    Orsillo Vision Care and Optical
He's great. Everybody there is wonderful. I love them. My husband and I both go, and we love them. We've been going to him for about 5 years now. He's very personable and professional. Everybody there is professional. He really does a thorough job.

    Hill, Dr. Cory

The cataracts are not so bad that Dr. Hill thinks they should be removed, his advice was the same as last year's:  I'll know myself when it is time because of poor  vision.  He also gave me a new contact lens (no charge) to try out for two weeks to see if there is an improvement in vision.  When I came back , he finished the exam to my satisfaction and also gave me a prescription for Allegren's Restasis 0.05% emulsion to help alleviate a dry eye problem that keeps me awake at night.

I think he listens to my complaints and suggests workable solutions and will continue to use his services.

    Palmer, Dr. Richard M.
His office is up-to-date and he has an assistant which I also see. They're very nice and thorough. My husband visits him too and we're both happy with him. The fact that he got my husband into another place for surgery is just great.

    Eye Associates of Tallahassee
The cataract surgeries and all visits with Dr. Bui and Eye Associates of Tallahassee were outstanding. Dr. Bui, the nurses, and administrative staff were all fantastic. I have also used them (earlier this year) and had the same outstanding experience.

    Hamilton, Dr. Richard D.
I arrived at the office and was greeted by the front office staff. Dr. Hamilton's assistant April took me to the exam room and performed preliminary retinal imaging, glaucoma testing, visual acuity tests. Dr. Hamilton reviewed the results of my tests, checked my current contact lenses and prescription, examined my eyes and checked my vision using a series of lenses to adjust the acuity with multifocal contact lenses. I was given a trial lens to use and if I was satisfied with the visual results to order a supply. Dr. Hamilton is truly amazing with his expertise in visual correction and contact lens fitting.
I have been a patient of his for many years. He and his staff are very professional, excellent, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Hamilton and his staff!

    Detwiler, Dr. Karen
We started seeing Dr. Detwiler in March of 1984. We continued to use her even when she switched from working at an HMO to having her own practice. She is a wonderful doctor and has always been wonderful. She is great at relating to her patients. Her office staff is very helpful and efficient.

    The Hour Glass
The staff is courteous and professional. I've done walk ins for my entire family and separate appointments. I was given the same level of service each time. They verify your benefits prior to your appointment to take the guesswork out of co-pays and contacts/pricing.
I must note, the doctor's office is part of Southeast Eye Specialists (separate from The Hour Glass). I am always provided with my prescription and order my glasses online due to cost savings. I usually only buy contacts during my visit since I use my benefits for those and the price difference between ordering online versus the doctor's office is minimal.

    Palmer, Dr. Richard M.
I had two different surgeries, one for each eye on different days. There was pain in one eye during one surgery (and constant chatter during surgery about the anesthesiologist's trip to Greece) and I felt that no one was paying attention to what they were doing (just how I felt, not necessarily true). After both eyes were done, I was unable to read or see clearly unless I was outdoors in bright sunshine. Dr. Palmer said I needed to allow my brain adapt to the new lenses. I gave it six months, but there was no change. I went back and he said give it more time. Finally I went to my optometrist who made me new progressive lens glasses that I now needed for my near vision, mid range vision, distance vision. After my cataract surgery, I now need glasses all of the time in order to read books, clean the house, read street signs. I wish that I had never gone to Dr. Palmer. He comes highly recommended and many people say he is a wonderful doctor. My own optometrist (who I trust completely) recommended Dr. Palmer. I simply want to add this to Angie's list to let people know that there is at least one dissatisfied patient in Tallahassee.

Follow-up, Update 2014: Dr. Palmer's office sent several cards saying they were sorry I was unhappy. Despite what Dr. Palmer promised, , my brain never and quot;adjustedand quot; to the new lenses. It's been over three years and I believe my eyes have adjusted all they are going to, which is not at all. I still need progressive lens eyeglasses for near, mid range and distance vision. I have fallen down the stairs twice and broken the cubiod bone in my foot as a result of not being able to see where i was stepping. Every time I need to take something outdoors in order to read it, or trip because of the progressive lenses I now need, I think of Dr. Palmer and wish that I had never ever met him. He seemed so nice and honest and caring.

    Flink, Dr. Frederick F.
Dr. Flink has great bedside manner! He is very thorough and explains things well without over reacting. He was able to interact well with daughter who had some anxiety with being examined for the first time. He had her laughing and happy very quickly. We were both happy with the results. I got new contacts that work and she got glasses for driving. I was pleased that he offered us an option for her rather than trying to push the more expensive contacts.

    Flink, Dr. Frederick F.
Dr. Flink is very thorough. There are some places where the doctors rely completely on the machinery. However, Dr. Flink relies on the machinery as well as deals in the old fashioned way. So he knows what he is doing. He listens and is very good as well as excellent. Everything about him is perfect and I would definitely use his services in the future too.
