errors, and their workers appear to be overworked to the point of constant errors on the job. From our first meeting to our unfinished punch list, there has been little care or sense of urgency about critical errors. I would however like to mention up front that our Foreman (Pete) was amazing and thoughtful, but unfortunately quit the project as it became out of control. I don’t know if he left the company as well, but I wouldn’t blame him as he is not given the resources to succeed. Pete was also never replaced, and no issues were dealt with once he left the project. I will outline most of the problems we had starting from the beginning of the project. Once we had our design consultations at the Longwood showroom, we had our meeting to go over costs and timelines. We were quoted 11 weeks to a completion. It took at least double that to even get close to substantial completion, and there are still problems to this day (1/13/21). For reference, this meeting was at the end of March of 2020. Our biggest issue with this build was that they mismeasured our kitchen from the start, and didn’t figure that out until well into the build process when they noticed the cabinets would not be able to fit as designed. Their measurement was off by OVER A FOOT. The only person that seemed to care about this was our foreman, and the cabinet installers. The management continues to just say our kitchen looks nice, but refuses to acknowledge that it is a major issue that it was not the kitchen we ordered. This mismeasurement caused our kitchen to no longer be centered on a window, and we had to completely shift cabinets around. To the credit of their craftsmen, they did a very good job with the compromises, but they were just as horrified as we were. There were also other problems with the cabinets that caused them to come out for multiple visits which I will detail below. To that end, there are still problems with the finish of the cabinets that remain to this day even though the company seems to think they are done with this project. Here is a list of other issues that happened during our build: -A wall was framed in the wrong place and I had to correct the worker as I happened to be home that day. That caused some issues with our ceiling cracking later on -They lost kitchen hardware that took about a month to re-order -When installing our appliances, they caused a gas leak that we had to live with over a holiday weekend -They damaged a countertop during that appliance install and did not tell us. The damage was so severe that the counter had to be replaced. -They scratched the floor when they repaired the gas leak, and that scratch remains as the wood floor was installed by a different company. -We had several plumbing mishaps that required numerous revisits by the plumbers -They severed a pipe for our outside water -The cover and protect process they used for our wood floor caused moisture to build up and the floor had to be replaced -They completely installed an incorrect door which took weeks of visits to repair and it remains unfinished (missing a strike plate) -We had service people and inspectors show up unannounced and unexpected -We failed an inspection as they got the county confused even after we warned them several times about our county as we live near the county line -During this process they have been very slow at communication (weeks to respond) -Some of our kitchen hardware already has coating wearing off My last email to the company was on December 8th. I received a reply about a week later that they were elevating our case to ownership, but as of today (1/13/21) it has been almost a month since, with no word from ownership. The issues with this company all seem to come from the fact that they are accepting more work than they can handle. Their workers are good craftsmen, but they were all exhausted, and were often coming to us as their 3rd job of the day. This also caused us a few late nights of construction. We felt so sorry for the workers as they were absolutely beat. The workers had a real drive to fix issues, but the company has been slow to respond to issues, and does not seem motivated in any way to compensate for delivering a kitchen that was not what we ordered. In conclusion S&W charges a premium for their services and I can even see how it could be worth the money if the workers were scheduled well, but in our case, everything fell through the cracks, and there seems to be little accountability. I cannot recommend the company at the price they charge as you will end up still having to essentially coordinate most of the project yourself, and at that point you might as well go with a company that doesn’t charge a premium price for a mediocre product.
