    My elderly mother is a snowbird going to Phoenix for a seasonal stay, 6 months, maybe longer. She has done this before but without a car. She decided to ship her car this time.  My family and I have shipped cars before with military moves but we had never made arrangements on our own.  Since I was making the arrangements on my mother's behalf, I wanted to insure I used a reputable company.  I requested and received 8-9 bids from various carriers with the lowest about $975, the highest was about $1200.   Since I didn't know anything about them,  I checked Angie's List and saw that Executive Auto Shippers rated the highest.  I requested a quote via their web site.  The price was $1,100 with a $200 deposit (which is applied to the total due). It was close to other quotes I received, so I decided to use Executive Auto Shippers.  I figured it would be better to use a company with hundreds of A rating reviews than a company I knew nothing about.  EAS is a broker that finds auto transport companies going the route and time frame the customer needs.  I proceeded with the instructions on the quote email- clicked on the link to proceed with the order.  I received instructions from Laura Whitaker via email the next day, which included a link to a form to fill out and email or fax back. I sent the information needed and received a confirmation email and instructions.  The week the car was to be shipped, I received an email with the name and contact information of the trucking company (Arizona Auto Shippers) that was contracted to actually transport the car, and the driver's name and cell #,  the estimated day for pick up, 11/4 or 5 and delivery on approx. 11/10.  The next day, Tuesday, the driver called my mother to touch base and confirmed the planned pick up of Wednesday or Thursday.  The driver's name was different that what the email said but he had the same ph #. I emailed and called Laura to confirm this driver was ok. She responded with in an hour that yes, he was ok and that sometimes they change drivers.  Mom asked Julian if the car could be picked up Thursday morning, which was better for her schedule but Wednesday in late evening would be ok.  Driver said he had to get the car Wednesday due to his driving schedule but a late pick up would be fine. We understood that we needed some flexibility with the drivers but that they would do their best to accommodate us.  On Wednesday, he called Mom in the morning. Since the rig could not maneuver in her neighborhood, they made arrangements to meet at a place of Mom's choosing, a place that gave him plenty of room to easily maneuver the truck and load the car that he would call her later in evening, when he was 30 minutes away.  Mom and a family member met him at the local mall.  She reported that the driver was very professional, courteous and loaded the car with confidence.  Everything went very smoothly.  Laura called me the next day for the credit card # for the deposit, as expected.  The receiving family member in Phoenix got a call Sunday morning, 11/8 that the car would arrive later that day, 2 days early.  It came as expected and the car was in perfect condition and everything went very well and that the driver was very good.  It only took 4 days for car to be picked up and delivered.  We all were very happy with the service of Executive Auto Shippers,  the contracted auto transport company and their driver. Communication was excellent. If I had any questions, I called and/ or emailed and received prompt responses.  I would definitely use Executive Auto Shippers again.

    Went very well. We were already home before we contacted executive to get original car. They contacted me several times during the processs, supplying the name and cell phone number of the driver, and updating me frequently. All went well

    A technician came out and diagnosed the problem. HE recommended I just order the parts and do the work myself, saying it was very easy. I agreed with him. He was very nice and exhibiting excellent customer service. The next day, I got a call with a quote of $374.00 for the 10 parts. I looked up the part online and ordered myself for about $41.00 or 3.72 each plus tax. I consider the markup of the ordered part insulting and price gouging and will never use Glass Doctor again.

    We took our car in for a/c work. Air in our Honda Civic was blowing cool air but not very cold at all. They did a diagnostic check and told us they thought it “could” be the evaporator. They quoted us a total of $1500 for the needed repairs but were only about 85% sure that would resolve the issues. If that didn’t work, then they would need to replace the compressor which would cost another $700, putting us at a total of over $2000. We asked them to NOT make the repairs because we felt the quote was very high, having had this same issue in another of our Honda’s and we were told we live on the beach so things are more expensive. We had to pay $124 just for them to look at it and not know exactly what was wrong, but to guess. Then as I was leaving with the vehicle to take it somewhere else the Manager/Owner Jeff told me he hoped I would be able to get it fixed, like if I left I had NO chance of having the issue resolved. We took it to another local mechanic who said the only issue was a relay switch, which they didn’t even charge us to replace. The air is now working great. We called Jeff back to let him know the situation and to explain we felt Taken advantage of with a costly unnecessary repair suggestion, but mostly we felt that the charge to look at it was excessive. The new mechanic did the same diagnostic work and actually fixed it and didn’t even charge us for that repair or part. Jeff did not even offer us a refund on our payment we made or even ask how to make the situation right. Jeff just stated that they do not suggest work not needed. He He also said that the repair made was impossible to have fixed the issue, however that is what happened. Then he even said that maybe them removing some excess Freon from the car may have dislodged a blockage and “MAGICALLY” fixed the issue. So not only did he not fix the issue, but somehow claims the mechanic that DID fix it didn’t actually fix it, but they “ACCIDENTALLY” fixed it so we should be happy. I do not recommend using this mechanic. And if you do, make sure and do you homework. Not just about the price but the actual work that is being claimed needs to be done.

    Accurate Japanese Repair Inc were excellent. I had taken the car to several other places to correct the problem - the timing belt kept breaking. This Company actually found the problem which was a worn part and it is now fixed. They are very knowledgeable and found the problem which no one else could. I had the car in other places and it cost me several thousand dollars trying to diagnose this problem. They found it right away. They are knowledgeable about foreign cars, which mine is, and they had the parts there. They were very efficient, they didn't do anything they didn't need to do, and they solved the problem. They took me right away and they did the job within one day.
