AAmerica RemodelingRoberto and team were great!! They performed 3 months of work on our home and did amazing. We had new floors laid, a wall taken down, complete bathroom remodel (including changing the size, rerouting plumbing and electrical) , ceilings sand-blasted, all new light fixtures replaced, added more electrical outlets, hung light outside and walls painted. Roberto is so very kind, honest and prompt. He came and checked in on the quality of his teams work almost daily. The only reason that I gave a B on quality is that sometimes his team would miss things in the details, BUT as soon as I showed Roberto those things were fixed immediately. I've lived in Miami for years and have renovated multiple houses and used dozens of contractors. The trauma of working with Miami contractors of all stripes is real. Even high-priced contractors you're bound to get either a) robbed/overcharged/mischarged or b) terrorized with overages (time and $$) or c) **** workmanship/quality of finished product. Which is what makes working with Joel and Jose Ramos of Unique Construction all the more exceptional. Project was done earlier than timeline, of better quality than even my highest hopes, and has proven to hold up over time. Impeccable responsiveness and professionalism from both Joel and Jose. Things were constantly and clearly communicated from proposal to completion. Their crews show up every day at beginning of day, leave at end of day, and don't leave **** around. Most importantly, they do things the right way. No shortcuts, no cheap/half *** fixes. All basic things you'd say but things that are virtually impossible to find in Miami. Will absolutely use again for kitchen, bathroom, and home addition projects.- David D.

ATop Dog Electric IncorporatedMy wife and I received several estimates for electrical work on our home through Angie’s List and the technicians from Top Dog Electrical Inc. stood out from the rest due to their enthusiasm to perform the job properly, up to building code, and accommodate our requests. Some companies recommended performing the electrical work that would have changed the aesthetics of our home in a negative way because they wanted to avoid the attic. Other companies didn’t like to discuss the details of how they planned to accomplish some of our projects. Then Chad from Top Dog Electrics Inc. showed up to discuss our electrical projects and I remember Chad commenting, “no job is impossible.” A couple weeks later Chad and Guy showed up to start our projects and later called in reinforcements to help complete all of the work on time. All of our projects were completed as requested to perfection and in a proficient and timely manner. Not to mention that Chad and company repaired the necessary access holes in the walls to facilitate the completion of the jobs. Who does that? Chad and company at Top Dog Electrical did! FThey came into my home and gave me outrageous estimates. They attempted to confuse and scare me about the potential work needed. Then their competitor completed the work for one third the price and if I had bought their other services it would have been $1,000 MORE. I would remove them from your A rated standing, that is terrible!

AJesse was great to work with. We called him with a GFCI outlet issue. He offered to come out the next day but also offered to diagnose over the phone for a reasonable fee if we preferred. Spent time carefully asking questions and examining via Skype Video and we were able to identify and fix the problem. Very reasonable fee and less than on site visit. Would highly recommend. Will hire again for larger project based on great service.

DThey came by my property and looked what work needs to be done and gave me quote of $1950. On the day of actual work, their electrician said his estimate was wrong as he looked at wrong house and they said it needs additional money to the job. Then they said tree also need to be removed. I ended up paying $2600 instead of $1950 as per original quote. I requisted them to follow up with FPL but they never did. They also charged my credit card without authorization as job was not complete. I am very dissatisfied with service and would not recommend or hire them again.

AKudos for a job well done! Mitch supplied all the parts, supplies, and labor to complete the job described above. The job was completed in under 2.5 hours. Steve and his helper were friendly and cleaned up well when they finished. I am VERY happy with the new LED flat panel on the ceiling - it turns on instantly - no more waiting for the herky-jerky slow starting fluorescents to turn on! The LED flat panel is bright. I may decide to have a dimmer installed - I'll wait and see. The price I paid was reasonable and I'll use them again for electrical needs! I would recommend Mitch Joseph to anyone that needs help with lighting or electrical projects!
