It was a pleasure to work with Newley and his crew. We are pleased with the result. I wish I had some before pictures but we didn’t think of it, you can see the end result in the attached photos. One of the things I liked is that Newley only uses Kerdi in shower/bath areas; he recognizes that it’s a product worth spending the extra money on. Put the money in the unseen as well as the finishes for the best result. I appreciated that. He helped us out financially by letting us do some of the demo and allowing us to hire a painter directly. He told me upfront that there might be a few days they weren’t on site once we started but not too many and he held true to that. He was here when I expected him to be. All of his subcontractors were people he knows personally and were also very nice to work with. His Dad does great wood work. I did a lot of research before starting all of this remodeling to the point where I basically just knew enough to be dangerous and Newley handled my questions with ease. The whole team reassured me throughout the project which was helpful. They even came back weeks after the technical end to make a few changes at my request and install closet shelving that wasn’t ready when we were first done. Top rate guys, nice, easy and a pleasure to work with. If I can find the money to do what I want to in the kitchen I will give him a call.

We were very impressed with the creativity, and attention to detail of the final fit and finish. The changes we wanted to make were difficult to make logistically, but Newly Romack made it work beautifully. I beleive all the team members are family, and it shows. The pulled some long days, and also one Saturday, which we had not problem with, to get various components completed. We are very, very happy with the results.

    J R Home Improvement
We really liked dealing with JR and his son. They were early for appointments, gave quick and accurate estimates, did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up very well when the job was complete. They were knowledgeable and used quality materials. We will be using them for many household repair projects in the future. A real find!!

    APEX Home Improvement, LLC
Andrew went out of his way to complete this project on time and to our demanding specifications. When our original supplier for the natural stone tiles informed us of a 2-week delay in getting the material, Andrew came to our rescue and sourced it from another supplier which had them in-stock. Once he obtained our approval, he went personally to collect the tiles down in Tampa from here in Orlando. His crew was polite, friendly, and extremely professional in every single regard. Nothing is too much of a problem for Andrew and his crew. We could not recommend them highly enough. Don't have any doubts - hire this contractor for your bathroom remodeling job.

    HENDERSON TILE CO INC
Mr. Henderson was prompt and efficient.  He prepared the workspace to avoid damage to other services.  He ensured that the tile was cut properly and even.  He did not rush and did the job exactly how it is supposed to be done.  He cleaned up after finishing each day.  He knows what he is doing and does it very well.

    Double AA Renovations
Everything they did was fabulous. It is a great company. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. I wasn't here. They were doing a lot of renovations so I moved out for 2 weeks. Dealing with Tony, the owner, was fabulous. He was in touch with me on a regular basis and made sure everything was done the way I wanted it. I would use them again. My wife is disabled and she dropped a 2-carat diamond ring. It fell under the bed and she didn't tell me. We moved out and when they were moving things around, they came across the 2-carat diamond ring. The first thing they did was to call me and tell me that they found the ring. They were very honest. The guy could have put it in his pocket and nobody would have ever known.

    INMER ROSADO
Everything was done beyond our expectations. In fact, two of our other subcontractors asked Inmer to bid on jobs in their own homes! In addition to the work he was hired to do, Inmer volunteered to do smaller jobs on his own simply because "he wanted it done right." When the plumber screwed up the placement of the pipes, Inmer fixed it on his own to save us from having to call the plumber back. You absolutely will not find a more knowledgeable, hardworking, and honest handyman! We already know we'll be hiring Inmer to install our sprinkler system and build our hot tub "someday." (He's also knowledgeable about building pools. In Puerto Rico, Inmer built one for himself shaped like a guitar. Ask to see the pictures! Amazing!

    Gaetano Oddi Builder
Gaetano was very prompt and professional during the replacement of the glass block window.   He located a window that was very close to what I had in the space previously, which other contractors were not able to do.  I thought his pricing for the materials and labor were very reasonable and his stucco contractor did a great job matching the previously existing stucco pattern which I had been told was very difficult to do.  I would definitely use him again.

    Metro Flooring & Cabinets
Tony, Diane, and their son are very nice people.  They were very helpful and patient in helping my wife pick out her materials for this major renovation.  All the floors and both bathrooms were renovated. I am very pleased with the tile floor. It looks amazing. I've not found a hollow tile or a miss aligned grout line.  If I had another tile floor I'd not hesitate to call Tony and Diane and ask for David again.  I am providing recommendation on tile floor and carpet work as this appears to be a specialty and they subcontracted an excellent installers for the floor. There is only one thing I can object to about with the floors.  The final clean up work.  Nobody ever never told me it was my responsibility to clean the floors when the job was completed. Metro expected me to clean the floors of all the excess grout left behind on the floor and in the door jams. This is finish work I assumed I contracted to be done.  I ended up having to pay Sahara Carpet $450 to come scrub the floors with a machine to get them clean. We just couldn't get them clean after mopping with both a sponge and rag mop. We even tried getting on hands and knees with buckets, scrub brushes, and towels.  The only thing that got them clean was a scrub brush and I wasn't going to do that by hand. I've also had to purchase a special $100 saw to remove the grout from under the door jams and is my next weekend project.  Blobs of grout in all the doorways is unacceptable as a way to finish such an amazing floor. They should be caulked and painted like the baseboards. The bathrooms came out gorgeous. We love them and matched our vision completely. Tony worked with us to get the glass block just right. The material is amazing quality and they just are so elegant. Tony was extremely responsive when I objected to one of the materials his contractor was starting to install. They took it out and started over. While the backing material is a modern product I'm a little old fashion and wanted cement board.  Tony took care of the objection immediately and the bathroom work continued.  Again the final finish work was given to me as my responsibility.  There were several issues, some of which was missing grout. While Metro Flooring took care of what I pointed out, I expected Metro Flooring to inspect and have the contractor finish the work before asking to be paid. I've paid Metro Flooring and they have moved on.  The travertine soap dishes and shelves in the showers still lack the grout.  Again my only complaint is the final finish work is something they expect me to manage. Be aware Metro Flooring wants you to be the quality assurance person. They do not supervise and inspect the work.  Only provide the materials and handle paying the contractor.  If you are looking for a proactive merchant that does the final inspection themselves and has the knowledge to see the obvious, this is not Metro Flooring. But if you want a good price, great materials, awesome advise, have your vision transformed to reality, Tony and Diane are you people.  Realize my complaints are small and picky, but I really thought turnkey was a theme at Metro and finish is the final touches that screams quality. Use Metro Flooring for floors. They don't know showers and tubs.  Be aware they want you proactive in managing the work so make written lists and have them knock them off as they go. This is a good business but I'd not use them again. I want the person I contract to do the job, including the supervision of the subs and to handle quality assurance to their satisfaction before asking me to do a final walk through and pay the final payment.  These are major flaws in final workmanship, not just a few picky things, that I've been paying others to correct.
