    RBP Painting & Maintenance
We had a great experience with RBP on our kitchen renovation. He came up with a great design and the guys did a great job. They were very professional and we couldnt be happier with the outcome! Thank you for another great job!

    Superior Painting
This company comes out and gives you an estimate for the work you desire. Marshall was good about listening to our concerns and offered suggestions for getting the job done right. Once we received the estimate it took a couple of weeks for them to begin our project. There were 2 painters for most of the project, a third painter for a few days and another employee who replaced the toe board under our cabinets. These four men: TY, John Miller, Charles and Scott all went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and that the job was completed to our satisfaction. They were ALL professional, courteous and personable. It took 10 business days to complete the job as our house has 12 foot ceilings, crown molding, chair railing and wainscoting in a majority of the rooms. We are very pleased with the end product and our house looks beautiful!

    KING CONSTRUCTION
We had Gary redo our entire master bathroom; from ripping out the old, moldy shower compartment, the built-in jacuzzi and attached vanity, and all the tile on the floors and walls, to re-tiling the whole thing, painting, installing all the fixtures, the tub, toilet, and new vanity. The work shows great attention to detail and is beautifully finished. Gary made sure we knew exactly what was going on and when, and explained anything we weren't sure about so we could be confident in our decisions. It took about a month and a half but some of that was waiting on deliveries of the tile, tub, and vanity. We've been getting a lot of compliments

    Superior Painting
Excellent job. Painters (Donna, Tiffany, Lisa) arrived on time everyday, did a professional job, and cleaned up their worksite everyday. As with any renovation, changes and hiccups occur requiring additional work. No problem for this crew nor for Superior Painting. Well done. Multiple subs in the house at the same time (drywall, wood repair, plumber) and Donna coordinated the work load and timing to continue their overwhelming task of painting multiple rooms and baths. She definitely works well with others. Well done, Donna! She also assisted Joe, who painted our outbuilding (workshop), by painting all the trim and accents. All their work looks wonderful.

    KING CONSTRUCTION
Mr. King did absolutely excellent work. He was always punctual, friendly, and exceptionally hardworking. He worked beautifully with my painters to ensure everything was done quickly and with nobody interrupting the other. Best of all, he was very willing to offer his opinions on other potential repair work, in my case a bit of saggy flooring. I would recommend him to anybody who needs repair work, and especially to anybody needing work done on a wooden screen porch as that is getting harder to find these days.

    Superior Painting
We were very disappointed in the work done. The quality was not there. Ceilings were very streaky as were the walls. Paint was splattered on appliances and other surfaces and not cleaned up. We had them back three times to correct these errors. It was still sub par. The saddest part was that They did not see the mistakes that we thought were so very obvious.

Always exceeds expectations. Always on time, and extremely professional. Price is always competitive. I'm a Building Contractor, and have been using this company for a long time. I've never been anything but happy.

    Reynolds Home Builders
Reynolds Home Builders did an outstanding job. When we were looking for a contractor Debbie was the only one who actually listened to what my fianc wanted as opposed to trying to talk her into what they wanted to do. Miles, the Forman responded promptly to every call. As with all big projects there were a few bumps in the road. However, Miles and Debbie addressed every concern we had. They and their team were very professional. I am typing this review while sitting in our new room and enjoying football. I highly recommend Reynolds Home Builders.

    Handyman Matters of Tallahassee
Everything went great. Kelly Duvall was my first contact with the company. She was very helpful and set up a date and time for the estimate. That day was 11-03-2017 @ 11:00am. Tony Snyder was the handyman she said would be coming to our house to do the estimate. Mr. Snyder was on time (actually 15 minutes early). We talked for about 15 minutes and I gave him a list of the specific jobs that needed to be done. He took some photos with his smart phone, and worked up his estimate in another 15 minutes. The estimated price range I signed off on was $955.00 - $1,126.00. He said it was priced on the high side and could be lower, but everything depended on labor and materials. The job was actually started on 11-29-2017 by Tony Snyder, and 90% of the work was done by 12-05-2017. The last part of the job was staining the front porch, steps, and trim, but the weather would not cooperate. Mr. Snyder said it had to be a certain temperature to stain (think he said 60 degrees) and it could not be wet weather. It rained off and on most of the time, and the temperatures here in Tallahassee were in the teens, 20's, and 30's. It even snowed one day (first time since 1987). He was eventually able to finish the job on 02-19-2018. The final price was nearly $600.00 more than high end estimate, but we had asked him to do a couple other things after the job had started and he did the estimate based on us buying the paint and stain. The end result was a job we were very happy with. Tony kept in touch with us for the whole duration of the job especially when the weather did not cooperate. We have some more exterior jobs, and some interior ones to be done in 2018 / 2019, and Handy Man Matters is the company we will use, and will be using Tony Snyder as our go to man for the jobs.

    Nail It Carpentry
Did not hire contractor for the job. I called Claudio Escalera of Nail it Carpentry at 445-6893. He is on Angies List and has his own website of which I visited and it indicated that he does all the items needed to do our job. I sent an email to his email address of everything we needed done at nailitcarpentry@hotmail.com, before actually calling him. When I spoke to him he said his secretary checks the emails and replies back about setting up appointments. An appointment was made and he was scheduled to come to our house on 10-30-2017 @ 6:00pm to give the estimate. On 10-30-2017 Mr. Escalera came in person and on time to do the estimate. He wrote down his notes, took his measurements, and gave me his business card and said the estimate amount would be sent in an email reply. He talked to both my wife and I and made some different suggestions. We were very impressed by his knowledge of his work and he made many suggestions that we felt comfortable with. A week later on 11-06-2017, I emailed him to see if he had sent the estimate to us as it wasn't in my inbox and thought it may have been lost in transition. He replied back the next day in an email saying: Hello, I'm sorry for the delay. I will send you the estimate as soon as possible. Thank you, Claudio Escalera Nail It Carpentry LLC. Two week....three weeks....five weeks went by and I never got a reply email of the estimate. Today is Monday, 12-24-2017 and it has been 8 weeks since Mr. Escalera was at our house writing up his notes to send us his estimate. Because of his knowledge and suggestions of things to do, we probably would have accepted his price regardless of what it was as we really liked him on that day he came to our house and really felt comfortable. If he didn't want to do the job after all, as a business man he should have indicated so in an email or phone call to us. The company we went with (on Angie's list as well) gave us an estimate on the same day they visited our home to review what we wanted done.
