Anderson's Custom Concrete & Pavers LLC
I'm so happy i went with this company! Before deciding to go with Anderson's Custom Concrete and Pavers i received quotes from at least 5 other people who all had different ideas of the best way to tackle the job. I recently bought a house and the corner of the living room was 4 inches lower than the other due to a foundation drop, and we needed the floor leveled out. Mike Anderson and his crew exceeded all of my expectations and now I'm sitting in my living room looking at my beautiful new flooring and can hardly remember what my house looked like before! I will continue to use and recommend this company!

Perfectly. Kenny was the consummate professional, and explained the process completely. He designed the project to meet the requirements specified in the survey / permit and the inspection went smoothly. Great guy, great price. We wont go to anyone else for concrete work.

    Advance Contracting Services
They did a great job. They were on time (actually early), walked me through everything that they were going to do before the job and showed me everything they did after the job. Ken called to ensure it was to my satisfaction. Jason was very professional and cleaned up everything after he was finished. He was polite, efficient and very responsible. I would highly recommend.

    Solid Foundations
The company did an excellent job is fixing the structural problem and completed the job in a timely manner. The only reason I scored them a little low on Quality is due to damage to one of my windows. I do understand that things like that can't be prevented but I wish some kind of other options can be put in place instead of the homeowner being responsible for repairs. They were also a little slow in getting back with me with the engineering report once they completed the job.

    Atlantic Excavation and Demolition inc
Excellent, by far the best company I have worked with in my renovations. Robert, Mark, and their team were a pleasure to work with and kept me involved in the entire process. Treated my back yard as if it was their own, which took a lot of pressure off and would not hesitate to use them again for another project.

    Ultimate Remodel LLC

The job went very, very well from the start. Tunch Aydo was prompt with our first appointment and helped us to explore the art of the possible with our ideas. He was creative and an honest provider who was clearly in the business to help customers and not just looking for work for cashflow. We appreciated his honesty and candor. We were invited to his showroom area and were able to explore good options for future jobs.

The quote for the work came in very quickly and was reasonable; in fact, we were able to complete all work under our budget with Ultimate Remodel. If we chose other providers of which we had quotes, we would have had to  pay almost 2 times the amount.

In addition, the business owner was very patient with my family as I as we were exploring all of our options with other providers. Ultimate Remodel said to "take our time", and we ultimately decided they were the best option for completing the work for our home.

After the contract was signed, the Ultimate Remodel team started work the next day which is a testament to their planning of resources. I periodically checked on the job after work, and they worked both efficiently and effectively. Ultimate Remodel also contacted us when they required our input along the way for colors and other specific questions which we appreciated.

The job was completed approximately 3 days ahead of schedule, and the work was tremendous. We appreciate the quality of the work and would recommend Ultimate Remodel for future work to others.

    Aqua Lock
Over all I was very pleased with Aqua Lock but they have to come back because they didn't evalutae what we needed thoroughly enough. Once they realized that we still had a problem, they came back out and addressed further issues at no cost to us. They did everything they could to make up for the mistake they made. What we needed doing is just there were additional problem they didn't realize were there as well. Once they realized, we did fix something we needed to be fixed but we didn't realize this was going on too, they came out and fixed it for us at no extra charge which was really, really wonderful. The only reason I give them a B is because I did ask them, I said "why didn't you figure this out the first time?" The problem was we were trying to sell that house and we were under an awful lot of stress trying to get it ready and I was frankly afraid that this is going to cost me more money but they didn't take advantage of us at all. In fact, they absorbed some of the loss themselves. Everything the did needed to be done, there's no questions, it's that there were some underlying things going on. They didn't understand the scope of  it until I called them back and said there is still water in my garage. They flew back out there that day. The man that owns that company has been doing this for over 20 years. He didn't come out initially to assess the problem, he couldn't be everywhere at once so that could have been part of the issue. I did ask them about another issue that affected the waterproofing but that wasn't their area of expertise. All that was was the garage door bottom needed a thicker, newer seal and actually that's not their deal and the contractor that was painting the house said, you're still getting a little bit of water in there. I couldn't use them if I wanted to because they are a two day drive away since we moved. What they did for us on top of that which they didn't charge us for was shoot another a couple of hundred.

    Certified Structure & Foundation Inc

After examination of the property they promptly forwarded a written estimate and provided verbal description of what they intended to do to solve the settling problem. The work was scheduled promptly and the workmen arrived on time. The work required 3 days.

The workmen were courteous and efficient. It was necessary to remove some shrubs from near the foundation in order to place the piers. They do not replace the shrubs after completion of the work. I did that myself. They kept me informed as to what they were doing and at the time that they jacked up the addition they monitored inside the house to assess any cracks that developed inside as a result of the movement of the foundation. Upon completion of the work they cleaned up the area. Upon their completion I hired Handywoman to complete the project by repairing the cracks that remained - both outside and inside with plaster.

    Certified Structure & Foundation Inc
On 26 March, I had certified structure and foundation come out to give me an estimate to repair foundation around my pool. I had cracking around the tile and the deck was lifting due to a small water leak. Bill from certified structure came out and looked around and discussed what they would do to repair my problem (use jacks to bring deck back up, shore and pin pile the entire deck, and then pressure grout, he explained they would have to drill holes on backside of deck about 1 inch the same size as the holes for security gate, which i was fine with). He would go back talk to his engineers and e-mail me an estimate. On 07 April, I got the estimate and it was for $3150. The estimated stated that during his inspection and probing they found very loose soil at a depth of 4 feet. This was very confusing to me seeing as how they did absolutely no probing on initial visit. On 17 April they came out to do the job and before they started I asked about the probing and why it was not done. The crew that came out was very schocked that no probing had been done. When they started the job after digging about 31/2 Feet they ran into piping. So they could not do any of the work described in the estimate. It was explained to me that if the probing was done they should have known this. instead of the jacks and pin piling the only thing they could do was pressure grout(mud-jack) the deck. I called Bill to discuss new price since we were not doing over 2/3 of what was supposed to be done. He was very reluctant at first to budge on price but when it was all done took $1000 off which was still very high price. They driled 18 holes into the deck and did the mud jacking. All holes were originally 1and quot; in diameter from drill bit and when they pulled tube out there was some overflow grout. I say this because when the job was finished and they left, the what I thought was overflow grout that I would be able to wipe up and just have the 1and quot; hole was not the case. I had some holes that were 6and quot; in diameter. No way the deck can be left in this condition. I tried to call them back but no one has returned my phone call yet. I say the price was high because the total job took less than 3 hours. They used for bags of quickrete and sand. So in materials they spent on the high side $200. That is on the high side. we all know quikrete is like $6 a bag. So the hourly rate I was charged comes out to about $600 an hour. I am all about paying a fiar price for a svc and a job well done. Here i got neither. and now I have to pay to repair the deck. This companies web page says they are the best in the business, i would sure hate to see the worst.
