  • My 88 year old father had been very weak the last month of his life, but I really wasn't expecting him to die so quickly. He fell on thursday night, we picked him up, and on friday morning he was confused, so we called 911. He looked bad on friday and saturday but good on sunday. I even got a chance to pray with him, for God's peace, before I left sunday. A few hours later I got the phone call, Dad was dead.
So I looked on Angies List, and looked at their website and a few other websites and read a few articles about planning a funeral and read some funeral horror stories. I decided to call them. Jack Hagin was very pleasant and professional on the phone, and I went to his business armed with printouts from his website. Turns out he had them same pricelists from the website printed and in plain view in the office. He had a number of urns (which we didn't use, but they were nice) and choices for coffins, prayer cards or memorial service bulletins to choose from. I made my decision to use their services, and picked out everything I needed to, and paid him (No payment plan and no checks but he takes everything else). I had brought clothes for Dad to be buried in, and I had brought Moms ashes in an urn to be placed in the casket with him. I faxed him a few papers that I had not brought with me during the week, and we spoke 2-3 times about details, and everything was completely perfect. He handled all the paperwork for me, even arranging a second tombstone marker for my mother (who was not military but wanted to be buried with my father) at the Military cemetery.
When my family all got in 10 days later, the funeral went off without a hitch. Jack Hagin did everything he said he was going to. He said they would be at the church at a certain time and they were there long before that. After the memorial service, there was an hour drive to the cemetery, and he was there at the time he said he would be there. They were professional and I would use them again.

  • Excellent!  All staff were professional, timely, thorough and remained compassionate and professional during a difficult time.

I know I left m sister in good hands with Florida Cremation Services, LLC., and would definitely recommend their services, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

  • I really need help with this: A bronze marker for my husband's grave was ordered in August, 2005 and installed in November, 2005. A year later, I noticed a leaf stuck to the monument. When removed, the brown coating (paint) on the bronze came off with the leaf. I called and they repaired it. Now, four years later, not only is that spot back but the brown coating is peeling in other places. It looks like all the coating is coming off. I called the company again and was told they would check it when they got time. Nothing by July and I called back. They did not have time to talk to me. Too busy. I called the owner of the company Sandy Shultz at 786 547-0389 and told him the problem. He agreed to check into it for me. I told him I just wanted it fixed. Obviously something was defective with the bronze coating or the bronze itself. Again, no return call, no action. I called him two weeks ago and he said he no longer owns the company but he would let them know to contact me. Still no return call and nothing has been done at the gravesite. I called another company to see about repairs and they said this company manufacures their own bronze and they can't touch it. I really want this fixed and I don't want to buy an entirely new marker unless it is absolutely necessary. It cost a lot of money and I thought these monuments (markers) were meant to last forever. The company goes by three different names, Abe's Monument Wholesalers/Monuments in Bronze/Empire Bronze. Maybe that should have been a hint not to use this company. I have copies of the email sent to the company and Mr. Shultz, with pictures attached when only one spot was affected. I can take current pictures if that will help. The grave is located at Vista Memorial Gardens Section Fernlawn Lot 176 Grave 3&4. My husband's name Floyd Ivan Allbritton Abe's Monument Wholesalers 4811 East 11 Avenue Hialeah, Florida 33013 305 681-6300 Fax 305 681-7449

  • I think their prices are probably relatively reasonable. I love everything about them. If there is something I wanted, they could do it. They have everything including horse and buggies.
