    Pain Consultants West Florida
They were horrible. The first time I went there, they had lost all the records that my doctors had sent them. They treated me like I was drug seeking or something. Then, they prescribed medication for me. None of my doctors have ever hesitated to fill out a form for the insurance company and they didn't fill it out. I could get it for free if they filled it out, $50 if they didn't. They kept telling me they did fill it out and they didn't. What they did was they got Tricare and Medicare mixed up. So, then I go for these appointments and after like the third appointment, he decides to change my medication because I didn't get it filled because I was waiting to get the insurance form filled out and then, he went out and told the doctor that I had said that I should just go see another doctor and he comes back saying, "Well, doctor so and so said that you're welcome to go seek care else where." So, I did. They're supposed to provide your records when you request them within certain days. It took eight weeks and they kept telling me they were sending my records to this other doctor and they never did. I had to go pick them up by hand. I started reading my records and they had put so much BS in my records. They put in there that I had four alcoholic drinks a day. When I filled out the thing, I put I had four a month. On my last visit, he said that I had said all these things about the doctor I hadn't said. They were trying to cover their backs. They were just horrible. They have a beautiful office with all this technology and everything. DEA has got so hard on narcotics. In Florida, the DEA has got really really hard. Basically they're putting the doctors out of business and so now they want only pain management doctors to prescribe narcotic pain medications. And so that's why it's really hard to get an appointment with one. It's just an attitude of they know that you need them a lot worse than they need you. The doctor who was treating me had never seen my MRI or X-rays. The next pain management doctor I finally got to was like, "Oh my God. I can't believe you have this much arthritis in your spine."

    hHealthSource of Pace, FL Chiropractor
I've been seeing a chiropractor for four months and I've been going there three days a week. They have two chiropractors in there. They also do physical exercise. They also have a machine called P-way machine, they run it all over your back. They say they are the only ones in the area who have that. Its a very expensive machine made in Germany. They have experienced chiropractors. They were good but they don't take medicare any more. I like all of them. I have not had any problems with them

    Arnold, Dr. Scott
Dr Arnold is very personable and easy to like. My wife and I have both gone to several chiropractors over the years and after a while we can tell when one knows what he is doing and is making progress. Dr Arnold was able to figure out the problems and get us going again as quickly as possible considering the injuries.
My complaint was a lower back pain and he was able to get me re-aligned with no problem. He also figured out that the lawn mower was the cause of my problem. I switched to a self-propelled mower and have not needed to see him again after the first few visits.
My wife felt a and quot;popand quot; in her elbow while moving stuff out of our storage POD. Our family doctor said he would refer her to an orthopedic surgeon and we were NOT thrilled by that idea so I found Dr Arnold on Angie's List because we wanted to try less invasive solutions than surgery. Dr Arnold diagnosed her problem and was able to get her feeling better again with a few sessions using chiropractic and cold-laser therapy. Her recovery hit a plateau for several weeks and then got better again. When she stopped seeing him for the problem her elbow was as good as it has been in several years.
The ONLY down-side I have with Dr Arnold is that my insurance is not accepted there. If it was, my out-of-pocket cost for seeing him would be lower. That said, comparing the cost of chiropractic vs traditional medicine and/or surgery, it is worth the additional out-of-pocket expense in order to get great care and zero recovery time using an excellent chiropractor like Dr Arnold.

The Penton House Salon & Day Spa
I went online to get my wife a gift card for her Birthday and I saw the spa treatment she wanted and a price. When I went to the salon to purchase the card, I was quoted a price of $13 more. When I asked why, I was told the price online indicates the starting price, but we have no one working at that price level.
So,the person behind the counter said experience didn't influence the price, but the length of service. So, depending on the massage tech's length of service at the Penton House, dictates the price of the massage.
Bottom line. The pricing online is misleading and arbitrary. The massage tech you get may noy be the most experienced, but could be the most expensive.

    Massage Envy - Pensacola
I have had a membership at Massage Envy in Pensacola for almost two years now, but have only had about 4 or five massages to date. This is partially due to my schedule and the fact that I am not near there that often, and partially due to the inability to get an appointment at a convenient time for me. I dealt with the ineptitude of the front desk staff twice in my first few visits, where I had scheduled with a specific therapist and was instead put with someone else. The reception area atmosphere is always one of hard-core sales, trying to get people to sign up for memberships.
Recently, when I inquired about transferring some of my back-logged massages which I have been paying for monthly for nearly two years, but have been unable to use, I was told I could only transfer one per month, and only to the same person once in six months. I told them that I wanted to stop my monthly payments because I just wasn't using it enough and wanted to give some of my massages away to friends in the form of a certificate, which I would pay the $10 transfer fee for, instead of just giving her (the Massage Envy manager) the name and email address of people I wanted to transfer them to, I was told, "You can't just have whatever you want. We have rules and I am trying to run a business here!'. I was not aware of those rules and thought I could transfer some the same way I got my first one from a friend who had been a member. She had given me one of her transfers with a certificate at Christmas one year. That is how I became a member. Wow!
When I was there last week for my massage and the transfer to my friend who came there with me, I asked them to take the $10 transfer fee out of my debit card, as well as a $5 tip for each of the two massage therapists. When the receptionist  told me that she couldn't split the additional $10 into two tips, I just told her to forget it and I would pay the tip in cash, which I then did. Well, the $10 appeared on my bank statement twice anyway, once for the transfer, and again for the tip, which she told me she had not charged me for. When I called them about it, they said that I had to bring in my bank statement to prove that they had charged me twice and that they didn't have record of it. How does that happen?
It has just been one negative experience after another, dealing with the administrative staff there.
While I was on the phone with the manager to whom I was specifically transferred because I was obviously irate about my experiences, she suddenly said, "Hold on please, I have someone in front of me", and put me on hold for about 10 minutes. I asked her when she came back if she would have put someone who was right in front of her on hold for ten minutes to answer a phone call, or to talk to someone else who was also right in front of her, she said no, and said she was sorry, though not very convincingly. She clearly had limited comprehension of proper business etiquette or common sense. This was the same person who soon after told me that I couldn't have whatever I wanted.

My husband and I didn't like the fact that our son was obviously traumatized by the situation so we decided to pull him out of daycare after going for only 2 days. We paid the $35 Registration Fee and for 2 weeks up front. In all, we spent $275 for 2 days worth of services. When asked if I could get at least the second week back, I was told that it can take up to two months for children to adjust to going to daycare. I was appalled that she expected me to leave my son there and essentially let him "cry it out" for 2 months! I was also told that I've still paid for the following week if I decided I wanted to try again.
I am disgusted by the way the situation was handled. I understand that I signed paperwork but it seems to me that the right thing to do would've been to give me back at least the second week. Seemed reasonable to me that she keep the first week and do the right thing, morally and give me my money back for the second week. My husband and I work hard and we don't have money to just give away. She had a waiting list for my son's age so filling his spot was not going to be a problem.
The greed that was displayed is unbelievable!

    Medical Center Clinic
Both experiences I'd rate A+++. My emergency room visit in the middle of the afternoon involved an xray of my broken toe. I was in and out the door in exactly 1 hour! Everyone employed by this hospital and medical center are wonderful.
My Achilles surgery was 3/1/13 done by Dr. Enad on outpatient basis. Dr. Enad (ortho) is great and the hospital the best. Every person I've come in contact with from pre-op to follow-up were professional, courteous, efficient and caring.
I've had many appointments with the lab and radiation department over the years and all have been pleasant experiences.

    Arnold, Dr. Scott
I would highly recommend him. I had a car accident in March and I the day after the accident I found myself having trouble breathing. I went into his office and he checked me out. I realized I had bruised muscles and ribs and he really helped me to feel better. He adjusted me so that I felt like I could breathe again.

    Sackheim, Dr. Robert M.
The first month he kept me on my original therapy, and then increased or adjusted my meds from there. Plus he gave me a diet and excercise program that was easy to follow and glad to report I have lost 12 pounds in the last month!

    Berryhill Orthopedics
They are prompt and efficient. The doctor is very kind and personable and so is his staff. He is as available as any surgeon. The office is very neat, clean, efficient and very friendly receptionists. Only if the doctor has an emergency, he runs late. I never had to wait over ten minutes. The doctor is very quiet, laid back, and very thorough and competent. Effectiveness of treatment is very good. I would use them in the future.
