    American Tree Service
Our community had trees trimmed and they have grown back nicely and are prepared for the hurricane season. We also had hedge removal and the replacement plants (completed by our existing lawn maintenance company) are growing as planned. Jimmy was easier to understand than the other bidders.

    TREE CLASSIC INC
I ordered a tree on sale for $649 last January. When it arrived I tested it and found that the top section (section #5 ) did not light. They said they would send a new top section. After many calls it arrived in October. I tested the tree again and found section #2 did not light. They agreed to send a replacement tree. Upon receipt of this replacement tree I found assorted branches that didnt light and half of section #2. I "cannibalized" tree #1 to complete #2 except for half of section #2. This resulted in tree #2 being lit except for half of its section #2. I emailed the co. and wanted to return both trees and get a credit on my credit card. I no longer called because the wait times were awful; one time I waited on hold for over an hour to speak to a rep. I said I have a "new" $649 tree that doesnt light completely and I have been working on this for too long. Where is their quality control? They indicated the policy was the tree had to be returned within 30 days to get a refund; how would that be possible?! Especially a tree bought on sale. They emailed me a troubleshooting list of approx. 8 things to do to see if I could fix the problem. I told them this was not in my or my husband;s "wheelhouse" and I was not going to hire a handyman at $40 an hour to see IF he could find the problem. I'm sorry I ordered from this company and hope to prevent anyone else having from the same frustrating experience.

    Professional Tree Trimmers
I called and Orlando came right out that afternoon (a Friday). He gave me a price LESS than HALF the other estimates I had gotten, and very much in line with the "avg cost in this area". He said they could come out Tuesday afternoon and cut the tree down. Sure enough, Tuesday I get home from work and it was gone, stump grinder arrived a short while later and everything was perfect. The wires undisturbed, the house undisturbed, and all exactly when promised at the price I was quoted. I HIGHLY recommend these guys! They show up, they show up on time, the work is professional, they are professional, and the price was unbeatable (and half the other quotes).

    The Davey Tree Expert Company
It went very well. They've been providing service for me for years. The price was fair. They're pretty competitive. The diagnosis of what the problem was with the trees stood out to me. We've got 15 acres and some of the trees were getting diseases. They diagnosed them and his diagnosis was the best.

    American Landscapes
I've hired them before in the past to install grass in my backyard and again to landscape my front lawn. The plants and trees in my yard were a little out of control in terms of growth. I called them and they made it out to my home the same week and had the job complete the same day! I have to admit, I am a bit OCD. Every time after they've completed, I do a walk around of the property. I NEVER have a thing to complain about. Jason and his guys understand what I want and do everything to make sure I am happy.

    DOOLEY'S DOES IT
I scheduled a time with Dooley to come and grind some stumps from bush and tree removal in our yard. I asked him to give me a call at least 20 min till his arrival as I would be at work but could come by and show him the work. He called me about 30 min before his arrival which gave me more than enough time to get home. He was there when I arrived waiting patiently. We walked the property and discussed where the roots and stumps were. He gave me a price which I felt was very fair. He went to work grinding after giving me and approximate time he would be done. He was loading his truck when I came back to pay him. He cleaned off the driveway and sidewalk where the mulched up stump had been spit out by the grinder. This is the third time I have had Dooley Does it come out and grind stumps. I'm pleased every time. Always fair pricing and quick service.

    KELLEY'S TREE SERVICE INC
These guys are the best! Very professional, punctual, clean. I sent them a message through Angie's List, got a call back to make an appointment. They showed up the very next day at 9AM. The price was very reasonable. I made an appointment for the work to be done. Two days later at 7:30 AM they started the removal of the two trees. Fast, clean, safe. Great machinery (I've seen different with other so called tree removing companies) to get the job done. At 5pm trees were gone, the trucks were gone, everything clean, no damage. Wish all companies were like Kelley's!

    Mike's Tree Service
I canceled them and got my moneyback.  When are you folks going to understand this and leave me alone on this subject - you called me last week on this and last month and sent me one of the above three times.  Maybe you need to find someone who will make you more efficient!

    Mike's Tree Service
Sometimes you have to be careful for what you ask and I think the special in Angie's List was overwhelming and scheduling
them was not efficient.  But once we settled on a specific date and time, they where punctual, efficient and professional.
I certainly would use them again.

    Mike's Tree Service
Mike's Tree Service finally showed up today. This after numerous no shows! An hour after the time limit they imposed on themselves (8-11AM). It seems they have internal issues.- One of there trucks broke down and was out of circulation. So jobs were backing up. But instead Alisha used the weather as an excuse for not showing up on previous appointments. Why can't she just tell the client what's going on? And why does she make appointments when she knows they won't be able to get there on time?- They quoted me $100 for trimming two black olive trees (plus the $99 Angie's List coupon) . Alisha offered me a $25 discount because of all the delays. But then today the amount on their note was $125! Minus $25, amount due $100. Nice discount!
When I asked if they would be coming back to trim the upper part of the tree, they looked at me in a confused way and asked if I wanted the tops rounded. I told them I didn't care as long as the trees would be storm ready. Storm ready making is the most common reason in South Florida to have your trees trimmed. They need to be open in the top so during a storm the wind can't get a hold of it. The trimming they did, I normally do myself from the ground with my pole saw. No trimming company needed!
I understand certain jobs take a certain amount of man hours. I also understand a certain job has a certain price tag. What I don't understand is why these guys come out to my house and give me a quote without explaining or asking anything. The show up with a small truck with a boom that doesn't even reach half the height of my trees!
I told the guys to come back and do the job correctly. They looked very frustrated but as far as I can see there's a load of miscommunication internally and towards their clientele. I haven't heard back from them.
