    Steve is very personable. He seems honest and genuine. Willing to try checking out car air conditioning but admitted he would be leaving for the holiday and may not get to it until Monday. No charge for checking even if I cannot afford repairs. Final total very reasonable for work done.

    Honda of the Avenues
    I choose them because they had a cheaper price. About a year after they replaced the brakes, I went in for an oil change somewhere else, and I found out they put faulty repair parts in. I should not have been replacing brakes after a year on a car that was only four years old. 

    I had went to another dealership and the mechanic took me in the back and let me take a picture of the faulty parts. That's how bad it was. You don't play with people's brakes. That's disgraceful. They used faulty parts and charged me the regular price. They didn't give me a discount to use less than standard parts. They turned out to not even be Honda parts. 

    Because of what they did, I went back again to address what was going on. I happen to speak to one of the guy's I worked with. I used to know about Honda's. He got me into a new car. That part of the deal was good, so I never ended up talking to the mechanical personnel about what was going on. I was quite upset, and I was going to take it up as high as I could go, but I never got to that point because I ended up trading the car in and getting a new car.

    There is non when you go in. You have a wait.  I'd probably drop my car off if I have to. If you have to sit and wait it could be a couple of hours. They could improve on their wait time. They need more service people and mechanics. Their good about trying to help you though.

    It was synthetic oil and I know it's more expensive. They did give me a coupon. They did submit it so I would get $20 back. They're very good. They try not to keep you waiting. I dropped it off, I went to work, it's 2 miles from my house.  The car is like 2 years old. Everything was fine. They could work on lowering their prices on oil changes and tire rotation.

    It's terrible. You go in and buy a Cadillac and you expect to get a certain quality of care. They are the worst that you have ever seen. I bought my vehicle from them. The car is nice but if it wasn't under warranty it would have cost us a fortune to fix. Their service department is absolutely horrid. I think they thought that because I was a woman I would not question them on it because they tried to pass off used parts as new. I can tell the difference. They were awful. My husband came back from the service and had to fix everything. Once you buy the car they are not worth dealing with.

    The car was washed, hand waxed, tires are immaculate, headlights cleaned, windows (inside and out), leather seats were treated, carpets were pressure washed, and the truck totally cleaned.  WOW, WOW, WOW.  I rate the service provided by Ken a 15 on a scale of 1 - 10.  I will definitely be using American Detailing again.

    Difficulty getting services scheduled initially due to limited workers and business located out of Daytona Beach.  Had issues with trafiic delays and fighting rainy weather.  However, persisted, and Reese, adding Jacksonville staff to handle increasing business.  Once on site without weather issues, job was done and very satisfied.

    Making the reservation was easy. Cindy Behun provided me with accurate information and responded to my (many) additional questions promptly and completely.
    The transport service arrived for pickup exactly when scheduled. The driver was very professional and accommodating. Although Cindy had originally prepared me to expect to be without a car for possibly 48-72 hours, the driver told me he might arrive in Florida before I did (which would've been the following night). He was available for status checks during our trip south. As it turns out, he arrived a few hours after us, which worked out perfectly. I was without my own car for less than three hours after I arrived, and was there to receive it in person. I couldn't have been more pleased.
    I'd work with Executive Auto Shippers again in a heartbeat. The only caveat I'd offer is to ascertain with the shippers when they call to make final arrangements whether you can pay by credit card or need to have the balance in cash. I was surprised that I couldn't use a credit card, but fortunately had the cash on hand. A small matter, but worth mentioning.

    First Coast Diesel Performance
    I Took my truck in to First Coast Diesel Performance get an estimate for some work that needed to be done on Thursday afternoon. I talked to Justin, and was told that they would have me an estimate by noon the next day (Friday). I called back at 12:30 on Friday and was told the tech was out to lunch. Waited until 2:30pm and called back. I was then told that the tech had just got back and that he didn't have it diagnosed yet. I called back at 4:30 pm and was then told by Justin that they were waiting on a parts quote from Dodge. I then ask when I would have the estimate for sure, because I was going out of town. I was promised by Justin that someone would contact me Saturday with the estimate. Saturday came and went and of course Sunday did as well, still no word from FCDP. On Monday I had to work and got off early so I could go by the shop in person. This was at 2:30 pm with still not a word about the estimate that I was promised. When I dropped in at the shop I was finally told how much the job would cost. At this point I was so frustrated with the run around and their total lack of customer service, that I no longer wanted FCDP to do the work for me and I took my truck down the road to another auto repair service. I understand that things happen sometimes, but it doesn't take much effort to pick up a phone and call the customer to explain what is going on with their vehicle. I for one will spend my money with someone that at least acts like they want my business.

    The car looked brand new, the carpet had all types of spills in the back, and the dash and upholstry  had not been cleaned in two plus years since my husband used it as his work car.  The car was spic and sopan, I am giving it to my daugher-in-law who is in
    need of a vehicle since they moved to the Atlanta, GA area.  This young man worked in the rain but still performed the service efficiently without sacrificing quality.  I would use him again in a heart beat!
