  • Unacceptable. The Ethernet line in the contract was left out of the original permit and was then omitted from the contract and omitted from the revised permit without my knowledge by (POGO). When i asked for the permit to be on the job site I was told the City had a copy and their company had a copy and i did not need one! I never saw the permit or site plan until approx. 45 minutes before the inspector arrived. The Ethernet line was then attempted without the permit I paid $250. for and then installation abandoned and a hole left in my wall. I was then billed twice for the Ethernet line that was not done and the wall not repaired. When the invoice was finally updated they then increased the labor charge another $100. The company (POGO} claimed they thru away the Camera boxes, Documentation, Serial Numbers and 5 adjusting tools. This company (Pogo) now wants another $200. to come back and retrieve the Camera Serial numbers from the cameras, The Camera Manufacturer asks for the serial Numbers when I call for questions and I can not verity that the Cameras are authentic. 25% of the two rear Cameras are blocked by obstructions and visibility at night is poor. When I discovered that the $250. UPS I purchased to be installed was not here they switched with a $49.00 unit and incorrectly installed it and billed me for the original $250. unit. The Camera Power supply was originally installed where the vent and keyed door was blocked by a appox. 400pound desk! and the replacement UPS was installed without connecting the internal battery, daisy chained to another UPS, all of this needed to be redone in order to work properly and not void warranties. The owner of (Pogo) informed that I was not permitted to contact the actual holder of the Electrical Contractors Lic for this company before filing a complaint with the " State of Florida of Dept of Business and Professional Regulation" against their Lic. There appears to be NO guarantee on the installation that the equipment will work as promised and and all my unresolved issue do not fall under their warranty,

  • I called Safe Alarm Systems because of their positive ratings on Angie's list and their own website advertising on surveillance cameras ([*** Link removed ***] Owner Stuart Glickman came to my home to gather information on my current system. We met for almost two hours as he made several suggestions about what he felt I should consider installing from the Eclipse Security brand ([*** Link removed ***] of Surveillance products. He left stating that he would email the next day three estimates of surveillance equipment packages that would replace & modernize my present sixteen camera system. Next day, no email. I waited three more days, no email. I called Mr. Glickman who said he'd been busy and he would get the estimates to me within 24 hours. Next day, no email. I waited for another two days, called... he said he promised to get the estimates to me in 48 hours, no estimates. I called, no answer. I left a msg to call me. No call returned. If he did not want the business he should've just told me that up front instead of wasting my time and effort.

  • Excellent price, reliable monitoring service. Michael is very responsive if anything is needed or if you have questions. Would not use anyone else for a home security system. I recently upgraded and have used this service for approximately 6 years with NO issues or problems whatsoever.

  • I'd say they were about a C. We haven't been terribly happy with them. Definitely I would say the service has gotten worse. They've been good as far as a service but the Police Department attached to them has been so horrific that it has tainted my using Frontpoint. I'd say their price is a little high for the services I've received. I think we'll probably be stopping using them at some point but right now we are still using them.

  • My primary problem with Vivint is that you do not have enough trained field staff.  We had to wait three weeks for an appointment which took the service tech 10 minutes to repair.  This is just unacceptable.  We pay Vivint for security and for service.  When there are problems with equipment, our house is not secure.  When we have to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get it fixed, we are not getting service.  So, I would pose the question to you - "Just exactly what are we paying for?

  • The service went fine. The only draw back is that I live in South Florida, and it is set up for someone in North Florida. I couldn't trade it for something else, but so far I am happy with it. It was easy to install, and they response quickly if the alarm goes off. Compared to the prices other people charge for monitoring and stuff, it was a pretty good deal. I added a few extra charges, but there weren't any additional fee beyond what I added.

  • INSTALLATION WAS PROFESSIONALY DONE. THEY FOLLOWED MY REQUESTS EXACTLY TO THE LETTER. THEY BOTH HAD SUPER TECHNICAL EXPERIANCE IN EVERY PART OF HE PARTS THEY WERE USING. THEY MADE ME AWARE OF ALL THE ASPECTS OF THE EQUIPTMENT.THERE WAS NO RUSH ON BOTH OF THEM EXPLAINING TO US ON HOW TO USE THE ALARM AND THE SECURITY CAMERAS.THE QUALITY OF THE SECURITY CAMERAS WAS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY.THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIER SERVICE IS THAT THERE 24/7 FOR ANY PROBLEMS THAT MAY ACCUR. NOT AN ANSWERING MACHINE,BUT A KNOWLEDGEABLE PROF. ELECTRONIC WIZ TO GET YOU THRU WHAT EVER PROBLEM YOU MIGHT HAVE.

  • My townhome was broken into a few months ago so I finally decided I needed an alarm and saw the offer on Angie's List, which I really trust.  David arrived on time, listened to my particular issues (my slider had been smashed), and I also have 2 small dogs so wanted to make sure they wouldn't trip the alarm.
    His work was very good and he thoroughly checked to make sure everything worked, plus gave me a couple extras at no cost.

  • Rick Lopez, the owner, came to my home to see exactly where the cameras were to be placed and to discuss my specific requirements. He was very quick to give me the estimate which was extremely reasonable. He started the work 2 days later. Although programming the system took some time, Rick patiently work with tech support and got things done promptly. I am extremely happy with the work done The installation went extremely well. The workers were prompt and Rick the owner did quite a bit of the work himself. Everything was done timely and was cleaned up as if he was never here. All holes were patched neatly and everything was completely cleaned up to look just as it was when he started. I am extremely happy with the job and will recommend A Better Communications to all my friends!

  • Everything went well. The only problem I had was the smoke alarm that immediately and repeatedly gave off a piercing shriek even though there was no smoke or heat. I ripped it off the wall and sent it back and the company refunded that portion of my money. The people with whom I dealt were very calm and encouraging throughout.
