    Reynolds Home Builders
Reynolds Home Builders did an outstanding job. When we were looking for a contractor Debbie was the only one who actually listened to what my fianc wanted as opposed to trying to talk her into what they wanted to do. Miles, the Forman responded promptly to every call. As with all big projects there were a few bumps in the road. However, Miles and Debbie addressed every concern we had. They and their team were very professional. I am typing this review while sitting in our new room and enjoying football. I highly recommend Reynolds Home Builders.

    Handyman Matters of Tallahassee
Everything went great. Kelly Duvall was my first contact with the company. She was very helpful and set up a date and time for the estimate. That day was 11-03-2017 @ 11:00am. Tony Snyder was the handyman she said would be coming to our house to do the estimate. Mr. Snyder was on time (actually 15 minutes early). We talked for about 15 minutes and I gave him a list of the specific jobs that needed to be done. He took some photos with his smart phone, and worked up his estimate in another 15 minutes. The estimated price range I signed off on was $955.00 - $1,126.00. He said it was priced on the high side and could be lower, but everything depended on labor and materials. The job was actually started on 11-29-2017 by Tony Snyder, and 90% of the work was done by 12-05-2017. The last part of the job was staining the front porch, steps, and trim, but the weather would not cooperate. Mr. Snyder said it had to be a certain temperature to stain (think he said 60 degrees) and it could not be wet weather. It rained off and on most of the time, and the temperatures here in Tallahassee were in the teens, 20's, and 30's. It even snowed one day (first time since 1987). He was eventually able to finish the job on 02-19-2018. The final price was nearly $600.00 more than high end estimate, but we had asked him to do a couple other things after the job had started and he did the estimate based on us buying the paint and stain. The end result was a job we were very happy with. Tony kept in touch with us for the whole duration of the job especially when the weather did not cooperate. We have some more exterior jobs, and some interior ones to be done in 2018 / 2019, and Handy Man Matters is the company we will use, and will be using Tony Snyder as our go to man for the jobs.

    COPPEDGE HOME IMPROVEMENTS
David never kept his promises, had to to supervised him whenever he did show up, he had problems getting materials to the job site, he began to not show up, wouldn't answer his phone, return texts or emails, his sub contractors called and complained about not being paid, he eventually quit showing up with no communication. Another contractor had to be hired to complete the job. David talks the talk, comes across as a nice guy that will do the job right, but when it comes to performance forget about it. Its my opinion, but do not hire him!!!!!

    Bill Bond Construction
He's great. He is a really great guy. It was a wonderful experience. He owns his own construction company and has his own payroll instead of contracting that work out. He gets back to me very soon after contact. I use him exclusively. In the end he gives me a fair price and less than competitors. He is very straightforward and honest. He is very friendly and has a great personality.

    Jett Builders Inc
The job was to take 6 weeks from start to finish.  it is still unfinsihed 6 months later.  The builder comes in with a low bid and lots of verbal promises and once the contract is signed it isnt there.  He also tries to collect his draws before work is completed.  If you do use this builder be sure to get everything in writing no matter what is promised, including wood products vs pressed wood, moving lights or appliances. He also seriously low bid allowances for tile and granite. Fogot to add an allowance for kithen fixtures, etc. Walked out on our job when I refused to pay draw for kitchen cabinets and bookshelf installation when only base cabinet boxes had been installed.  No pantry cabinet, no bookshelves, no doors, drawers, hardware or glass. Beware!!!

    Bentz Remodeling
My wife worked with Scott Bentz and his team, they did a terrific job. Great price, called daily with updates and we were able to reach him after hours when necessary. His team was professional, explained everything they did. Great experience on our first ever renovation project, would definately use them again and recommend to friends.

    Smith Plumbing Co
Our contractor used Smith Plumbing in our master bathroom remodel. Our main concern, which is not yet resolved after 4 attempts, is that our free standing tub leaks. They can't seem to figure out why.  We asked for a partial refund and never heard back from the owner. We didn't have any problems with the undersink installation, but they did install one of the bathroom faucets unevenly.  They came back in a timely manner to correct it and put it the same distance from the backsplash as the other faucet. Another issue we had was with the installation of the valves for the shower.  The handles were suppose to be flush with the tile, but they stick out quite a bit. Once the tile was installed there was nothing to be done about it..
We are not pleased with the quality of work that Smith Plumbing does and would NEVER use them again. Neither would our contractor.

    Dender Remodeling and Construction
Mr. Dender was prompt and professional in his initial meeting and with his estimates for each section of work to be done.
All work was done timely, done well, and at a reasonable and the quoted cost.  We had an unexpected plumbing problem related to the work, and it was taken care of immediately, even though it was on the weekend.
Everything was cleaned up, no debris was left from the demo. and we are very happy with the final outcome. Even my neighbor across the street and the lawn maintenance gentleman mentioned how nice a job had been done.
I would gladly recommend him for this type of work.

    All Custom Aluminum
Had a large aluminum screen room addition added to my house. Andray and the team at All Custom were above and beyond. The first contact was getting an estimate based on what I wanted and a bid.  Andray came out and went over everything and included options of what I could do based on what I was asking for and not trying to up sell me on something I did not want.  So not only was the bid based on what I wanted but it was fair and they were able to provide it back to me in time they promised it.  Then  the day came for the work to be performed and it was just amazing how fast the team was able to get the screen addition on my home considering it has the size of 10 ft  by 35.5 ft.  On the first day on-site they made sure to go over all the details with me to insure that it would be how I wanted it before even unloading their truck.  An then the crew continued throughout the build to make sure that for any questions that they did check with me before just doing it to insure they were still giving me what I wanted.  They also answered the many question that I had about things during the build so that I would know exactly what I was getting and how it was being put together at various points during the build.  I was pleasantly surprised with how much time they would take to insure they fully answered my questions. Once the job was finished they cleaned up everything and actually left the area cleaner than when they showed up.  I was totally impressed with the quality of their work and have enjoyed several evenings in my new screened porch.  An they have even contacted me since then to check in with me and to insure that I was satisfied and did not have any issues that they would need to take care.  Which there have been none and I wish I had done this years earlier.  I totally trust that if I have any issue or need any work done that I needed to call them to do that they would take care of it.   Big thanks to all the guys at All Custom.

    BEC & CO
The crew did a good job, but they waited to do the work until the very last minute, which caused unnecessary stress to us. They were good about cleaning up, but they were smoking very close to the house and in the garage on one day when it rained. This brought the smell of cigarettes into the home.
