    Perry Wright Home Repairs
Perry and Dave showed up on schedule and immediately went to work. It was not a rush job, they took their time to ensure a quality job. On the garage side door, they went above and beyond expectations repairing a loose threshold to ensure a gap-free fit on closing. After doing the contracted work they fixed a front entry door issue gratis. At the end I was left with two perfectly functioning good looking doors. Perry Wright is now my go to handyman!

    Vinnys Home Repair Unlimited
Went very well. All work done and they suggested things that were not necessary to save money. Very, very nice to work with. Suggested a new paint color for office which was perfect. New paint for office was included in price. Replaced 3 door knobs. Noticed loose ceiling fan and repaired that.

    RAMSEY CONSTRUCTION inc.
Pat Ramsey came to our home and gave us an estimate for the the damage done by Hurricane Irma. His crew tarped our roof so we would not have any more damage. He's was able to secure roofing and siding before the shortages started. Pat and his crew were very professional and polite. All of the repairs were completed in a timely manner. Pat was able to complete everything within budget. We were impressed by his professional commitmentand work ethics. We would hire Ramsey Construction again

    SUPERIOR DOORS & WINDOWS
Not well. I called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate, On scheduled date I waited 4 hours for owner to show up. He never came or called. I called and left a message but no return call. I called the next day and rescheduled. Later in the day I stopped by their showroom. When I mentioned this the receptionist checked and told me they didn't do estimates on the day I was told I was scheduled. She rescheduled me for another day. Again on that day I waited and he didn't show up or call again. I called the office to complain. I told the girl who answered I had no choice but to give them a terrible review on Angie's list and other sites. 5 minutes later the owner called me and told me that because the estimates were free, they felt they had no obligation to actually show up or call. Again this came directly from the owner. I highly advise not to use this company.

    Baxter Windows and Doors LLC
We are replacing all windows and doors in a house built in the mid 80s. We went to the Baxter showroom in Orlando to get a feel for products currently available. We spent approximately 90 minutes discussing pros and cons of windows Baxter offers. Excellent representative who was very patient and informative. We set up an in-house appointment for measuring and discussing window/door installations for our house on Merritt Island. Representative was punctual and very professional. What was nice was that after getting measurements of all openings and discussing what type of window or door to install, the representative took about 10 minutes and had an estimate for us with different options. We received it in our email inbox before the representative left. Excellent experience. We planned on getting 3 quotes before selecting a company to perform the work Baxter product, price, and representative were superior to the second quote received. We may forego the third quote.

    Superior Doors & Services
Terrible. I called and asked for an estimate. I was given a 1 hour window for a Wednesday. I waited for 2 hours. When no one showed I called the company. They told me they don't do estimates on Wednesdays. They told me it was for Thursday. I told them I had an important Dr appointment on Thursday and would never have scheduled for that day. We made another appointment for Friday. I stopped at their showroom on Thursday after my Dr appointment. I was told there was no appointment for Friday and they told me the girl who made these appointments didn't know what she was doing. We made another appointment for Monday with a 3 hour window from 2-5 PM with the owner of the company. I called at 4:30 and only got a recording. I left a message with my phone # but received no return call. No one ever showed up. After not receiving a call back on Tuesday I called around noon asking for an explanation. The girl who took my call couldn't offer one. When I told her what my recourse would be, I immediately got a call from the owner. He told me that they are a small company and if any issues come up they blow off the estimates. I asked how they could do this after they had scheduled the appointment and not notify the homeowner that they wouldn't be there. The owner himself told me that estimates are free and they feel no obligation to show up. He told me he got involved and didn't have time to call me. Minutes later he told me that he called and his office called to tell me he wouldn't be there. I told him I had my phone on me all afternoon waiting for his call and my phone showed no calls coming in a during this time frame. He offered to come back out for the estimate but I told him there was no way I could do business with him. I can't comment on the quality of his work but after the no show appointments and his comments on the importance (no importance) of keeping estimate appointments I would advise extreme caution dealing with this company.

    RAMSEY CONSTRUCTION inc.
If you like to have mainly unqualified, unprofessional, untrained, unsupervised people working (and smoking and doing drugs on your property) in your house, never showing up on time or on the days they are supposed to, to have your renovations take 18 months when it should have been done in 4 months, to have nothing done with attention to details, to have work done and have it broken, damaged, cracked, etc, only a couple of months later, to have them do whatever they think is easier for them, not what you, the homeowner, want and ask them to do, etc, yes, maybe Pat Ramsey Construction is the contractor for you! Moreover, he is a scammer, did not properly close the inspection file with the county, then when we discovered a year later he did not do his job, he asked $500 just to go back to the county in Viera to file the paperwork to close his work that he was supposed to have done over a year prior. TOTALLY unreliable and unprofessional!!!

    Todd Thomas Home Improvements Inc
Todd and his crew are very friendly, professional, and competent. My only complaint and it is not really a complaint is that they are very busy and it took three months to get to my bathroom remodel, although there was an intervening hurricane during that time. The job grew from just enlarging the bathroom door and putting safety bars in the bathroom to a complete tearout and replacement of all fixtures and tile. This involved electrical, plumbing. painting, carpentry, and drywall work. The price was very competitive with the other estimates I had. What I really appreciated was they repaired the ceiling damage in August right after I signed the contract and months before the bathroom work, and just a few weeks before Hurricane Matthew. The other contractors who submitted estimates were more interested in doing the bathroom remodel than the ceiling repair. They started the Monday after Thanksgiving and were there every weekday until the job was finished on Wednesday, December 20. They were very responsive to any questions or requests I had. The costs grew as the job grew as I had several additions to the job such as a bathroom fan and a shower seat which my handicapped daughter requested and Todd was quick to accommodate. I am not able to download pictures right now but everyone who has seen the bathroom compliments how beautiful and modern it now looks (compared to the old late 60s bathroom it was), especially the tile work. Todd told me the job might take six weeks but they completed the job in a little over three and it was a nice Christmas present for my daughter. Todd and his crew are to be complimented for being very professional and efficient in all areas of the job and I would definitely call them again if the need arises.

John Vickers Carpentry & Door Service
He came out and advised me what he would do. Said he would be back when in area. Never came back and has not returned calls or text messages. I would hire him, if he would ever return calls or text messages. Oh well, I guess I will have to get someone else.
