Fast, friendly and efficient.  Great organization.  They don't try to oversell unnecessary services like other corporate dental practices.  This one is a top notch family practice.

Awesome practice, I just think they are over priced with everything. My husband went to another dentist in the area and had to have a crown on the same tooth that I need one done. His total cost was several hundreds of dollars less that what I was quoted!

I've been going there for 10 years. It turned out perfectly. What keeps me going back is the expertise and staff. You name it, they have it. Dr. Ottley is excellent. She is very particular about her work. She is always learning. She is always improving. We've never ever had a problem. She's done crowns, she has done deep cleaning for me. You name it, she's done it and we've had absolutely no problems whatsoever.

    Alan McGinnis, Dmd

I first saw Dr. McGinnis in September of 2014 to establish myself with a local dentist after moving to Pace, FL.  I choose Dr. McGinnis because he seemed to be highly qualified to meet my needs and his office was very close to my home.

Although the initial visit went well and Dr. McGinnis and his staff were very personable, I didn't have any real work done to create more than a general impression of him.

A few months later I developed a very bad tooth ache while on vacation and saw a dentist in Columbia, MO as an emergency.  His diagnosis was that I had a tooth that was abscessed and was going to need a root canal and provided me with antibiotics and pain killers to last me till I got home.

Upon returning home I went to see Dr. McGinnis who x-rayed the tooth and said that the abscess was not evident from the x-ray and wanted to take a wait and see approach before performing a costly root canal.  Since I was not experience a lot of discomfort at hat time I agreed and we went a few more weeks before I came to the conclusion that the discomfort that I was experiencing was not going away.  On my second visit Dr. McGinnis for the abscessed tooth he started the root canal and finished up about 3 weeks later with the filling.  After the filling however I noticed that my bite was a bit off and was causing some discomfort so I called Dr. McGinnis's after hour number and he surprised me by having him come to his office on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite adjustment.

At one point in my life I was almost ripped off by a dentist that was going to do several thousand dollars worth of unnecessary procedures just to get money from my insurance provider.  I was saved from this act by an honest dentist who only replaced a cracked filling at a nominal charge.  By taking his wait and see approach on my abscessed tooth Dr. McGinnis demonstrated to me that he is also an honest dentist  who is looking after his patient's interest first and foremost.  The second thing I hugely appreciated was Dr. McGinnis's desire to see that a patient was not having to suffer prolong discomfort by making a bite adjustment on a Sunday afternoon.  Bottom line is that I feel that Dr. McGinnis is a very good dentist and recommend him highly to anyone needing a good dentist in the Pace/Milton Florida area.

They've always been good and I think their prices are a little bit cheaper than some of the other dentists. The office is in an old building but the people who work there are fine. If you have something that needs to be done, they'll schedule you. You don't have to wait very long.

    Callahan Jr, Dr. James
The doctor was knowledgeable and professional.  Before we moved, his previous dentist had told him he needed quite a bit of work done.  After seeing Dr Callahan, he told him he did not need all of that, and even explained by showing him the x-rays.

    Kim Jernigan DMD
Dr. Jernigan is the best dentist my husband and I have ever seen. Not only is she knowledgeable, she shows sincere interest in the patient as a person. Possibly the most important, she has an unbelievably compassionate, caring, professional, punctual, and friendly staff. Everyone in her employment from the receptionists to her dental hygienists are top notch. We have been under her care since moving to the Pensacola area over 6 years ago, and can't imagine going to anyone else.

    Bernal, Dr. Miguel A.
He was our first dentist and he has continued to do a wonderful job. The staff is very friendly, the office is very clean and neat. He is very personable and will ask you and they know we adopted our children and they want to know how they are going. I would absolutely use him again and again.

After Dental Tech looked at my teeth and took numerous x-rays, she recommended a periodontal cleaning. Dr. Forrest Faulkner came in room, introduced herself and asked if I had any questions. I had never had a periodontal cleaning as I had never been told I needed one. Dr. Faulkner proceeded to give me 8 shots - 2 top right, 2 top left, 2 bottom left and 2 bottom right. On the first shot my tongue felt as if it had been zapped. I told her, but she wasn't concerned and said that was normal. She seemed rushed and after giving shots, left the room. My mouth was so numb when I left ADC I could barely talk. When I went to bed that night, the left side of my tongue was still numb (approximately 8 hours after shot). I called ADC the next morning and was told that was normal and to wait until Monday, 13 May. When I called Monday, I was put off again.
I finally called my insurance and they authorized me to see another dentist. This new dentist recommended seeing an Oral Surgeon. The Oral Surgeon stated that my numbness was caused from the lingual nerve being severed by the shot being given so deep. The Oral Surgeon prescribed steroids to assist in getting some of the feeling back stating that he hoped I would get 90% of feeling back but probably never 100%. He also stated that what feeling I would have after 6 months, would be all I could hope for. The new dentist did state I didn't need a periodontal cleaning to begin with.
It has now been over a year and I still do not have complete feeling in my tongue.

I was pleased with the service there. They were good about explaining about what was going on, what they were doing and I had an little bit of an unusual crown that they were getting made for me. I think the dentist there went out of his way to make certain that what they did worked extremely well for me. It is an extremely friendly office and they were always willing to answer any questions I had.
