    Upholstery by Leo
I was very impressed with the service shown by Leo and his team. I knew I had a big job and that with the time limit it would be tough, but Leo handled everything very professionally, scheduling the appointments as timely as possible and completing the job quickly and cost efficiently. Thank you

Eddy's Furniture Restoration & Wood Work Finishing
Called three times (Eddy did answer all calls) and he requested me to text pictures for a quote which was fair enough. Pictures were texted twice. No follow up or quote or provided. Not sure if Eddy does not handle antiques (he said he repairs all furniture and it was no problem) or was just overbooked too busy. I could not get any feedback and stopped chasing him around after 2 weeks. He was a bit rude and gruff on the phone - one word answers, but maybe there was a language issue.

    Precision Piano Tuning
As expected. Since the piano had not been tuned in likely 10 years (per seller), given option shortly into tuning to continue with tuning to nearest frequency or a more time-consuming pitch change to the pitch standard (i.e., A at 440hz). I decided to due the pitch change to standard later, though in hindsight may make more sense just to get it to standard first shot. Anyway, I appreciated option and promotional special was a great deal so very happy. He did a great job and now, few months later, is tuning to pitch standard today. For new piano owners, should expect to retune piano two or three times a year--especially first couple of years.

    All American Moving and Storage
All American Moving and Storage is the single worst company that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with in my life. Their salespeople will tell you anything necessary to get the job, their movers are untrained, their customer service is non-existent, and their guaranteed prices only last until move in day when they refuse to unload the truck without additional costs added on. They day of my move, the crew arrived 2 hours late, in a rented Budget truck, which was clearly not big enough for my inventory. The crew immediately started packing and loading without taking an inventory of what was going onto the truck. Further, I have an expensive baby grand piano. The salesperson Jordan guaranteed in writing that the piano would be moved on a piano board, and would be kept in climate control for the 8 days until my move in. This was required for me to take out insurance on the piano. He actually told me that he was a good Christian and would never lie. With a number of belongings, including the piano still remaining, they ran completely out of space (after 7 hours of moving). We then waited 2 hours for another crew to show up they loaded the piano and some remaining items. I tipped all 8 workers, from both crews. I called the company, and they promised that my belongings would be consolidated in their air-conditioned warehouse to one truck the truck that was originally slated for my move. 8 days later was move in. Even though I had a contract, which stated a guaranteed price for moving and storage, when the truck arrived, they attempted to charge me an additional $300 for storage. They refused to move anything off of the truck unless I paid in full, which I did ($150 extra after negotiating). They sent 1 mover (they guaranteed 4) to do the entire job a 5 bedroom house. I ended up on the truck with him for 9 hours unloading our belongings. This was supposed to take 4-6 hours. My wife unpacked the furniture from the blankets, most of which was packed loosely and ended up damaged. A second mover showed up 3 hours into the move, in street clothes, and told me that he had just been hired on Craigslist. Jordan, the salesperson had also guaranteed that all of their movers were professionally trained, which was clearly another lie. All of my belongings did not arrive. They never consolidated my items onto a single truck. My belongings (including my piano) remained on the second truck, driving around the southeastern US, without AC. This truck did not arrive until 2 days later. On this truck were my mattress, half of my babys crib, my piano, and a number of other essential items. The piano was no longer on the piano board, which was required for my insurance. When they set it up, it had a loud rattle in the keys it was completely broken. Then I asked where my mattress was it was not on the truck, and still has not arrived to this day. Here is a list of items that were damaged or lost in the move: 1) All three of my surfboard were dented and chipped. Value - $1800 2) All of our lampshades were broken 3) 3 pieces of art that they packed had either cracked glass or frames 4) Family heirloom vase never arrived 5) All of the plastic crates we packed belongings in were crushed and broken, along with some of the items inside 6) They broke the edge off of my daughters dresser 7) They broke an extremely valuable antique Yamaha Baby Grand Piano. This will cost me far more to fix than the price of the entire move. 8) The screws were missing from my daughters crib my wife had to go to Home Depot during the second move to find matching pieces for the movers 9) My custom record shelves had the paint completely chipped off of a 3 square inch area. The delivery man said it was because it wasnt wrapped tight enough. 10) Numerous items came either stained or filthy from dirty blankets or poor packing. 11) Pieces were missing from a desk 12) Brand new wood floors damaged when they tipped over the piano to put it in place, causing a noticeable dent 13) Ripped my daughters crib mattress 14) Broken pieces on our crystal chandelier not replaceable 15) Dropped daughters high chair off of truck at move in and broke the tray It has been 11 days since I moved out, and I still do not have my mattress they are non-committal as to when it will arrive. In addition, they thought that I was on hold when I called to speak with them about it, but I heard 3 or 4 people joking and laughing about the situation then Jordan, the salesman, said just keep him on hold. He was telling the other employees that I was angry just because of a mattress. I cannot express enough the level of dishonesty and borderline criminal activity being perpetrated by All American Moving and Storage. Their prices are low for a reason because they are unprofessional, untrained, dishonest and incompetent. Do not use this company under any circumstances.

Patrick is a pleasant, honest, caring person who did this job out of the kindness of his heart. He takes pride in his work and is excellent in his profession.
After 4 failed attempts to get this job done by another company, which took more than 4 months, Patrick agreed to help me out. His price was very reasonable, and even though he had plenty of work in Broward county near his business, he went of out his way to travel down to me, fighting the hassles of traffic, after explaining the nightmare I had with the other company and how difficult it was to find another company to do this job for me. He got the job done right, and got it done on time. It took him only 2 weeks, while I had endured months of botch-ups from the other company.
    Thank you, Patrick.

    Whiteline Modern Living
At first glance, the showroom is beautiful, but scratch the surface and that is the only positive about this place. It is a family-run business, which I am partial to and probably the reason I keep giving them chance after chance. However, after numerous dealings with them, I now see that their revolving door of workers are treated terribly- I overhear the owner screaming at them whenever I have a complaint (always regarding damaged product and late arrivals). Nevermind the holier-than-thou attitude of his wife (apparently the manager). He once told me that the majority of their customers are wholesalers and I am pretty sure this is why they could not care less about the quality or punctuality of a product that a lowly customer like me and you would purchase. I also feel you must be made aware, all of their pieces are made in China - a fact I recently discovered - and I do not even mean, for them! This fact set me over the edge. You can literally go to China, purchase the furniture dirt cheap, on your own, and bypass their ridiculous, sky-high mark-ups.

    1. The diagrams he made and the finished product were not the same

    2. The quality of work was suboptimal. I felt that he would not listen and would only do what he wanted to do.

    3. He took the down payment and then it took forever to get the installation. The down payment was given in august and the cabinet did not get installed until December

    4. After all the installations were done I gave him all the money but kept behind 400 dollars because the toe kick came off the kitchen cabinet. The doors for the kitchen cabinet were coming apart but, he would not fix it. Some of the closet doors were not closing.

    5. He punched a hole through a painting that he would not admit.

I scheduled an appointment for 1/8/16 at 11AM. No one showed up or called. I called at 11:30AM to inquire. The person I spoke with had no idea about an appointment and said he would call someone to find out about the appointment. He never called back. I called again after noon and no one answered the phone. I left a voice mail asking to be called back. No one called back. I would never use this company nor recommnend them. One hand does not know what the other is doing. They are truly unprofessional.

The Frog Pad Home Products Studio
The first refrigerator ordered arrived dented.  The provider immediately took responsibility - and delivered a new unit - not charging for shipping.  They also then gave me a huge discount on a new item - in the end I increased my order by 300% for items because:
    1. They followed up every email with a phone call
    2. They went out of their way to deal with shippers- calling them on my behalf to ensure timely delivery
    3. They checked in after every delivery to make sure all was well
    4. They went above and beyond double packing items to ensure they arrived with no damage
    5. They continually beat my expectations by calling me before I could even think of questions that they knew I might have
Overall great experience - and have already recommended them to most of my friends.  Michelle Seaman there has been an outstanding customer service rep. I didn't deal with anyone else - but if that is their standard - you can't go wrong.

    Winter Woodworks
Excellent beautiful custom furniture. I can confidently recommend Winter Woodworks.
Mark at Winter Woodworks is a true craftsman and artisan.
His work is beautiful he has done three pieces of furniture in my home, and he recently completed a banister for our stairway. Everything is beautiful, and he does a professional and excellent job.
Beware of negative reviews. Angieslist has not verified them. Those are not actual customers of Mark's.
Anyone who has hired Mark and gotten  by furniture made by him knows that he is professional , punctual and responsive , which is exceptionally rare in South Florida. Additionally any customer has added beauty to their home with a custom piece of furniture by Mark and therefore would only have gratitude.
