  • Very well. It has been a little over 30 days since the operation. My recovery has been exactly as Dr Shaya said it would. I am most impressed by Dr Shaya's skill however his excellent communication with me was most impressive. Not your typical leave a message that either doesn't get returned or takes so long you forgot the question. He is very accessible and prompt about returning calls. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shaya without hesitation. Also, the office staff is the same way. Prompt and considerate. If you need help with neuroscience this is your guy. I believe he holds special merit certificates and has held different educational positions in neuroscience. I could not be more pleased with him and his office.

  • Dr.Acon wasn't bad, but her office staff & billing practices are unethical. They will charge you for a Wellness visit that's supposed to be no copay, and then change how it's submitted. When questioned, I was told "How we bill is within the scope of the law".

  • She is great. Her staff is not rude. They do what they have to do and that's it. They bill appropriately. They never answer the phone. There is always a machine and they call you back. Sometimes I need something. So they should have someone answer the phone.

  • My husband's previous doctor had treated his hearing loss and head "stuffiness" for months as if they were caused by allergies.  Dr. Murray (in the Miami office) tested his hearing at the first visit.  His hearing loss was unilateral and fairly significant.  Dr. Murray referred my husband to Dr. Ress who specialized in hearing loss.  Dr. Ress listened to what the previous doctors had done and sent him for imaging right away.  The MRI showed a fairly obvious acoustic neuroma.  We were given digital copies of the images.  My husband was referred to the University of Miami for surgery because Dr. Ress felt that the size of the tumor made surgery a better option than radiosurgery.

  • Appointment error left me waiting in the exam room for an hour. Dr. Maratchi was defensive rather than apologetic when I mentioned this. I went forward with the exam againsyt my better judgment and found the doctor to be rude, condescending and did not answer a single question directly. He also made several unprofessional remarks in poor taste.

  • This doctor has posted all her previous "awards" for

    service. They are all 3 years and older. That should have been an indicator. This appointment was our second with Dr. Espinal. The first was less than 15 minutes with her after a 90 minute wait beyond our appointment time. Her excuse was that people do not show up on time and she gets behind. She did not explain why those who do show up on time must pay the price. On 9 June, we were scheduled to see her again. That never happened. After 50 minutes, I decided this was not worth it. I don't understand why some doctors are so clueless. I know their time is valuable....but so is mine. The staff said nothing. No indications as to why or how much longer a wait we could expect. It was as if they were scared to deliver bad news so they chose to ignore the obvious to avoid engaging the patients. Advice to all - stay away. Do not even attempt to give this doctor or her practice a try. They stink. A very SOLID F - not just for lousy, they are failures.

  • He did my surgery and my daughter's surgery. I just my close my eyes, and let him do what he is going to do. He is a great physician! I also had him operate on my daughter. I recommend everybody to him. Everything is awesome about him. He has great bedside manner, and you do not have to wait long in his office. He has great communication skills. He is people-friendly, patient-friendly and family-friendly. He is a great practitioner! I would use him again if needed.

  • He's been fantastic. I don't speak Spanish, but him and his staff cant speak english fluently with no problem. He takes the time to speak with you and he takes a longer amount of time than most doctors do. He's very competent with what he does.

  • Dr. Labombe is completely amazing. I would recommend her to everyone. She is very open minded and really listens to you. She never pushed her own agenda on me or pressured me to do anything I did not want to. I gave a C for punctuality because I am always at the office on average for 2 hours. After signing in and waiting in the initial waiting room, a nurse will take you back to get your vitals, but then you are in a secondary waiting room and from there they will call you back to see the doctor. I gave a B to the billing and administration because they set up a payment plan with you and you apparently have to have it paid off by month 7 of your pregnancy; however, they didn't go over any of the financials with me until I was 7 months along. I do want to note that I initially went to the Hollywood location, which seemed far more inefficient and less friendly compared to the Miramar location. I kept staff friendliness at an A though because we really only had issues with one nurse in particular, which we did complain to the manager about and to make sure we didn't have to deal with her again, or the other mis-communications we switched offices and only go to the Miramar location now.
