Plumber reviews in Mexico Beach

Owner, Jimmy Lumley, responded within hours and personally outlined the job, its possible pitfalls, and quoted a turnkey price, including disposal of items removed. Journeyman plumbers arrived, took every precaution to avoid damaging counter top, and were successful. Arrived on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves. Professional, personable and courteous. Would hire them again for sure.

The company responded quickly to my request for service. Andrew was on time and one of the most knowledgeable technicians I've interacted with. Was professional, thoroughly explained everything he was doing, and made a suggestion that improved the safety of my heating system, even though he was there to look at the a/c. Would highly recommend.

The arrived as scheduled, made themselves available quickly considering the whole area was suffering from frozen and burst pipes. Very personable and pleasant. No huge upfront fees just for coming out. They came and fixed it and mailed us the bill which was very reasonable.

The plumber arrived in a timely manner and had called ahead to let me know his ETA. This was very much appreciated. The cost was a flat fee and was discussed before the work was done. Very satisfied.

Another company told us that Mize does both electrical and plumbing which saved a ton of time because coordinating contractors. While here they advised us of options and ideas that would be more efficient or give us what we really wanted without extra expense. They coordinated with the city for permits, etc, electric company to approve work and turn on service, water company for necessities. All done in one company. They know the local codes and necessary permits. Once their work was done they came back promptly to do each necessary step after utilities were approved. They went above and beyond what you would expect. We were new to town and had no idea where to start. We found several top notch contractors in the area.

Was told that insulation was clogging the drain line.  I recently had blown-in insulation put in the attic, my exchange unit is in the attic.  The Peaden Serviceman told me that the pan "inside" the unit was cracked and that it was the real reason the leak/overflow occurred.  He said the pan that was clogged isn't supposed to get full if the "inside pan" was doing the job.  The cost to replace the cracked pan estimate was over $750 and he had to order the pan.  He said "hopefully" it would not cost more because my unit is in an awkward hard to get to place in the attic.  After Peaden left, and the more I thought about it, I became skeptical and just didn't believe that he pan was cracked, so I called another company.  Deeson AC is a new company but since I'd seen the truck in the neighborhood often I called them in.  Deenson said that yes the pan has a crack but is not leaking, the crack is a hairline one and recommended sealing the crack before it possibly widens.  He said not necessary but for peace of mind he can seal the crack securely.  The Peaden serviceman told me that the crack could NOT be repaired and the ONLY fix was replacement of the interior pan which was expected to take hours.  Deeson had the repair done in less than half an hour and only cost me $65.  HA!

Sometimes these days you don't have high expectations, you can only hope to get a good job. My request was simple, I needed a spigot out at my fence line in the front yard. It was such a quick and simple installation I worried the contractor wouldn't show up on time or at all thinking there wasn't much income there to bother. Not only did Bud Mize from Mize Plumbing show up on time he wasted none finding the water line and installing the spigot. When I came out to see how he had done he was busy putting the sod back in place and cleaning up the area. I gave the spigot the test and was impressed with how solid the line and connection was. I tried giving it a shake and it wouldn't budge, not in the least. He had even insulated the pipe starting underground. I expected to have to do that myself. Now that's attention to detail! I'm really happy with Mize Plumbing.
